Help fixing 1st program (attached)

I made it so that when you press the "q" key it would take you back to the 1st frame, but if you start the countdown then go back to frame 1, i get the following errors in the output:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at SchoolCountdownv5_Scene1_fla::MainTimeline/__setProp_main_btn_Scene1_Layer1_0()

I realize when returning to the 1st frame i haven't unloaded the external swf's, but i plan to do that once i can get this thing working.

After looking at your project your issue is with the small rotating .SWF that you are calling in frame 4. Something about it is still trying to run on the stage that there is no reference to in frame 1.
The easiest fix to this to remove the rotating graphics from the stage when pressing the "q" button. Of course this will generate an error message if the .swf is not actually loaded so use the Try / Catch method to control this.
Change your function in Frame 1 to this and I think you'll like the results

I have added authorization check in ABAP program(Progran level security).
i assume you have coded call authority within the program.
If an end user runs the transactionm, then which authorization check will fire first?
if he calls the transaction, then first authorization attached to the transaction will be checked.
but if he executes the program attached to the transaction, then the authorization attached to the transaction dosent help here, the one coded in side the program is checked.
If I have web enabled my ABAP program via SICF (in other words, ITS).
it depends,
if you are calling your transaction like
webgui/?~transaction=<tcode> then first tcode level authorization.
if you generate the templates for the program and callign the same, then i guess its progam level. (i need to check this)

Fixed Length File attachment to Mail Receiver

Hi,
I have an interface requirement IDOC - PI - Fixed Length File attached to email.
Is it possible to do this? I need to pass the IDOC through a mapping and content conversion to build the fixed length file, I then need to attach this file to an email and send it to a user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I actually need to convert the IDOC to a different file format before sending it on. Eg.

Converted to flat file with structure:

The file needs to have fields of Fixed Length (thats what the .... after each field is to represent)
So I think the Data Type I am using for the file needs to go through Content Conversion to do this change, and then the file attached to an email.
I hope this makes sense.

Help with Paint program.

Hello. I am somewhat new to Java and I was recently assigned to do a simple paint program. I have had no trouble up until my class started getting into the graphical functions of Java. I need help with my program. I am supposed to start off with a program that draws lines and changes a minimum of 5 colors. Anyway, look. This is wrong:int seqSearch(z;50000;n); //method call 4 key where key=midfor two reasons. The first is that leading "int"; it doesn't mean anything here. "int" is used to declare an integer variable, but you're not declaring a variable here, you're invoking a method. The second problem is that you're using semicolons to separate arguments in the method call, but actually commas are correct. You probably want something more like this:

Some more problems with your code: you're calling non-static methods in a static context (the main method is static and seqSearch isn't). You're also using "n" before you declare it, which is probably a problem.
And this makes no sense:z=2*i;because you've declared z to be an array; you can't use the multiplication operator on an array. It's not clear really what you're trying to accomplish there.
Here's what I want you to do. Take your code and completely remove the binSearch method. Just rip it out. Then in your main() method, take out all references to the binSearch method, and all references except for the first one of the seqSearch method. Fix the things I mentioned above.
Then try to compile what you have. It won't compile. You will get error messages. That's OK. Just fix them and move on. If you don't understand an error message, ask on these forums (DON'T CROSSPOST), quoting the full error message and the relevant lines of code.
After a couple hours, you'll fix the syntactical bugs, and your program will compile. Then you'll find that it compiles but the program doesn't work right. That's also OK. This is how computer programming works. It's part of the process. Don't panic. At that point, you can start trying to fix the program so it does what it's supposed to. Eventually you'll get it to work.
Then, and only then add more invocations of the seqSearch method. They won't all work, probably. You'll find more bugs. That's OK. Just repeat the process of fixing them.
When you've fixed those bugs, then, and only then, add the binSearch method. Repeat the process of fixing syntax and hunting down and fixing bugs.
Then your program will work.

Help with a Program I am writing! Please!

I know this seems like a lot of errors, but believe it or not, I actually had it up in the high teens and was able to fix some of them myself from going by previous examples, as well as looking things up in my text book. Dear Friends,
With the help of this program I am trying to connect two instruments (One is CM110 monochromator of Spectral products and another one is from Keithley 2400 source meter) with the same programs. With the help of this program I am trying to increase the wavelength of the monochromator by say 10 nm and want to read the current at applied source meter voltage.
But the problem is each execution of while loop it is keeping ON/OFF the souce meter applied voltage . I want to keep the applied source meter voltage on through out the whole while loop and read the current, but I am not able to do so.
Please help me. For your further information I am attaching the LabVIEW Program.

Online Help for Common Programs Will Not Open in Firefox

Many of my programs, such as Ultradefrag and Audacity (to name two), present their Help guides and User Manuals using a browser. I have Firefox set as my default browser. Every time I try to use help with these programs, I get the very frustrating message "Firefox is already running, but ...". I cannot use help without killing firefox and losing all of my browsing sessions. There simply MUST be a way around this. I do not experience this major problem with Internet Explorer. I'm using Firefox 14.0.1 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.

Yep, i just did it again. The entire scroll-bar widget, complete with formatted text, graphics, etc., pasted itself nicely in another book. Two different files, the same widget.
I use the scroll-bar widgets for most of my texts. (I have audio buttons on the side, and the scripts are within the widget, to the side). My only text is within widgets, and text boxes, naturally.
I am following your recommendation: cleaning files, etc. I am remaking the book anew. I need to convince the EPUB bot or whatever that my file looks and works nicely on all my devices. You would expect an error message when previewing the book: 'Hey Amigo, your file is flawed, stop working on it, and get back to the drawing board." Should be able to try again next Monday.

I'm designing a HID device, and I want to write a host program using National Instrument's LabView. NI doesn't have any software support for USB, so I'm trying to write a few C dll files and link them to Call Library Functions. NI has some documentation on how to do this, but it's not exactly easy reading.
I've written a few C console programs (running Win 2K) using the PC host software example for a HID device from John Hyde's book "USB by design", and they run ok. From Hyde's example program, I've written a few functions that use a few API functions each. This makes the main program more streamlined. The functions are; GetHIDPath, OpenHID, GetHIDInfo, Writ
eHID, ReadHIC, and CloseHID. As I mentioned, my main program runs well with these functions.
My strategy is to make dll files from these functions and load them into LabView Call Library Functions. However, I'm having a number of subtle problems in trying to do this. The big problem I'm having now are build errors when I try to build to a dll.
I'm writing this post for a few reasons. First, I'm wondering if there are any LabView programmers who have already written USB HID host programs, and if they could give me some advice. Or, I would be grateful if a LabView or Visual C programmer could help me work out the programming problems that I'm having with my current program. If I get this LabView program working I would be happy to share it. I'm also wondering if there might already be any USB IHD LabView that I could download.
Any help would be appreciated.
