Help how to write ARP command on TCP

Help or advice needed...
In my application I'm using an Access Point /Router that is connected to the computer with the LV application (exe compiled) running on it. At a precise moment I need to release a specific IP address and it's associated MAC address from the TCP connection...
The "arp -d nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn" (n=IP address) has the right action and releases the wanted IP address when send from the dos screen , but when I want to build this command in my labview application via a TCP Write VI, I have nothing happend. Did someone faced that kind of problem ?

It's on the Communication palette. Anytime you're trying to find a function, you could search for it. On the functions palette, there's a search button.

Please help how to run System commands and batch files thru java program

I want execute OS commands like dir,cls..etc and batch files,.exe filesthru java program.
I have tried it sofar thru Runtime.getRuntime().exec("execute.bat");
but it is not working.anybody knows about how to run the system commands thru java please give me the code.

I've seen other posts with this questions, and answers. Unfortunately I didn't pay much attention. But the basic idea is to exec command.com and pass the specifc batch or command as an argument.

What you want to do is relatively complicated and it seems that your knowledge of LabVIEW is relatively basic. I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here, here, here, here, here and here are a few you can start with and here are some tutorial videos. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).

Problem. There are 4 tables of a database of a store:
Table 1: Tarifs
Columns: Tarif_number, Price
Primary key: Tarif_number

Hello, i want to know how to write a command like "icacls dir /deny everyone:(CI)(OI)W" on windows xp. Afaik there is no icacls on windows xp, so i guess this should be done with just cacls? I want to lock a folder through cmd, but i cannot manage
to write a correct command and i don't understand how to use abbrevations with cacls. Could some help me out with converting "icacls dir /deny everyone:(CI)(OI)W" used on w7 to something similar on xp. Also interested in how "/grant"
transitions on win xp.

I'm trying to create a program where the user can enter a year and gets the date of Easter on that year he/she entered. So far i've implemented the Easter class which contains the methods for getting the day and month of Easter, but I'm trying to write the main class which is kind of tricky for me. The main class is supposed to be the one asking the user for the year. Except I don't even know what you have to write. I did a bit of research and eventually found something like this: " InputStreamReader cin = new InputStreamReader(System.in)" I realize that that is a constructor and that cin is actually a variable supposed to hold whatever the user inputs. Except I just want to make sure if that's kind of the guidelines on how to make it so that the user can enter something back. Also, I want the user to enter a year- so in other words an int type. Here's why:(The Implemented Class for Easter)

System.in is used to read standard input to the Java process. If you don't know what "standard input" is: basically it's stuff that you could type at the console when you're running the program, but it could be file content depending on how you invoke the program.
InputStreamReader is a class that takes that stream of input bytes and turns it into a stream of characters. It doesn't really hold anything.

Yea I want to make it so that the user's input is "int y" The user's input is always going to be characters. Scanner has methods to automatically turn input into other types. If you use something else (like the common idiom involving InputStreamReader) you'd need to convert the Strings you read into ints by hand, which isn't hard but why do it if Scanner does it for you?
Read the docs for java.util.Scanner.

I am calling a stored procedure from a shell script. This stored procedure is having a CLOB object as an OUT parameter. How to write the data in CLOB object a existing file which is there in my client system. Below is the shell and sql scripts.

i am new to java and i confused on how to be writing this program.
i have completed the Part 1 but i am stuck on Part 2 & 3 so it would would be really great if any 1 could help me out on how to write the program.
Part I
An algorithm describes how a problem is solved in terms of the actions to be executed, and it specifies the order in which the actions should be executed. An algorithm must be detailed enough so that you can "walk" through the algorithm with test data. This means the algorithm must include all the necessary calculations.
Here is an algorithm that calculates the cost of a rectangular window. The
total cost of a window is based on two prices; the cost of the glass plus the cost of the metal frame around the glass. The glass is 50 cents per
square inch (area) and the metal frame is 75 cents per inch (perimeter).
The length and width of the window will be entered by the user. The
output of the program should be the length and width (entered by the user)
and the total cost of the window.
FORMULAS:
area = length times width perimeter = 2 times (length plus width)
Here is the corresponding algorithm:
read in the length of the window in inches
read in the width of the window in inches
compute the area
compute the cost of the glass (area times 50 cents)
compute the perimeter
compute the cost of the frame (perimeter times 75 cents)
compute the total cost of the window (cost of glass plus cost of frame)
display the length, width and total cost
The next step would be to "desk check" the algorithm. First you would need to make up the "test data". For this algorithm, the test data would involve making up a length and a width, and then calculating the cost of the window based on those values. The results are computing by hand or using a calculator. The results of your test data are always calculated before translating your algorithm into a programming language. Here is an example of the test data for the problem given:

width = 20
area = 200, glass cost= 100.00 (area times 50 cents)
