Help in Alerts

I have an alert that is triggered when an error occurs in my sender FTP adapter.
The alert is created and I can see it in my alert inbox. However, in SOST transaction, the content of mail is different. The subject is "<MyRuleName> (The triggering application determined you as a recipient)", and the body doesn't have my text defined in ALRTCATDEF.
Can someone help me with this problem?

Some more information.
I have a sender ftp adapter. When the FTP Server doesn't respond, I want trigger an alert with the message that appears in the communication channel.
When I get the error message with the container element SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT, the message is truncated after 80 characters. When I use SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRLINES, the element isn't filled.
But no matter what I write on ALRTCATDEF, the user receives a blank mail, with another subject. It like SCOT/SOST change the content of mail, because is everything OK on alert inbox.

Well, me and my three days of Flash Builder are lost in the woods. I have no idea how to do what you suggest. The code Google's showing me seems to call for scrapping my working functional program and starting from scratch. For a message box.
Can I add a message box to my existing code?

Help! "Alert: No Internet Connection found" after most recent auto update!

I am on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.6.8. I connect over a wireless router and cable modem usually and do the same with a few other devices in the household. After the most recent update I was met with an airport alert: No Internet Connection on my laptop. I turned airport on and off, power cycled router and modem to no avail. I called my ISP to renew the ip or whatever it is they do and that also did nothing. While troubleshooting with the operator she told me that based on the ip starting with 169. , that signified that the laptop was not getting a signal from the router, or vice versa. I confirmed this by using airport diagnostic and noticing that it did not pick up when I power cycled my modem or router after being prompted to do so. I apologize for the wall of text formatting but I am forced to post this on my phone now. Any help would be appreciated!

Any direction on how to reset the update or anything like that would be great, thanks!

Help for Alert once AR Invoice booked to sales employees

Hi all,
I have made an alert in which when a sales invoice is added to the system an automayic alert goes to the sales employee but the problem is that when the sales employee logs in, he get the complete full as on date ar invoices which are been made into the system which includes old invoices.

Hi Kamlesh,
Datediff(yy,T0.DocDate,getdate()) = 0
Datediff calculate the different between 2 dates. With a normal math function you are not able to calculate a different between dates. So the part in the brackets are the statement.
yy means display / use year, the last 2 numbers
T0.DocDate is the first date from your table
getdate() get the actual date from the system
=0 is the condition.
So in with it means, check / calculate if the date differenz between the date from T0.DocDate and the actual system date is equal 0.

Help on alerts/warehouse/credit limit

Dear Experts,
I need help on the following:
1) As soon as the invoice is generated it should send a one-time alert immediately to the conecerned authority (user). Is it possible through the alerts management as there is no functionality of giving the alert just one time as and when it is generated. Also please give the query to do the same.
2) Stored procedure to check that at the time when the PO is added then all the warehouses at the line level should be same.
3) I want to block all deliveries/invoices where the credit limit exceeds. Can it be done through the standard system or the same can be done through SP_Notification stored procedure.
I am using SAP 2007 B PL 15.

I am acquainted with the SP_Transaction notification procedure. So there woul be no problem in adding that quey to stotred procedure.
I need the queries for the below:
1) Blocking deliveries and invoices where credit limit exceeds.
2) Blocking all PO's/GRPO's where the warehouses at line level are different.

Hi Gurus,
We are on SAP Business One version 9 PL03 and we maintain an after-sales MS Access SAP add-on where users input the details of a damaged/faulty after-sales item(s) (under warranty) which the customer(s) has brought back for repair. The user punches a Goods Receipt to receive the item(s) for repair which upon repair, a job card is opened, the item repaired and the job card number punched in a Goods Issue as the item(s) is returned to the customer(s).
The problem we are now facing is that some of the items that have been repaired and returned to the customers keep on appearing in the after-sales alerts with the job status reading as 'CANCELED'. Please help.

You need to press menu (the blackberry logo key), go to profiles, scroll down to advanced, normal or which one is active, and you can change the sounds for each applicaton.

HELP SAFARI ALERT

I have a macbook air. Upon searching in safari a window opens up and says http://www.safaricontact-help.com SAFARI ALERT "Your browser has been locked because of possible infections found in your machine. Due to which your browser might be corrupted because of suspicious activity found. Major Security Issue. For immediate assistance through our Apple Certified technicians CALL: +1-855-337-8048(toll free)".   I called the number and they don't even answer Apple they just say thank you for calling please continue to hold for the next available agent.
Is this legit and can I get my safari back?

It's a JavaScript scam that only affects your web browser, and only temporarily. There are several ways to recover.
1. Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press the key combination command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
2. Press and hold command-W. You may hear repeating alert sounds. While holding the keys, click the OK button in the popup. A different popup may appear, which you can cancel out of as usual.
3. From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
4. If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. None of the windows and tabs will reopen.
After closing the malicious page, from the menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.

Need help on alert message

I am using a Flash .swf file as part of a web-based piece
built in Toolbook. I publish the piece and then click on the
index.html page. When the .swf plays locally, I receive this
message:

The there is an OK and Settings...buttons.
First off, when I click the Settings... button, nothing
happens...but the real question is how to avoid this message from
appearing at all. I ask this because I want to have a downloadable
version in HTML form and do not want the user to see this message.
Is it possible to get rid of this message and if so, how?

When you publish this file the messages will go away, so your
users will not see it.

Need Help----Red Alert

Hi Team,
I own a BB Curve since Feb 2012 and have been facing issues since then, I've got this handset sent to the repair center 3 times and still have the same issue coming up every other month. The phone automatically reboots and it gets really irritating as we've paid our hard earned money for the handset and if this what we get than we are forced to move to another handset providers, Now the time has come for BB as a company to act and change my handset for good for all the trouble I've had. Need a reply on this ASAP.

Help for Alert required

I am trying to create an alert system in SAP Business One wherein once a users put the AR Invoice an automatic alert goes to the sales employee linked to that particular AR invoice.
The query for the alert is as under :

Now the problem is that this alert seems to work fine but it is giving the sales Employee all the AR invoices which are made from Jan 2009 till date.
My requirement is that in the alert pop up message box it should only show the current and latest AR invoices and not from Jan 2009. Also in the alert pop up screen of sales employee how to remove the AR invoices which the sales employee has seen from the alert.
In the alert setup I have selected Alert frequency as every 1 minute and unticked Save History. My requirement is that as soon as the user enters the AR invoices at that time itself alert should go to the sales employee.
IS my query wrong please suggest or what have i done wrong.

go to the tabs for each of Movies, TV shows, Books and Tones (in the picture you posted you have the Books tab selected) and check your sync settings. You get this message if you have turned off synching for those areas.
It is a little confusing, if you do not synch books, then it takes away all the books it put on in previous syncs.
If you sync books it will leave on any books that are already there, unless you have removed them from your iTunes library on your computer.
So you are getting the warning because you asked it to sync but had deselected these categories.
You probably thought that you didn't have any new books to sync over, so it didn't need to do that part of the sync. But it doesn't work that way. The sync process looks for what is new, and only transfers the new stuff. But if you say do not synch books (or movies, etc.) then it assumes you wish to remove all previously synched books (or movies, etc.)

Whenever a Business Partner has been identified during an Interaction, an Alert should be raised in the Interaction Center for the CSR (Call Center Representative). The Alerts would be based on Attributes attached to the Business Partner Master on based on Business Partners past Transactions (for eg. The customer has transacted for more than INR 10,000 in the last 1 month)
Step 1: Create Alert Profile
Define a Z Alert profile.
Step 2: Program in Global Data
Enter the Program for Alert Message (eg. He is a frequent customer)
Step 3: Program in Functions and for Even which triggers the Alert
Enter the Program that an Alert should be raised in case the Business Partner is identified.
Step 4: Alert Rule
In the Rule Tab enter the Program that is the following Attribute is found in the Business Partner Master then an Alert should be raised:
     Top Management
     Stakeholders
     Legal
     Chargeback
     Sticky
     Test ID
     Mail Order ID
Output Requirements:
CSRs should get an Alert when the Business Partner is identified

More questions regarding alert modeler for CRM 5.0
Is there any way to make the messages "pop" more - i.e. change colour, or flash? Have had a request from a department who comments alerts do not stand out enough and would like some way of bringing them to the agents attention.

Alert Rule Configuration in SAP PI 7.3

Hello,
I am using PI 7.3. It's java stack only. I am using component based alert configuration.
AlertConsumerJob is running. But for a particular scenario, no alert is generated, although the message status is "System error". We are getting the below error for this scenario.
com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions720.NameNotFoundException: Object not found in lookup of PI_Technical team.
This alert generation is working fine for others scenarios. Means, we are able to get alert mail for other scenarios.
Please advise.

Alert for Order Line Item

Hi all,
We have a need to create an alert when a user enters a line item. Is this possible? I am new to alerts so any guidance would be much appreciated.
After a user enters a line item and presses enter, for certain products an alert should ideally pop-up. Otherwise, it should appear in the messaging. What would be necessary for this to happen?
We are on CRM 5.0.

Alerts are triggeered on some events like a click of the button .They appear in the alert area provided in the sap ic webclient application.
Your requirement is very much possible.You need to follow the following steps:
1.Create an alert class in se24 .where u need to write the code for triggering the alert or u can directly write the code in the controller class of the view where u are going to add the item.
2.Go to SPRO->CRM->ICWebclient->Customer Specific System Mod->create events
and there create an event if u will use the alert class .
3. Go to spro->crm->ic webclient->alerts
Using wizard create an alert with some text .

Is there any table in SAP that stores message ids for which alerts are thrown.
My requiremenst is to extract messages for which alerts are thrown.
I found ALXMBALERT , but this does not have any entries.
