    /* Tips for Elastic layouts
    1. Since the elastic layouts overall sizing is based on the user's default fonts size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those that need larger fonts size since the line length remains proportionate.
    2. Sizing of divs in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the entire layout will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase the widths of the various divs to compensate for this.
    3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.

thanks for your help gramps ; sorry about my inexperience but trying my best.
]let me go though where i am clear and where i am not !!
This is what I am doing : First I set up a folder on the desktop eg Wesbitefiles : then put another folder in there for images then I open DW and go to manage my site and choose this as my root folder. (Websitefiles) as root folder. Then I insert spry : as you say below
The Spry support files are supposed to reside in a subdirectory/subfolder called SpryAssets.
If you look closely at your local directory/folder structure you will see the subdirectory and the files that are contained within the subdirectory/subfolder.
I understand this bit ; when I insert the spry menu bar in dreamweaver they automatically create a spry asset folder. I can see this as pictured below\
Now the bother seems to be what I do next.
I open my server and I get this view
first i upload my index file see like this
next I make create a spry directory or folder on the server like this
after that I upload the spry files one by one from the spry folder on my computer
that is what i do this is my server view here then
so as far as I can see I am following the steps by creating a spry assets folder on local and then on remote but still not working
here is code by the way
The Spry support files are supposed to reside in a subdirectory/subfolder called SpryAssets.
If you look closely at your local directory/folder structure you will see the subdirectory and the files that are contained within the subdirectory/subfolder.

    1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the div. The elements within this div have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.

If you are unable to get the iPod into Disk Mode to try and restore it, it's a very good indication, as mentioned in the article, that the iPod's hard drive is damaged and in need of replacement either by Apple or a third party repair company.

  • Is there an easier/simpler way of obtaining this result ?

Good morning (afternoon to you, BluShadow),
I obtained the following correct, as desired, output (derived from the EMP table):
D10     D20     D30     PREZ    MGRS    ANALS   SALESM  CLERKS
CLARK   JONES   WARD    KING    BLAKE   FORD    ALLEN   ADAMS
KING    FORD    TURNER          CLARK   SCOTT   MARTIN  JAMES
MILLER  ADAMS   ALLEN           JONES           TURNER  MILLER
            SMITH   JAMES                           WARD    SMITH
            SCOTT   BLAKE
                    MARTINusing the following query:
    with
-- pivoted departments  (haven't studied the Oracle PIVOT clause yet)
       depts as
        select max(case deptno
                     when 10 then ename
                   end)                                 as d10,
               max(case deptno
                     when 20 then ename
                   end)                                 as d20,
               max(case deptno
                     when 30 then ename
                   end)                                 as d30,
               rnd
          from (
                select deptno,
                       ename,
                       row_number() over (partition by deptno
                                              order by deptno)  rnd
                  from emp
         group by rnd
         order by rnd
       -- pivoted jobs
       jobs as
        select max(case job
                     when 'CLERK'         then ename
                   end)                                 as Clerks,
               max(case job
                     when 'PRESIDENT'     then ename
                   end)                                 as Prez,
               max(case job
                     when 'MANAGER'       then ename
                   end)                                 as Mgrs,
               max(case job
                     when 'ANALYST'       then ename
                   end)                                 as Anals,
               max(case job
                     when 'SALESMAN'      then ename
                   end)                                 as SalesM,
               rnj
          from (
                select job,
                       ename,
                       row_number() over (partition by job
                                              order by ename)   as rnj
                  from emp
         group by rnj
         order by rnj
    select d10,
           d20,
           d30,
           Prez,
           Mgrs,
           Anals,
           SalesM,
           Clerks
from depts a full outer join jobs b
                                on a.rnd = b.rnj
order by rnj, rnd;which takes a total of 5 selects to get there.
I was trying to find a query that would be, hopefully simpler, easier and didn't require as many selects. My last attempt is the following (which is close to the desired result but doesn't get a cigar yet):
    select case deptno
             when 10 then ename
           end                                 as d10,
           case deptno
             when 20 then ename
           end                                 as d20,
           case deptno
             when 30 then ename
           end                                 as d30,
           case job
             when 'CLERK'         then ename
           end                                 as Clerks,
           case job
             when 'PRESIDENT'     then ename
           end                                 as Prez,
           case job
             when 'MANAGER'       then ename
           end                                 as Mgrs,
           case job
             when 'ANALYST'       then ename
           end                                 as Anals,
           case job
             when 'SALESMAN'      then ename
           end                                 as SalesM,
           row_number() over (partition by deptno
                                  order by deptno)  as rnd,
           row_number() over (partition by job
                                  order by ename)   as rnj
      from emp
order by rnj;The above query gets me to this result which is encouraging but... short of the mark:

PS: I'll be perfectly happy learning that there is no easier/simpler way. In other words, if the answer is simply "No, there is no simpler/easier way", please do let me know that is the case. (I ask that you be fairly sure of that though, thank you)

    Hi, John,
You had part of the solution in each of your attempts.
Do a FULL OUTER JOIN, as in your first query, on two copies of the result set of your second query.
    Using Oracle 9 features only:
    WITH     got_row_numbers     AS
select     case WHEN deptno = 10 then ename end               as d10,
case WHEN deptno = 20 then ename end                    as d20,
case WHEN deptno = 30 then ename end                    as d30,
case WHEN job = 'CLERK'     then ename       end        as Clerks,
case WHEN job = 'PRESIDENT' then ename       end        as Prez,
case WHEN job = 'MANAGER'   then ename       end        as Mgrs,
case WHEN job = 'ANALYST'   then ename       end        as Anals,
case WHEN job = 'SALESMAN'  then ename       end        as SalesM,
                     row_number () over ( partition by      deptno
                                            order by           NULL
                           )                           as rnd,
                     row_number () over ( partition by      job
                                            order by           ename
                           )                            as rnj
      from      emp
    SELECT       MIN (d.d10)          AS d10
    ,        MIN (d.d20)          AS d20
    ,       MIN (d.d30)          AS d30
    ,       MIN (j.clerks)     AS clerks
    ,       MIN (j.prez)          AS prez
    ,       MIN (j.mgrs)          AS mgrs
    ,       MIN (j.anals)          AS anals
    -- ,        MIN (j.salesm)     AS salesm
    FROM            got_row_numbers     d
    FULL OUTER JOIN     got_row_numbers     j     ON     d.rnd     = j.rnj
    GROUP BY  NVL (d.rnd, j.rnj)
    ORDER BY  NVL (d.rnd, j.rnj)
;I've been trying to think of a good name for this kind of query where the items one the n-th row have nothing in common except that they are on the n-th row. For lack of anything better, I call it a Prix Fixe Query , because it resembles the menus where, for a fixed price, yuu can choose different options for each course:
    Appetizer     Soup          Main Course     Desert
    Pakora          Coconut          Aloo Gobi     Galabjamun
    Salad          Lentil          Bharta          Halwa
    Samosa                    Dhosa          Kulfi
Saag PaneerAbove, each column is sorted alphabeticlly. There is nothing but pure coincidence linking 'Pakora' with 'Coconut' or "Aloo Ghobi' with 'Galabjamun': they just happen the be the first items, in alphabetic order, in their respective columns.
You may notice that I used
"PARTITION BY deptno ORDER BY NULL " where you used
"PARTITION BY deptno ORDER BY deptno "
It never makes sense to ORDER BY anything in the PARTITION BY list. Each distinct item in the PARTITION BY list is a world of its own. You will only sort things that are identical with respect to the PARTITION BY list. That is, if the system has to decide whether to give 'CLARK' or 'KING' the lower ROW_NUMBER in deptno=10, deptno itself will not help the decision: the deptno for both will necessarily be the same. There's no syntax error, it just doesn't do any good, and the order of the output will be arbitrary.
There would be a syntax error if you omitted the ORDER BY clause: ROW_NUMBER must be done in the context of some ordering. If you really want the order to be arbitrary, then be clear about it. ORDER BY a constant (such as NULL) so that nobody reading the query quickly is fooled into thinking you really are ordering by something. (A comment would be helpful in that case, also.)
You probably want to "ORDER BY ename", or something meaningful, in this case.

  • Hi can you please help me to fix my iPhone 5 when I update it to the iOS 6.1.2 my carrier signal indicator states searching all the time please help me what to do

HiHi can you please help me to fix my iPhone 5 when I update it to the iOS 6.1.2 my carrier signal indicator states searching all the time please help me what to do

    Hi Samantha,
Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1275
Also, I suggest you start a new post and title it something like First, stuck on update and now on Restore on another computer. Please HELP! And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) And refer them to your original post
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/22050045?ac_cid=tw123456#22050045
Hope this helps and if you can get back to your ios before the upgrade, stay with it. I hope it all works out for you.
FYI - If it's a new or refurb bought within the past year you might be able to have it replaced by Apple.

  • Is there any simple way to close a group of PO's?

    Hello All,
I was looking an answer for my question on forum but didn't found anything which could help me to solve my issue.
I would like to close a group of PO's in some period of dates. Is there any simple way to do this? I mean transaction for example, which will let me to choose company number, period of dates  or range of PO numbers and close them by one tick (one action).
Thank you in advance for any support from your site.

    Kamil,
Though I have not used this functionality, can you check whether you can use this functionality for mass change?
Upload and Download of Purchasing Documents

Using this function, you can download purchasing documents as a file to your PC, process them locally, and then upload the changed documents to the SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) system. You can download the following purchasing documents :
    Features:
The upload/download supports the following functions and possible uses:
    - Cross-Document File Structure
You can display and process the data in a standard tabular file structure for the documents named above. The file structure assigns a unique technical ID to each data field in a metadata area.
    - Process Document Data Offline and Retain
You can change or delete existing data, add new data, and transfer all document data, for example, customer fields.
    - Process Large Documents
This function simplifies the creation of documents with numerous items, and simplifies mass changes to large documents; for example, you can download a document with only one item, and add multiple items to it offline.
Background processing occurs in the case of very large documents.

  • Simple way to insert data from one table

    Hi,
I need to know a simple way on how to transfer the data from one table to another....
    First table xx_inv_tab1 has three columns col1, col2, col3 and where as second table xx_inv_tab2 has five columns col1, col2, col3, col4, col5.
    Here col2, col3, col4 are the same columns as in table1 xx_inv_tab1...
Now I want to transfer first table data in to second table .... first column of second table holds a sequence, followed by the first table three columns data and followed with col4 and col5 which will hold NULL values....
In my scenario, I have 70 - 75 columns in my first table which I want to move to second table which three new columns (one is sequence and other two has null values)...
Any ideas if we make it in a simplest way rather saying insert into xx_inv_tab2 (col1, col2, col3 ............................................. col75) values (seq, col1, col2..........................col75, null, null)
    Help Appreciated..
    Thanks

    Easy
    untested
    insert into xx_inv_tab2 t2 (col1,col2,col3,col4)
    select yourSequence.nextval, t1.col1, t1.col2, t1.col3
    from xx_inv_tab1 t1
;Note that col5 does not need to be used, since you want to fill it with NULL.
USe excel or sql developer to write you a list of column names, if you are to lazy to write all 75 columns by yourself.
    What might also work:
    untested
    insert into xx_inv_tab2 t2
    select yourSequence.nextval, t1.*, null
    from xx_inv_tab1 t1

  • Is there at all a simple way to set the export size of a SWF?

    Need Help!
I created an animated banner for class, using a standard size.  It ended up way to small, but all the element and text animation is done.  I can easily change the document size, but everytime I try to enlarge the elements, they pixilate and lose all visual integrity (not to mention its enough work to resize between all the tweens that I might as well start over).  However, resizing the actual SWF output proves the elements can handle being a larger size without any pizilation or degrading - it looks great much larger than the initial export.  Is there at all a simple way to just have Flash 5.5 export the same banner SWF at a larger size?   Please help!

you can load (dynamically) your banner into another swf and resize it in the main (loading) swf.

  • Need a simple way to view a professionally made DVD.

I'm new to Macs (2 weeks) after 13 years in Windows. I have a DVD a professional made for me for our 25th Wedding anniversary. I have been able to play it on my Windows notebook but it freezes after about 40 seconds on the Mac.
It starts with a still photo in which there is a small frame with script running. You click on it and the main series of photos and music start.
I copied the folders and files from the DVD to a folder on the Mac. There are two folders: AUDIO_TS (which is empty) and VIDEO_TS.
    VIDEO_TS contains the following files: VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB, VTS010.BUP, VTS010.IFO, VTS011.VOB, VTS020.BUP, VTS020.IFO, and VTS021.VOB.
I purchased and installed QuickTime MPEG2. I can view the .VOB files, but there is no music and I can't make it run as a complete video.
I have absolutely no experience with any video editing and know nothing about handling these types of files.
I have a DVD that I can view on my Windows laptop and in a standard DVD/TV player. I was just hoping to be able to have it stored on my Mac and be able to view it.
Is there a simple way to accomplish this?

I'm new to Macs (2 weeks) after 13 years in Windows. I have a DVD a professional made for me for our 25th Wedding anniversary. I have been able to play it on my Windows notebook but it freezes after about 40 seconds on the Mac.This may be normal. It could be your Mac DVD Player simply doesn't like the disc brand or a dirty lens interrupting the continuous throughput.
I copied the folders and files from the DVD to a folder on the Mac. There are two folders: AUDIO_TS (which is empty) and VIDEO_TS.This is normal. The AUDIO_TS folder is just there for compatibility with earliest models of DVD players.
I purchased and installed QuickTime MPEG2. I can view the .VOB files, but there is no music and I can't make it run as a complete video. This is normal also. The QT MPEG-2 Component only supports the video portion of the VOB's MPEG-2 audio/video stream. While your Mac will now support MPEG2/MP2 (.mpeg) playback, your DVD likely contains an AC3 audio data which is not QT supported at all in "muxed" compression formats and only partially supported in "frame-to-frame" compression formats when a third-party component is installed.
I was just hoping to be able to have it stored on my Mac and be able to view it. Is there a simple way to accomplish this? You have three basic options here:
    1) Since you have already copied the VIDEO_TS folder to your hard drive, you could try opening the Apple DVD Player, use the "Open DVD Media" File command to navigate to/select the VIDEO_TS folder. Then press the controller "Play" button to see if the content plays normally. (Since files are copied using handshaking error correction and data rereads, you may have a good playable copy of you disc saved already.
    2) Since you can view the video in QT, I assume all you need to do is use an MPEG based third-party application to regain the audio. As you already have the QT MPEG-2 component installed, my preference would be MPEG Streamclip (free) here. You can use the "Convert to MPEG" File menu option to change your MPEG2/AC3 main title file to MPEG/MP2 (.mpeg) file which is playable on your Mac. This conversion is very fast since the video is not re-compressed. Alternatively, you can convert the main title to a more efficient codec which is compatible with your Mac and takes up less space. Unfortunately, this requires re-compression which may take much longer to accomplish. In either case, be sure to use the "Fix Timecode Breaks" option before performing either type of conversion.
    3) Lastly, you can use an alternate media player like MPEG Streamclip or VLC for playback. Both will play the VOB AC3 audio, but only VLC has "device encoded" output support to an external decoder/powered speakers if your computer is equipped with such hardware.

  • Any simple way to do popup image view overlay in DW? Can't get pickachoose+fancybox+fluid working

    Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone knows any simple ways to create a popup over lay window like what fancybox/lightbox/shadow box does and get it to work with a Dreamwever fluid grid site?
I've got pikachoose+fancy box to run together perfectly in a plain html page, but when I bring that code into a Dreamweaver fluid grid site, the code doesn't work (well images don't cycle, and popover doesnt load when you click on the image link).
I'm guessing it's a jquery conflict of some kind.
Any help would be great, I can post the full code if someone is able to take a look. When I inspect the code in Google Chrome web inspector I get in the console:

  • IS THERE ANY SIMPLE WAY TO RETURN SPEED PERFORMANCE TO FACTORY SPEED AFTER ABOUT 3 YEARS OF RELATIVELY STANDARD USE?

Everyone is often so quick to bash all these 'cleaning' utilities but rarely give any solutions.
There's a lot of critiques and endless lists of what NOT to do to avoid performance problems.
My Powerbook is 3 years old. It runs like molasses... SLOW.
I'm not a computer geek, but I'm smart and understand quite a bit more than a newbie.
Do I need a degree in computer engineering to fix/speed up my mac?
Yes, I know, the cleaning utilities suck. But is it really true of all of them?
I'm not totally convinced because there seems to be such a huge market for them.
Sure, there's a huge market for bottled water too, so maybe they are just useless/marketing crap, but I really want to return to my original speed performance quickly and can't seem to find out if it's possible with a utility.
I'm not willing to sit down for 3 hours and study line by line b.s. about how to fix it.
I have no problem if it's not fixable. I've always assumed operating systems outgrow their hardware's capacity to keep up, and sell my old one for a new one, no prob.
I don't care, really, but again, I'm curious if there is any quick, easy, user-friendly utility or method that I can use to return the speed performance I had as recently as a year ago? (I'd be satisfied with that).
Anyone willing to bite on that? Anyone willing to not critique, complain, tell me what NOT to do and actually know a solution?
IS THERE ANY SIMPLE WAY TO RETURN SPEED PERFORMANCE BACK TO (OR CLOSE TO) ORIGINAL FACTORY SPEED AFTER ABOUT 3 YEARS OF RELATIVELY STANDARD USE?
The only thing I may have done outside of the norm was some video editing, but very little.

  • Do you know of a simple way of sorting and deleting duplicate photos on  aperture

Hi , Do you know of a simple way of sorting and then deleting duplicate photos on Apeture.
    Thanks Phil

There is no simple way. The best strategy really is to take care not to import duplicates.
What is your Aperture 3 version?
What kind of duplicates are you asking about?
If you imported exactly the same file multiple times, sorting your images in the Finder by filename or creation date will display them side by side.
If you have diferently sized versions of the same image, edited versions, or versions converted to a different format, then sorting by creation date will not help; you might try to sort by capture date, but that may fail, if there were different imezone settings when you imported the images.
You could also sort be filename, if you did not rename the images on import.
If you renamed your versions, adjusted the date, modified the file properties by writing to the original files, try to sort by other tages - faces, location, keywords.
There are some helper applications to scan your Aperture library and tag duplicates: (I have not really tested any of them)
Duplicate Annihilator (Mac) - Download  good to detect accidentally imported thumbnails
http://photosweeper.en.softonic.com/mac  : This app can actually detect edited duplicates based on statistic measures and histogram similarity.

  • Simple way to handle Exception in Biztalk 2013

    Hello Experts,
I am working with lots of Orchestration in my Biztalk application, i am using Biztalk 2013.
Can some one tell me what is simple way to chandle exception.
I am having requirement to handle exception in 1 day....
    Thanks,
    Thanks and Regards, Nilesh Thakur.

First thing One day is not enough to implement exception handling framework across your your solution. :-)
But there are so many things you need to take care, like
what you want to do with the exception messages
Do you want to re-submit a message when it has failed in exception.
how would you plan to test all these exception cases, you need to prepare all your test cases before you procced for the changes.
    anyways,
ESB Exception handling framework is the main candidate however you can use built-in throw exception shape in orchestration designer.
    There is an example
A developers guide to handling exceptions in BizTalk Server 2006/2009/2010 , have a look, you will get your solution,
    All the best.

bunch on XML code. Is there a relatively simple way to populate a List Picker field with custom entries that does not require me to know scripting or XML?
Thanks in advance for any help
    Mark

Assuming that you have created a Enumeration picker (i.e.
you used the authoring tool and dragged what it calls a list picker in, and then selected a list that you created in the authoring tool), then you can edit the contents of those Enum Lists using
the Lists view in the Library pane, or by editing the XML as in the last reference.
You might also be interested in the
Bulk Enum creation tool, which automates the process of creating that XML
