Help on asset value table

hi,
i am a abaper and need to come out a report for asset with acquisition value and depresation value. can any one please advice what table and how am i going to get the value as it is not a standard field( it is a calculate field).

Hi,
base your report on logical database ADA - like the majority of FI-AA standard repots - you get the asset value determination automatically by the logical database then.

    The background is that I`m writing a report where I have to get the value of an asset. If it is higher then 0,00 then it has to do this and if it lower than 0,00 it has to do that and so on.

    definitely table ANLC. You have to calculate the asset value as ANLC contains acquisition cost, accumulated depreciation, depr. of the actual year,...

  • Need a help to write up the asset value(Land) which is not depreciated

    My client want to write up the asset values(Land value) from 500000 to 750000. But this asset is not having any accumulated dep.
    to write up the vlaues.
    please could some one suggest how can we write up the values which are not having the accumulated dep.
    i tried through tcode ABZU but i am getting the below error.

    As per second option my client is not configured the Revaluation of assests, hence this is not applicable.
    Then as per your first option we can go ahed on this.

  • How to get Value Table values in F4 help

    Hi.
    I am creating one custom field in ORDERADM_H.
    I created it based on my own data element name.
    In that data element domain contains Value Table.
    This value table is having one field with four records.
    Now i am adding the field in the Web Ui Screen.
    But it is not at all getting F4 help.
    How i will get F4 help.
    I want my value table records in that F4 help.
    I am selecting any one then that should be placed in the Input Field.
    When i save the record the data should be stored in the Data base tables also.

    I found the reason. The function Z_WEBRFC_READ_DATA_SH had a string concatenation error.
    CONCATENATE '{"results":[{"key": "shlpname", "value": "' l_shlp '"},"key": "fieldname", "value": "' l_field '"}]}' INTO htmldoc-line.
    The correct code is like:
    CONCATENATE '{"results":[{"key": "shlpname", "value": "' l_shlp '"},{"key": "fieldname", "value": "' l_field '"}]}' INTO htmldoc-line.
    Another question is, I can't get any words in Chinese from WebRFC. It returns error when I try it. How can I configure it?

  • Value table as search help

    Hi Experts,
    I am new to WebDynpro ABAP.
    I want to assign a search help to one of the UI elements in WebDynpro ABAP component.
    The search help is attached as a value table in a domain LAND1.
    Now while creating an attribute i am creating it from a data element which is attached to this domain.
    Still i can not see the value help being shown.
    May be i am missing something.
    Can you please help me to find out what am i missing?

    For getting a search help for the drop down by key UI element, here i am mentioning the logic using the flight demo.
    1.Add attribute PLANETYPE to the context of the component controller.
    Locate the Component Controller node in the project structure that is located immediately under the component. Double click on Component Controller to open the Custom Controller editor.
    - Add attribute PLANETYPE to context node FLIGHTINFO
    Hint: Select Create Using Wizard -> Attributes form Components of Structure from context menu of node FLIGHTINFO.
    2.Navigate to the Context tab of view controller Iof your view. Choose Update Mapping from the context menu of node FLIGHTINFO to add the attribute PLANETYPE.
    3.Add Label and DropDownByKey for PLANETYPE to the layout of ur view.
    Go to tab Layout and add a label named PLANETYPE_LABEL_1 and a DropDownByKey named PLANETYPE_DROPDOWN_1 to group GROUP_1. The two new elements should be placed between the input field for the Date and the button. Bind the DropDownByKey to the context attribute PLANETYPE.
    4..Adjust component controller method FLIGHTTAB_FILL
    Navigate to the Methods tab of the component controller and double-click on the method FLIGHTTAB_FILL to open the editor.
    Adjust the method:
    - Get also the context value for PLANETYPE

    I have two tables containing same field having same domain with value table. My requirement is to restrict the values in the tables. For example the field contains 4 values:
    1) A
    2) B
    3) C
    4) D
    For table 1, only A and C should be seen in F4 and for table 2, only B and D should be seen. Also if somebody forces  B or D
    in 1st table should not be allowed and the same for 2nd table ( A & C are not allowed ). How to do this using search help exit . Which event should I use. I don't want to create two separate check tables containing only the required values.

  • Error in Asset Value carry forward to next year

    As a regular periodic process of Month/Year closing activities in SAP, Asset Year 2015 was opened and then closes the year 2014 and carried forward the Asset values to the year 2015. But unfortunately some of the Asset value had not been transferred to the year 2015. As a result, Depreciation had not been charged for those Asset for the year 2015. Need to transfer the Asset value to the current year immediately. Can any one help me regarding the problem ? The APC Start value is showing in the year 2014 but its not showing in 2015.
    The Closing value of Current APC of year 2014 does not match with the Opening value of the APC Start, so what should be the possible reasons for that ?

    I did that on last January 2015. First i use the T-code: AJRW for the Fiscal Year Change and then T-code: AJAB - for Year end-closing Asset Accounting as i did that for last 4 years. Though there was as error message indicating error in depreciation calculation, our consultant assured me that that will not create any problem. The Error was like below:

  • Asset value date in Internal order settlement ko88

    Hi.
    I have posted some expenses to the internal order. I m trying to settle it to AUC with tcode KO88.
    In the selection screen of ko88 i gave asset value date as 15.07.2011 but system is posting with month end date only as 31.07.2011.
    I read the sap note 98496. In that its mentioned that the asset value date given in settlement parameters will override the asset value date given in the selection screen of ko88.
    I tried to update the AUC asset value date in KO02 where we give settlement rules but i couldnt find any field there.
    Where do i update the AUC asset value date in settlement parameters. Can anyone provide me the tcode and the field where i update this asset value date.

  • Recalculate sum of More than One Asset asset values

    Hi Team,
    Can you please guide whether there exists any T-code through which we can  Recalculate  sum of more than One Asset values  at single point of time.
    ex: iif we go asset master (AS02), in the Edit tab,recalucates values, in the asset master we can do only one single asset,
    but as we required do the recalculate asset values at a time more than one asset.
    Please let us know is there any t.code ?

    Hi Ram,
    What you the system does in AS02 Menu: 'Edit - Recalculte values' is exactly the same what AFAR does. The difference is, in AS02 you only recalculate the values for that very asset. But all values that need value recalculated and updated will get adjusted when executing this step. So, if you have made a posting to the asset that for any reason did not update the table yet, and therefore is not reflected in the Asset Explorer, you can first simulate a recalculation for this asset and see what would be the new update of values. Then when you go to AS02 Menu: 'Edit - Recalculte values' the system will actually adjust the values in real time. Same is when you make a change to e.g. depreciation key, it will require an adjustment of values and a recalculation will do that.
    So, whether you use AS02 for the single asset or use AFAR - the system does exactly the same.
    The difference is however, that in AFAR, you recalculate the values for ALL the assets in that company code. For example, it is recommended that before you do the depreciation run or periodic posting run at the end of each period, that you ran also the recalculation program RAAFAR00 for the company code, so that any value adjustment/changes in values will be captured before running depreciation or periodic postings.
    I hope this clarifies. Please also check on the online documentation in help.sap.com for more information.
    Else, if you need to adjust other values on the asset and it is not about recalculating values, then you can use a write-up/unplannded depreciation (check it out under Easy Access Menu: Manual Value Correction) or maybe you can use the transaction for miscellanious ABSO.

  • How to populate Value in Pop Up Via Value table

    Hi Experts,
    I have created one Zfield and assign it to a structure . Then structure is mapped to its corresponding Field group .  I have provided the value table to the Domain of the same Zfield . But at the execution the F4 pop up is appearing but the data (From the Value table) is not populating in the pop up.
    Kindly let me know the procedure to populate the data in popup via Value table....
    Though i know that for some standard fields like Country and Region, already the standard domain LAND1 is provided with the value table T005 and it works fine.
    Kindly suggest. Points will be rewarded for every helpful sugesstion.

    In the fieldgrop structure for this field, fill in the field INPUT HELP as VALUE_TABLE and generate the layout. The values will appear in F4 now.

  • Problem in Asset value calculation ... ANEP and ANLC

    We have a problem in calculation of the Fixed Asset values. Please see the link below for the problem. Technically it sums up like transaction values are available in the table ANEP but ANLC table is with the wrong value, Some of the transactions are not reflecting in the calculations of planned values for some of the Assets.

    We develop and implemented a functionality with the next
    characteristics:
    a. When we ran the MIRO transaction to a fixed asset situation, a
    substitution in accounting documents (using a user-exit ) determines
    the profit center to the fixed asset and insert the line
    item in a custom table.
    b. The custom program identifies all pending line items for processing
    (via custom table) and, for each fixed asset identified, reverse the
    original accounting document, and post the fixed asset in the profit
    center '04219CL000'. To do this movement between the profit
    center '04106CL000' and '04219CL000' the custom program uses a zero
    balance account.
    c. First of all, the custom program set the Field <negative values>
    (BAPI1022_DEP_AREAS- NEG_VALUES) using the function
    BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CHANGE. Later the custom program post the accounting
    document using the function BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST;
    d. In less than 1% of the cases the fixed asset posted in this process
    it seems with a problem: the asset line itens (transactions  - ANEP
    table) where correct posted but the fixed asset acquisition values
    (ANLC table) where posted in a wrong way (it's initialized - without
    any value sometime or not summing up some transaction values properly).
    e. Our custom program does not update any field value on the asset.
    All the modifications on the asset are being made by the standard
    functions above.

    the problem is: Does anybody give you the correct value for each part?
    If you know the value for each part you can use transaction ABUMN to transfer values from one asset to a new asset. With this transaction you can create a new asset. And you can make a partial transfer.
    If you use this transaction you can simulate before you transfer it.
    But as I said the problem is to find out the correct value. In germany for example we have to activate all in one fixed asset (computer with cbu )

  • Asset Value Date determination during settlement from Orders or WBS!

    Hi,
    I have a scenario on the asset value date and I am not sure what went wrong, asset side or CO side.
    The scenario is as following:
    1. Asset was converted into the system by 7/31/2008 with $10000.
    2. The capitalized on date is 2/29/2008 on the asset master data.
    3. On 8/31/ 2008, I charged $300 to an internal order and settled the $300 to this asset. The Asset Value Date on the Asset Explorer is 8/15/2008.
    4. On 9/30/2008, I charged #500 to the same internal order and settled the $500 to this asset, the Asset value date on the asset explorer for this charge is still 8/15/2008.
    This messed up the depreciation of this asset. Does anyone know how to control the asset value date from the settlement? Do we need to config in Asset side or in Order side? I want the $300 charge's value date is on 8/15/2008 and $500 value date on 9/15/2008. Is this possible?

    In the settlement you can fill in the asset values date.
    The first posting is the basis for capitalization date(when you don't fill it in manual), when you fill it in for the second time the Asset Value Date it is no longer relefant.
    This is only important when you have say in your depreciation key that the depreciation is based on days( see the help on this field)
