Help on Identifying the FM to save Skills information
Hi,
I am doing a custom application for skills profile in Portal and am trying save the skills which has been entered in an iview, with info like Skill and Proficiency..I could find out the standard function modules related to Skills, there is one with a name "SAVE". When I looked into that it has only one Import parameter as Pernr. Now am not able to save the skills which I have from the iview. Kindly help me with the function module and how to use that.
I have listed down the function modules which I found are related to Skills:
XSS_SKL_APPLY_QUALI_PROFILE
XSS_SKL_CONFIRMATION_DATA
XSS_SKL_DELETE_QUALI_PROFILE
XSS_SKL_DEQUEUE_PERSON
XSS_SKL_GET_PROFILE_OVERVIEW
XSS_SKL_GET_QUALI_CATALOG
XSS_SKL_GET_QUALI_DETAIL_DATA
XSS_SKL_INITIALIZE_DATA
XSS_SKL_PRINT_PROFILE
XSS_SKL_READ_EXPIRING_SKILLS
XSS_SKL_READ_LAST_EDITOR
XSS_SKL_SAVE_PROFILE
XSS_SKL_SEARCH_FOR_QUALI
Thanks,
Madhu
Madhu,
This may seem a bit obvious, and you may have already tried it, but.......
Why not try running the standard Skills iView with an RFC trace in the backend system (transaction ST05), and see what functions are used on saving a record?
Regards,
John

Need help in identifying the reason my MacBook (late 2008) is slow?
Hello to all...
I have had my MacBook since I graduated high school and have never had a single problem with it. Here more recently (a year or so), it has been slowing down incredibly just trying to play videos or opening up more than one tab in my browser (safari or chrome). I also cannot seem to open more than one application at a time on my computer without the whole computer locking up.
Here are my MacBook's specifications:
MacBook (13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008)
Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk Macintosh HD
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
13.3-inch (1280x800)
Macintosh HD
102.44 GB free of 159.18 GB
Your Mac contains 2 memory slots, each of which accepts
a 1067 MHz DDR3 memory module.
All memory slots are currently in use.
I have included screenshots of my Activity Monitor window to further answer any questions I thought might arise.
This MacBook has been through a lot with me, I have already used a program to wipe all "unneeded" programs from my MacBook. It seemed to get slightly faster, but I am sure this is partially a placebo effect. At this point I have looked into just getting a new computer, but this one was a gift and I still to this day have no where near enough money to buy a new MacBook. I am very one sided for Apple, as I have had several Windows and just didn't have as much luck with them. None have lasted near as long as this computer and I plan to keep it going for as long as it can.
If you have ANY questions for me feel free to ask, I can try to answer to my best knowledge. I am not a big computer person, so any technical language would be greatly appreciated if it were slightly translated for me. I hope this is a well enough composed forum entry to answer without too much trouble. Thanks for any and all help.2GB of RAM isn't enough for Yosemite. Here are the options you have (doing all of them is really going to help, but doing 1 of them will help too):
Add RAM if your Mac supports it
Downgrade the OS back to mavericks or mountain lion (Note however that this is not supported by Apple)
(if you do not want to do the latter) : Run a clean install of Yosemite.
Change the Drive for an SSD (a 128GB SSD costs about 100$). -
Help with identifying the Model of a Toshiba satellite
I have a Toshiba Satellite
I believe this is a A105, but don't know the full model number.
I ran Belarc Advisor. It did not give the full model.
Thanks, BobHello Robert.
If per chance you are Canadian, go to the Toshiba.ca site and let it identify your model automatically. I had to do this as mine, like yours, might not be listed on the .com site.
.ca vs .com ! -

Need Help to identify the server hardware high level details
Hi All,
I have browsed and i couldn't find the high level hard ware details.
Can any one help me to take the below hardware HIGH level details of the sun solaris server machine.
1.CPU processor name.
2.CPU processor speed.
3.Total RAM size
4.Overall hard disk space.
Thanks in Advance,
SenthurHello chandandascyr07. I don't think Linksys will be able to provide you the GPIO data since it's basically a proprietary company information.

I have some unknown Itunes charges on my credit card that I have been busting my brains on getting an answer. I HATE not getting to talk to a real person!!!! Same amount Charges show three consecutive days but does NOT show on my itunes purchase history. Suggestions greatly appreciated. A hammer to smash the computer would help too.
If they don't show on your purchase history on your account then have you have you added or changed your credit card details on your account - when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) ? If not then you could contact iTunes Support via this page and see if they can see what they are for : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

If some of the features on the tutorial are not new, I didn't know about them and have never used them. The video moved along very quickly. I found it difficult to keep up. I couldn't find the "Firefox button" referred to in the instructions. It seems there a lot of great features available that I would like to use. I don't like Safari or IE. I much prefer Firefox, but I need clearer guidance. Thank you for any help you might offer.
You have no Firefox Menu button on a Mac.<br />
The Firefox button is only available on Windows and Linux and shows when the Menu bar is hidden.<br />
On Mac the menu bar is maintained by the Mac OS and not by Firefox and the Menu bar is always visible and can't be hidden, so there is no need for such a menu button.<br /> -
Please help me identify the filters used in this image
Hey there folks!
I currently have a contract with a lingerie company, who want me to make a collage quite similar to the following image, which they have provided me with. Mine will be obviously much different, but the same idea...a little boutique shop front but with Paris in the backgrounds etc with one colour and lots of glowing lights and stars.
What I am wondering, as I am quite new to Photoshop collages (I usually use it for retouching images etc), is how was this image put together, what kind of effects were used? How many different images have been used in this one?
So far I have a street lamp, a shop front, a girl, and an image of Paris at night. I'm especially unsure about how to do that circular gradient around the image - and the company are absolutely mad for it!
Thanks so much folks! What I am wondering, as I am quite new to Photoshop collages (I usually use it for retouching images etc), is how was this image put together, what kind of effects were used? How many different images have been used in this one?
The image is a bit small to judge, but it could have been shot with the lamp and storefront as props on a reflective flooring and even the background might have been in the studio – the last one I doubt, though, because it does not reflect in the floor.
Anyway, if you do make a montage I personally find it important to
• combine the parts as Smart Objects,
• do the object-clipping with Layers Masks in the Smart Objects and
• use Adjustment Layers for color corrections.
As for
glowing lights and stars
stars are fairly easily faked (if one has low enough standards) with a white Solid Color Layer set to Blend Mode Dissolve and the Opacity and Fill Opacity reduced accordingly; for different sizes convert to Smart Object, duplicate and upscale.
Glows can be done various ways. For example making a SO-duplicate, using the Filters Maximum and Gaussian Blur and setting the layer to Blend Mode Screen (if necessary use the Blend If-settings to limit the effect). -
Can anyone help me identify the cause of this nick (scatch)?
I discovered something strange this morning.....I found a nick (or scratch) at the very hidden area on the Book. It's on the very bottom side lower left corner of the screen, which seats below the "gap" area, right on top of the lower left corner of the bolt on the screen.
I have never taken the computer outdoor....it works like a desktop since I bought new, and nothing seems have got to it, because it's very hidden
Even the USB ports, which I have plug/unplug cables many times, don't even have any marks
The spot is so tight that nothing can easily get to it, I even have trouble to try to get my fingers over it and feel the scratch...
But, I was able to feel it....it appears like something sticking up....like the skin of the metal gets peeled up, or a deep scratch
Here're two pictures:

Help to Identify the peace of code Causing - ORA-01410: invalid ROWID
Hi I have Plsql Block that runs monthly and process 10 million records and every once in a while it fails with the ORA-01410: invalid ROWID Error ,last month it failed two times with same error ,if any one could point me what is wrong this code ,i will work on it to fix. if you see the code we have exceptio n block at the end of the code ,we have procedure that inserts a record into log table ,so both the failures had inserted a record into the table that means it failed before it entered into for loop.
my question is can Fech statement cause invalid rowid.
