You have to do Fault message implementation in this case...
A no. of exception will be there.For any error proxy will catch the exception and will write it in the fault message...so....from r/3 response will go to Xi as Fault message response in case any error/exception occours......

that issue is resolved and now it is showing Black & white flag in the sxmb_moni in 001 client

Regarding ABAP Proxy : on a different client on XI Box

I was referring to this thread
Has anyone generated server proxy on XI box??
where Michal has answered saying it is possible to have ABAP Proxies in XI box if its a separate client.
Does anyone have experience of doing this, what are the setup steps ?

yeah its possible if you have two clients of XI server,one client can act as ABAP proxy client and the other one can be the XI server .

Need some help regarding Client Proxy generation and test via SOAMANAGER

Hello,
we are integrating a 3rd party Java client via webservices.
For that matter I generated a client proxy (consumer proxy) in se80 using the existing WSDL.
This worked fine.
The I wanted to create a logical port.
Since this is only possible in SOAMANAGER I tried it there.
Trying to do this automatically by the given WSDL file didn't work. The system dumps.
So, I tried the manual approach by entering the server name and path in the 'Transport settings' tab.
Now I wanted to test this.
Unfortunately the test function in se80 (Proxy->Test) doesn't show a positive result.
I always get an error
SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response:
ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED")
So, I am kind of stuck here.
Do you guys have any idea what's wrong (approach, settings, bugs)?.
I tested the webservices with a test application (soapUI), and they work fine.
So it seems to be a problem in the proxy framework or a network problem?
I really appreciate any kind of help.

yes i have loaded the certificate in strust.
i am getting the response also from the web service. as Security requirements are not satisfied because the security header is not present in the incoming message.
i need to pass the user name and password while using the method.wsse security.wld u have any clue?

ABAP Proxy, Help needed regarding Naming Conventions

Hi,
I have made a ABAP Proxy Scenario to a File Service. The Objects have been created in the INTEGRATION REPOSITORY and the Configurations are made in INTEGRATION DIRECTORY. While Creating the PROXIES executing the TCode "SPROXY", the Proxies for the DATA TYPE and the MESSAGE TYPE are being created successfully but the Proxy for the Outbound MESSAGE INTERFACE is not getting created.
The Error says the Name must begin with 'CO_'. All the Objects that have been created by me begin with "Z_", and I have also made a Custom Package called "ZPROXY" and assigned this package . The error says Naming Errors.
Can anyone please help me out on this.
 The Proxy Class that is being generated starts with "CO_" and so checking out in SE24, it says Object does not exist.
So please tell me how I can go about Correcting this.

Thanx a lot for ur reply UDO...but this is not solving my Problem, actually when I am trying to Create the Proxy for the Outbound Message Interface, it is automatically Prefixing the "CO_". Thus I cannot Save it after this and also not see it in SE24.
A few more details:

The Outbound Message Interface name that I have used is "Z_ABAP_PROXY_MSG_INTERFACE"
We i Create it Prefixes a "CO_" before the Interface name and it cannot be saved or seen in SE24.
Do provide me with some Help.

Client ABAP proxy error handling. Please help!

   I have following scenario:
   SAP ECC (ABAP Client Proxy) -> PI(XI)-->(SOAP) Third party web service System
   This is Asynchronous.
   What will happen when ABAP client Proxy in ECC sends data to PI but PI is down?
   Will the message be queued in ECC? Can the queued message be processed automatically when PI is UP later?
   Please help.

Hi,
   You can call a method of a class from BADI. Here are the steps.
   1) In the BADI implementation create a object for the proxy class.
   2) Call the Execute_Synchronous method.
    You can define a BADI by using SE18 and you can implement it by using SE19.

ABAP Proxy creation doubt - Pls Help

 as per the previous replies , we have to generate proxiy from R3 syetm . But in this weblog they are generating from XI server ?
 The have doubt in the following passges
1.
We use two clients of XI here. Client 100 acts as XI server .Client 105 acts as a client ABAP proxy which sends employee information as a message to XI which routes the info to a file. Logical flow is depicted as shown below. Note that conversion of sending system format to XI specific format is not done at the outbound side of the XI server.

 a. i have webAS 6.40 . i have R3 6 . So i can generate proxy from R3 it self right ? then how to procedd further .
 b. So Proxy and report to call proxy also from R3 SIDE ?
 c. If No sender agreement required then in IR only receiver determination and receiver agreement is enough ?
 d. Then in receiver Detrmination , do i need to give Business system as sender service ?
 
 can u please explain this a little bit more ?

we have to generate proxiy from R3 syetm . But in this weblog they are generating from XI server ?
 In this blog, Ravi has taken two different clients in the same system. As the abap code is client independent so it can be generated anywhere irrespective of clients. But while executing the report we cannot do it from the same client as of the IS.So we need to trigger the report from the client 105 which is considered as the client proxy.
check Triggering ABAP PROXY in the blog.
c. If No sender agreement required then in IR only receiver determination and receiver agreement is enough ?
 Yes.
d. Then in receiver Detrmination , do i need to give Business system as sender service ?
You can create business system for the R/3 and use it in RD.But the business system dont have any sender communication channel and no need of sender agreement as the data will directly hit the IE of XI.

Help regarding calling BRFPLUS function through ABAP code

      I have a situation where I have to input data into a BRFPLUS function as a table (i.e the data is input as select options where list or range of data can be provided).The corresponding output is also in the form a table .I've created this function in BRFPLUS and is working fine .Now I have to call it through ABAP code.Can someone kindly provide me with the probable code for this scenario.
E.g:
        ZT_MATNR is the table in brfplus representing the list of MATNR values input along with other such inputs to function module Z_FM
        ZT_ATM   is the resultant output table of the function which contains several fields.
Now I have to call this BRFPLUS function with help of ABAP code.Could someone kindly help.

There should be a number of BRF+ tutorials available in SCN which discuss the FDT APIs. You can have a look at them to get an idea of the various APIs available and their uses.
For your usecase, you should do the following.
        lo_fdt_function         TYPE REF TO if_fdt_function,
        lo_fdt_result           TYPE REF TO if_fdt_result,
* Get function handle
      CALL METHOD lo_fdt_factory->get_function
        EXPORTING
          iv_id       = lv_function_id
        RECEIVING
          ro_function = lo_fdt_function.
where lv_function_id is the GUID of the BRF+ function . You can either make it a constant , or you can use a FDT API to get the function GUID from the BRF+ application name and function name.
*   Set function context
    TRY.
        CALL METHOD lo_fdt_context->set_value
          EXPORTING
            iv_id    =
            ia_value =
This is one way to set the input context ( pass the input to the BRF+ function to process ). There are other ways to do this as well. Which one you use would depend on the kind of input you want to pass.
* Execute BRFPLUS function
TRY.
      CALL METHOD lo_fdt_function->process
        EXPORTING
          io_context = lo_fdt_context
        IMPORTING
          eo_result = lo_fdt_result.
* Get result output
TRY.
      CALL METHOD lo_fdt_result->get_value

Another direct way of doing it would be to use the method PROCESS of the class CL_FDT_FUNCTION_PROCESS.
I have not gone into much explaination here , but it should provide you an idea of how you can go about it.Read the SCN docs on the APIs to get a better idea , or better still if you can get hold of a copy of the BRF+ book by Carsten Ziegler , you will get an end to end explaination of all BRF+ APIs in it.
