Help! seriously heavy processor issues for 'no reason'

hi guys, i've inherited an AS3 project now compiled in FlashBuilder4
it's and Away3D / AwayBuilder based project which i've updated but the problem is that it isn't overly complicated but something within it is killing the memory and processors.
I've currently running a 4Gb Win7 7x processor machine
Once initialised in a 'static' non interactive, non video state it's using 20% memory and the equiv of 3 full processors.
when i activate a tween (simple carousel) that shoots up to aroudn 60% of RAM and equiv of 5 processors.
Is there a way I can identify what scripts are running?
active objects?
don't know, I'm not a flash guru so any advice would be gratefully recieved as at the moment i'm just turning scripts on and off.

also the memory alocation in the Task Manager keeps growing even when nothing (that I can tell) is being instantiated, loaded opr tweened etc

Help serious Audio rendering issues within final cut pro

I have some serious audio issues I am using Final cut 6.05. Here is my problem I am putting a AUParametricEq filter on my audio due wind noise etc. Anyway when i play it back on the time line it plays fine no problems but as soon final cut renders the file say for mastering to tape. at some point at the audio the audio goes all haywire, popping sounds or the audio just repeats it self at one frame or i can here audio from other parts of the timeline. And it just happened before i never had the issue. Is it the update. Hope anybody can help as I need to master about 6 projects to tape to clean my harddrives and all 6 projects have the same issue.

Are your audio files AIFF 48K 16 bit?

Close Final Cut Pro.
Go to: Users/your user name/Library/Preferences.
Drag, "com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist" to the trash.
Scroll down to the Final Cut Pro User Settings folder.
Drag, "Final Cut Pro 6 Preferences" to the trash.
Drag, "Final Cut Pro Obj Cache" to the trash
Drag, "Final Cut Pro POA Cache" to the trash.
Go to: Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
Select your system disk
Click on the Repair Permissions button
Wait for the permissions to be repaired
Restart your computer

Need help to resolve the issue for DW4

when i set up my manage site using php and mysql local server environment it give me an erro saying unidentified error has occur. then when i do them manually i get the connection but my table list do not show at all on my db connection listings.

Macbook help - power keeps cutting out for no reason - please help

my macbook will sometimes just randomly turn off even though i have full power or enough power to run.
if i try to turn it back on it will just go off again unless i let it 'rest' for a bit, maybe five minutes.
then it will just work again and i'll eventually enounter this problem again from an hour to two days later
at the moment it's annoying as the worst that has happened is my work not being saved (word recovers the document anyway) and this happening multiple times when i was trying to import a cd.
although just annoying, i fear it could lead to something worst.
please help

Since you are having random shutdowns, and you mention that you have to wait awhile to turn it back on, I suspect that the computer is overheating and shutting itself off. The computer is then waiting until it cools down enough to allow you to turn it back on.
This was a fairly common issue when the macbooks were first released. Apple released a firmware update that resolves this. The firmware update improves the computers internal monitoring system so that the fans kick on earlier and prevent your computer from getting to the point where it shuts down due to thermal issues.
As previous posters have already suggested, go to the apple icon in the upper left hand corner of your screen and select "software update." Install any firmware updates that appear. Please note that the firmware update may not appear in this list of updates if your operating system is not 10.4.6 or higher.

Help! powerbook went dead for no reasons

Yesterday i was just doing my regular maintance routine for my powerbook. Repair permission, run system janitor. After that i just use my powerbook to play music, and i fall asleep. after i woke up, the music no longer running, and the spinning wheel displayed. I notice there was a very loud spinning noice comming from inside of the powerbook. Before the hard crash my powerbook didn't make such noice. I tried to get in the (forgot the name, but it's the place where you can see how many application your system are running and kill the application at will), but i can't even get into that application. so i restarted.
Now my powerbook just got to the grey apple logo with the spinning wheel. it no longer doing anything. I tried to use the installation disk but the screen kind of flahes two or three times, and end up at the grey apple logo as well.
I back my my system regularly with a Lacie External drive, but i forgot how to switch to boot with the lacie drive instead. i am afraid it was the hard drive that failed. I had the powerbook for around 3.5 years. If my powerbook's hd does failed, can i use my Lacie to boot and work? I need my powerbook to do most of my work. Please help, kinda freaking out here... thanks alot!!!

More than likely it does. Can you verify the S.M.A.R.T. status of your drive?
It is good that you have a bootable clone with a relatively recent backup. You can try replacing the drive yourself, if you feel comfortable with the tools, but only you know your capabilities.

HELP! iPod Shuffle Pauses for no reason!

Ive had my iPod shuffle around 6 months and around a week ago it randomly started pausing frequently half way through songs without my command. It just suddenly has outbursts of pausing and keeps pausing and as soon as I press play it pauses again until finally i give up and switch it off.
Ive tried updating it and charging it fully but no luck.
Anyone know whats wrong? Is the battery dying?

iPod Shuffle

It might be a dirty headphone socket. The iPod shuffle will enter pause if it detects that the headphone plug has been removed and I suspect that if the contacts becomes defective or dirty it could cause symptoms like you describe.
I'd try a series of rapid insertions and removals of the headphone plug to see if that might clean the switch or contacts. Also, I'm pretty certain that earlier versions of the shuffle firmware didn't have this headphone auto pause feature so if you could find a copy of the old firmware that might fix your problem.

Help with a CS2 issue

hey there. I have a strange issue going on with my Photoshop CS2. When I open the program and begin to work with my image the program closes without any warning. I have never had any issues before and have done high quality graphics before with it. My current project is a poster for work that is 20 x 30. I tried at 300 and 200 dpi. When I start anything after the original layer it just closes. Is is because of the size? DPI? know the file size is a little larger than normal but to crash right off seemed kind of strange. I included my computer info so I hope that helps and if this has been mentioned before - newbie I apologize.

First of all, you should update your OS to service Pack 2 and then apply the other updates that have come out since then.
Try resetting your preferences. There are several ways to do this; the simplest is: Immediately after clicking to open Photoshop, press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift; if you get a dialog about your preferences, tell it to delete or clear them, after which Photoshop will open. If you don't get the dialog, you weren't fast enough. Some people find that it helps to press and hold Ctrl+Shift down before clicking, then immediately pressing Alt in addition.
If you have reset your preferences and still have the problem, you can try doing a repair install; if that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling (which doesn't take long for PSCS2 and is no big deal).
Let us know what happens.

After that, if you don't want to user Sync in your computer, you can stop it with this simple steps:
* At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.

HT1349 Need help to solve an issue with itunes home sharing. It would started downloading my library from another laptop but would stop for no reason and not show me what still needed downloading or give me the choice to import the data in my library.

For some reason itunes will not even open It is asking me to reinstall? PLease advise. I do not want to loose all of my music, apps, video etc help!

Can someone help with itunes, for some reason all of a sudden my iteunes will not open. It wants me to reinstall.
