Help with not visible folders in app iFiles

I have a strange probleme: connecting my iPad to the PC and startin iTunes, I checked the documents present into the app iFiles.
Among this documents there is a folder called "inbox" containing a 2.9Gb mp4 file that i want to delete.
The problem is that the folder is only visible in itunes on the PC and not directly on the iPad and that it seems not possible to delete it in iTunes.
Is I click on the folder in the documents list in itunes and press the button canc un the pc keybord, iTunes ask me if I am sure to delete the folder, I click yes but the folder remain in place.
It is a big prolem because I need to free that memory space.

they are seeing the application in planning. they created a scenario dimension containing , budget, actual and forecast.. but in the planing application they can only see budget. the rest 2 are not visible.

Please cross check once these:
01. In Login path ( above) CV details, check - in to which Application you've created BPF.
02. Select your BPF name among the list,
03. If you do not find the BPF name, please give the Full Member access to the BPF.
04. Close the Application totally and again relogin in to application and go through Excel Interface duly selecting your BPF

Why is de help/information button not visible in the off-line version. The web-based version is oké. In use Adobe Accrobat version XI.

Need help with missing hotmail folders?

I'm missing folders from Hotmail when moving into Mail on my iMac using 10.8. The Hotmail inbox comes up, but not other folders that I've created. I also have an iPad; all the foldes came up in it. Does anyone have a clue?

I think I must have done something wrong. I printed out your instructions, then quit Safari and did as directed, after which both the "Old Safari" and the new Safari folder (with the old files dragged to it) appeared in ~Library/. Since the Old Safari folder was now empty, I put it in Trash, then opened Safari again--and discovered that all my bookmarks were gone (Preferences were exactly as before).
Thinking I could just put things back the way they were, I quit Safari and copied the files in the new "Safari" folder, then pulled "Old Safari" out of Trash, placed the originals back in "Old Safari," and renamed it "Safari," as before. (I renamed the new Safari file, which now contains the copies, "Safari-Copy.") However, the bookmarks didn't reappear in the application.
Hoping I could restore them from the Library folder, I looked for "Import" in the File menu because I had just imported my bookmarks to a new MacBook with OS 10.4, but I guess OS 10.3.9 doesn't have that feature. I can restore the bookmarks manually from the other computer, but it will take a long time. Do you know if there's a way to undo whatever I did wrong and get my bookmarks back?

HELP-imovie not visible...

imovie starts and the icon appears in the dock and menu bar.... but the actual application window is not visible... most options in the menu bar are grey out... i tired to restore imovie from time machine and that didnt fix the program.. i need imovie for a project ASAP...please help!!

TV shows not visible in videos app on iPhone

I have an iPhone 3gs with ios 5.1. I have downloaded tv shows direct from itunes to the phone. However they don't display in the video app. I plug my phone into my Imac and the tv shows are listed as being on my phone. If I change the catergoy of the tv shows using the option tab to music video- they appear on my phone instantly.
What am I doing wrong that they don't show as TV shows?

Quit the Videos app completely and then go back and look again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Or try this, if that didn't work.
Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.

Need help with languages issue in iOS app created in Flash Pro CS5.5

I'm using Flash Pro CS5.5 on a Mac running Snow Leopard to create an iOS app by publishing with 'AIR for iOS' from inside Flash Pro. Everything works great except after I submit my app to the Apple App Store and it is approved, the App Store listing claims that the app is available in a ton of different languages including English, German, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, etc. Since this app is a word game and all the words are in English, this is a pretty significant issue.
If I view the binary details for the app in iTunes Connect, it shows that localizations are active for all of the different languages. This information is read from the .ipa file that is submitted.
If I unzip the .ipa file, I can see that folders have been created for all of the localizations (i.e. en.lproj, es.lproj, fr.lproj, etc.). If I delete any of those folders, the .ipa will give me a 'resources modified' error at install.
I have also tried setting the plist attribute 'CFBundleLocalizations' to 'English' by editing the 'app.xml'. I have verified that the attribute has been changed correctly but it does not solve the issue. All of the localizations are still active.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help with Two Document folders w/ same contents

Could use some help.......
I migrated from an older Mac to a new Mac about a month ago. At the same time I moved from Leopard to Snow Leopard. I used the Migration Assistant except for applications which I reinstalled from scratch (except preferences, etc. which were migrated).
In doing so I ended up, unbeknownst to me, with my documents both in the root level Documents folder ( /Documents) and in "my" user Documents folder (/Users/my/Documents). At least I assume that this happened during migration.
Today I found this out and, very unfortunately for me, that some of my Spotlight launches and subsequent file edits have not been to my Document files but to the duplicate ones at the root level.
I need to correct this, then delete those unwanted/unneeded duplicates and then block Spotlight from accessing that folder just in case something gets put there in the future.
With that as background my questions:
1. What are default post-install root (computer HD) level folders? Want to make sure no other errors. The folders I have are:
Applications
Desktop Folder
dev-1 (note: locked)
Documents
Library
System
User Guides and Information (note: alias)
Users
2. Is there an Apple utility or other way to compare this root level Documents folder with the users/my/Documents folder to determine what might have changed in the former when it should have been a change to the later?
3. Do those who use Spotlight frequently recommend privacy setting blocks beyond external drives? That has been my setting but now I feel I need to increase the privacy blocks.

A Documents folder at the root may come from an old OS 9 system which did have a Documents folder at the root. In OS X your Documents folder is in the Home folder (Users/urshortname/Documents/.)
OS X has only the following root folders visible:
Applications
Library
System
Users
If you want to view the contents of the root level Documents folder just double-click on it to open a Finder window on the contents. There is no built-in folder comparison utility but there are third-party utilities you can find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate. Or just open a second window on the /Home/Documents/ folder and put them side by side.
I'm not sure I understand what you men by privacy blocks that you would need to create. Maybe you could clarify.

Please help with my iphone 4 ipod app?

Hi everyone, I am having problems with playing podcasts and music on my iphone 4 (IOS 4.3.5 8L1). The symptom is that the podcast skips or doesn't play at all. Music is similar.
I have had the phone replaced by Apple once, and have been to the genius bar 3 times and spent hours on the phone to Apple support.
I have done DFU restores on the phone and downloaded the entire IOS update several times, the firewall, AV and ad aware all disabled on the computer (windows 7 BTW) during the download of both the IOS and subsequent podcasts.
Directly after a DFU and with no apps installed, sample podcasts (that had experienced problems) seem to be OK. I then installed the apps one at a time and tested the podcasts in between, I installed the 6 apps I find most useful. I then downloaded more podcasts and the problem returned after the ipod app on the phone "lost" some podcasts that were shown as being on the phone in iTunes. Resyncing meant that the podcasts were shown but the problem of skipping etc. had returned.
Today I went through the same process and got the same result, but with different podcasts. Similarly, the ipod app "lost" some podcasts before resyncing corrected that part but started the "skipping" fault.
Other things I have done:
The podcasts all play correctly on iTunes, and also on my iPod.
I have downloaded the entire podcast library several times to eliminate the remotest possibility that they are corrupt (this would manifest by them not playing correctly in iTunes/iPod I would imagine as well).
I have had a iPhone 3GS for a while and also an iPod, so I am familiar with the products, and never had a problem.
I have logged a case with Apple and am now at my wits end, because it seems that getting any sort of ownership is a real problem.
Any suggestions on what else I can do?

Display image issues
This can include bright or dark pixels, lines in video, or sections of video missing.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Verify the issue is not content related, by viewing different content.
If the image is too dark, adjust the brightness. In General Settings choose Brightness and Wallpaper and slide the slider.
Issue not resolved

Help with iTunes Compilation folders

I need help dealing with having too many compilation folders in the compilation folder. I have 83 folders that are in the compilation folder and they are named after the album title. I'm wanting them in the artists respective folders at the root of iTunes Music directory.
Is there any suggestions for this?

I'm trying to sort this out and decide to have those albums as compilations or various artists. It seems that ones that are compilations but not checked as being part of a compilation has Various Artist in the Album Artist field.
Not sure how to handle this. Or just leave it alone. What is best? I do rip alot of CD's with multiple artists on them. For example, the Time-Life Rock N' Roll Era series & Film Soundtrack albums.
Is having them in the Compilation Folder a bad thing? Should I avoid that? Or should I continue to do this. And what about the Various Artist Folder? Yes, I have iTunes manage my music and copies automatically...etc. I never interface with the folders iTunes creates. I always work within iTunes. Seems that's the way it's suppose to be. I hope I haven't confused everyone. Your responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Help with setting/getting variables in app

Hi,
I have an application which behaves in the following manner:
1. User logs in.
2. User is presented with a list of projects; user clicks on a project to drill down to that project.
3. User is presented with project information which includes 4 separate lists of tasks grouped by week. So there are tasks for the current week the user is in plus task for the 3 weeks out.
4. User can edit talks or create new ones for each of the 4 weekly groupings.
Given that, on the main page for a project I have set up a report and form for each of the weekly groupings. I also have an item for the project id as well as each weekly grouping id. The goal there is that when a user clicks the "create" button they can create a new task for the appropriate weekly group. However, this isn't working.
For the first weekly group when I click "create" I'm presented with the form to fill out for the task. All of the info is there, including the correct id for that weekly group so the task gets assigned to it properly. However, when I save I get an error which says that particular id is null.
For the next three groups when I click "create" I'm given the same thing as above but without the id for the weekly group. Even if I set it and save things I'm getting the same error.
So, I'm wondering what I've done wrong in the app flow. Am I setting these variables too early, too late? Am I really not picking them up in spite of what I see on my screen? Have I missed some fundamentals of Apex here?

Help with JMX, SNMP in my app.

My app has bunch of EJBs(in Jars) and one WAR file. Everything is packaged inside EAR file. My app is using JDBC and IMAP connections. Currently SNMP implementation is very simple - we jsut sending fixed trap with variable VarBind information.(no set/get functionality). Please elt me know if somebody implemented MBeans for their application. We are planning to have a full set/get functionality with MIB defined through SNMP Agent on WLS. IS it possible? I would like to hear some ideas on how to implement it.

client manager. I know sets cannot be done to WL MBeans using the
WebLogic SNMP Service. I see two ways
to go, run an AdventNet or Sun SNMP adapter in each WL Server which will

SNMP requests to the MBeanServer or run my own SNMP agent which is
proxied from
the WL SNMP agent. The WL SNMP agent does not allow sets, will it
forward set commands
to other SNMP agents it is proxying for?

if you want to write custom MBeans to monitor things, you certiainly can by registering your notificationListener on the mbean...
I dont think, it would be possible to monitor a custom MBean through SNMP.

The problem I am having is that every couple of uses the app will crash and the error code in xcode is :
objc[7543]: Object 0x100506980 of class __NSCFString autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking - break on objc_autoreleaseNoPool() to debug
When it works it does exactly what I wanted it to do, but it comes up with this error about 50% of the time. I'm not expert with xcode so If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great

Need help with Apple Mail POP Google App Settings

I am using Google Apps Account for the domain name xyz.travel
I have set-up POP Account on Apple Mail for my Email address [email protected] with the Google Mail settings of POP and SMTP correctly. No Problem.
However, in my Email Address [email protected] there are 3000+ Emails which is more than 3 years old. I do not want all these Emails to be uploaded on my Apple Mailbox. It will take ages for all these 3000+ Emails to be uploaded in my Apple Mailbox. I only want to be able to send Emails from the Apple Mailbox and receive the Emails that I received on [email protected] henceforth.
Can someone please help me ?

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
