Help with sped up footage needed CC

So ive highlighted my footage, and sped all footage up by 10000%, but when i try and drag them into the timeline the clip size hasnt changed but the speed has been sped up. It results in the clip having its full size in the timeline with bars that indicate theres nothing there for the rest of the clip. If i resize it to less than what it should be then resize it back up it gets rid of the problem and it only resizes back to the size that the sped up clip should be. Problem is i have to deal with alot of clips so dragging them all in, then resizing each clip would be way to long.
Any ideas?

i select all in the project window, right click change speed/duration and change it all at the same time so i can just drag them all into the timeline at the changed speed... the strange thing is i have another folder in the project file that i did the same thing to and it worked just fine. So dont know why this is happening to the second folder

I trying to duplicate a database from one server to a remote server. They are both running windows server 2003 (my first problem) , the primary server is running oracle 11gR1 and the (hopefully) receiving server is running 11gR2(is that going to be a problem?) and I'm a little stuck on some parts of the process.

I changed the local domain to host for business reasons
The next step was to create a initialization parameter file which I am guessing is a pfile and hopefully not a spfile. It then says to only enter one param db_name and the conversion params if the filesystem is diffrent. Problem is I don't know what to do with this file, if I am suppose to switch the second database to this file then surly I would need some more params? Anyway thats the first of many questions.
When I try to run through the rman commands it describes it also trips up:

2) I am pretty sure my listener and tsunamis config is completely wrong so can I have some pointers on fixing that?
3) Was the reason I could not connect to the receiving database my tns and listener config or is it something else?
Quite a few other questions but untill I know some more about the above I doubt I will be able to ask properly.
Also if this helps the book I am using is Expert Oracle Database 11g Administration and the page is 835(the method that begins on that page) and I am willing to write out the whole method if you need more details.
Oh and if you havent figured it out I am very new to this so if some of this sounds very wrong or just stupid just say what I need to change and I will get right on it.

So I am not quite sure what it wants. I read somewhere about a password file but I don't understand how it will help, also most things I have looked at wernt clear on how to do it. I took a stab anyway:

Was run on the original database host.
File was then copied to "F:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\database" on the receiving database's host it was then renamed to PWDcgard.ora as there was file there already with that name.
It did not help(same error).
The book I am using mentions the 'PASSWORD FILE' param to be used with the duplicate command but I cant find a example on how to use it so any help with that would be great.

Need help with "percentage of" I need to see grandparent totals

Theres a division in my database between Supervisors, Representants, and Lines.
The hierarchy is Supervisors -> Representants -> Lines
I have a measure called "acum sold" and I need the percentage of it.
I`m using "Percentage of" -> "Collumn"and it works untill I reach the Lines level, then it doesn`t work (well it does, but not in the way I want)
Basically it`s this

Then I go to the next level

The percentage is based off the XY totals (percentage of the 500 total acum sold) but I actually need the percentage based on the Supervisor

Because XY1 and XY2 sold only 50% of the supervisor`s total. But BIEE is always trying to get 100% of the parent level, instead of the "grandparent" one.

You need to use level based measures. Look up documentation/this forum for Level based measures (LBM).
In short you drag a fact meaure to a heirarchy level in business mapping layer and it will always aggreagtre to that level. So create a total and grandparent level then divide child sum by grandparent total (LBM)

Need Help with 29.97i Footage

I searched the forums here for an answer, but was unable to find anything. Hopefully someone here can help me.
I'm a student just learning the Adobe Production Suite. My class just shot its first film short. We used 16mm @ 24fps. The telecine process could only do 29.97i though, and it added the pull down frames in. However, we need to deliver at 23.98p. Is there any way to transcode this footage in Premiere or After Effects?

I prefer After Effects to do that. Double-click the clip in the AE Project panel to open the Footage window. Step through the footage and see if some frames have interlaced combing artifacts while others don't. If that's the case, then use the Interpret Footage dialog in AE to remove the pulldown. Like this:
Drop the freshly interpreted footage into a 23.976 fps composition and render out a lossless digital intermediate (DI) video file. Then edit that DI as desired in Pr.
If there aren't any combing artifacts in the Footage window, then just drop the clip into a 23.976 comp and export as above. Alternatively, if no combing artifacts, you can use Pr and simply drop the telecined clip into a 24p sequence, then edit and export that sequence.
Since the original audio was probably recorded in sync with the 24fps 16mm film, it should be in sync with your DI or 24p sequence video.

Premiere Pro Color Correcting Help with GoPro Protune Footage

Hey guys,
I'm working on a video I made of my daughter's birth. Most of the footage is from my DSLR and looks fine, but Im' having a helluva time getting my GoPro footage to look even remotely decent. I shot in ProTune thinking I could get more out of it in post (plus, I wanted the 24 fps option). It's a lot of indoor footage and I don't expect miracles but I'm trying to get the best I can out of it.
I start by using fast color corrector to white balance based off hte door trim. That works but it still looks really, really flat and dead. Tried using Contrast, RGB curves, etc. and I can't seem to get any sort of decent image out of it.
Any tips or ideas with where to start? I don't need it perfect, just want it as good as i can get it. Most of my indoor shots look like this for some reason :/
PS, I didn't transcode in Cineform at all. I just dumped the MP4 files right into Premiere Pro.

If you're on PrPro CC, I'd get Speedgrade also and take a run over to it for your correction work ... commonly known as grading. Yea, you can do it in PrPro, but as a noob ... never got the footage I worked "there" as far along as when working in Sg. Might help.
Next ... the scopes here are quite interesting ... first, set your lower-end of the footage to the point where you either go for good "broadcast" (blacks that you WANT black about 16 on a 0-255 scale), then lift the contrast/highs/whatever control until your whites just tip out on top. Next correct for gamma, the overall placement of the mids/upper mids, then start with your color work.
You will probably need to raise in-coming sat up a bit to start making best choices there ... but then I'm also a noob so I'm waiting for the corrections that shooter or Jim will chime in with ...

Downloading again is not as easy as that. you must find the app in the "Purchased" section of the
app store and I think you then must hold down the option key to reinstall it.
BTW, I only worked with one document as a trial for Pages 5 and then imported it to Word and saved it. I then deleted Pages 5 (I can't believe anyone who works with software would think that piece of worthless junk would sufice for anyone who uses a word processor professionally), reopened the Word document and saved it in Pages 09.

If these two are got right then putting it into any Oracle database with default parameters should require zero tuning.
Tuning on a regular basis suggests either the application design or implementation was sub-optimal, but "cannot be changed" or you are suffereing from Compulsive Tuning Disorder. In any event it is an exercise in twiddling futility.

Please help with medical files I need to open immediately and cannot.

I have some medical files sent to me that I desperately need to open. The instructions were to copy the file to the desktop, a zip file by the way, left click using the mac button and "I" at the same time. A menu would open saying "open with" and I was to choose stuffit. Then enter the password when prompted. I was able to get to the stuffit part and the password prompt and entered the password, but nothing happened. I keep getting the error message: Unable to unarchive "LoganRobertPEME.zip" into "Desktop". (Error 1-Operation not permitted.)
Can anyone help me open this file?

Contact whoever sent you the file. Perhaps it's a bad archive. Or be sure you entered the password correctly. They are case sensitive.

I need help with motion control. I am programming in Visual Basic. I will need help with what parts I need to purchase from NI, along with help on the code.

I am using a Papst servo motor and I need to know where to start and what to purchase to get this motor to spin. I am using visual basic and in my program I calculate the direction and RPM's needed from the motor. It will spin anywhere from 1 to 10000 RPM's. It seems rather easy, but I have no idea on how to spin the motor at the specific RPM, and stop it with a command stop in the program. Please help.

We really should know a little more about your intended uses for this system, but assuming you want to do relatively simple (or even not so simple!) motion, you'll need a few components...
A motion controller, such as the PCI-7342, can take your VB commands and turn them into the commands needed to "run" the motor. Next you'll need a drive, such as the MID-7342. This includes the servo amplifier that actually powers the motor. It also has connections to "pass through" the encoder signals from the motor back to the motion controller.
The above-named pieces assume one or two axes of motion. You'll also need a cable to connect the two (can't remember the model right now). You can use MAX to configure the motion controller, and there are just a few VB calls you
'll need to make using NI-Motion functions to define the motion and get it going.

Please help with dynamic menu creation needs to have 5 levels

Hi,
I have run into a Coldfusion problem that I was hoping you
could help me with.
What I am trying to solve is the dynamic creation of at least
5 levels of categories for a menu built with Coldfusion, and if
possible an infinite amount of levels.
Each of these also if it is at the end of the tree will have
to have products under it aswell the category will only show up if
there is products under it.
To acomplish this I have created a database table called
"Categories" which contains the fields shown in the linked
spreadsheet. I am using the "cat_parent" to hold the value of the
parent of the current record. When the parent is a top level menu
item I have assigned this a cat_parent id of "0". Using this method
I am able to do a self join on the table (where "cat_parent" =
"cat_id") to extract the relationship between parent and child
records throughout the table. This works fine. And I have created
output for 5 levels of display.
There are 3 issues left that I could not work out.
- Firstly my coding method loops through each node of the
tree with one query to create each category of the menu. This means
one query per menu category and as the client could have up to 200
categories in the menu and I am concerned that the solution that I
have come up with is too processor intensive.
- Secondly the way that I have created the category menu is
hard coding in the levels needed so there is only 5 not an infinite
amount which would be preferable but is not essential.
- Finally I could not work out how to not create "parents" in
the tree if there is no products for the end child category.
Meaning that if there is for example a category > subcategory
> subsubcategory but there is no products associated with the
end category - "subsubsubcategory" then it's parent and so on will
not display until one of them has products.
Here
is a link to a zip file that includes: the cfc that contains
the query function (categories.cfc), the page that is creating the
categories menu (lefnav.cfm), a simple cfc that contains a products
query just for testing (products.cfc) along with a spreadsheet of
the Categories table's fields.

Help with iPhone 4 signal needed

Hi. I need some help. Someone i know has just got an iPhone 4 but there's a problem. This is signal based but is nothing to do with the 'grip of death' which causes the signal level to drop. This happens when the iPhone is just sitting anywhere not being touched. The signal level goes from 5 bars to suddenly no bars or maybe 1. However this sudden drop only happens when the 3g icon pops up. He turned 3g off in the settings and this stopped all of these signal issues. However he cant leave it like this because the idea with getting the iPhone was to be able to use internet everywhere with 3g. What's happening?

I ordered an iPhone 4 from ATT in Sept. I've never noticed being without a signal, 3g or wifi.
I've been so happy with it I took my fiancee to ATT on her bday to upgrade her from a 3GS to an iPhone 4, but hers does not find the signal like mine does, and hers experiences drops and "no service" (I've never seen that message on mine) even when mine is fully connected (in the same location). We're going to return hers and try to exchange it for another iPhone 4.
Anyone have any explanations or suggestions, other than there's a difference from iPhone to iPhone??

Please Help with JtextArea!! Need advice from Java expert!

Hi, I need something VERY simple, and it is unbelievable I'm looking for a solution for so long! I really hope some of you java-gurus can help me out. Here's the thing:
1. Make a Jframe
2. Add a JTextArea and use a transparent color (e.g. 0.1f,0.1f,0.1f,0.1f)
3. loop a setText method to display a constantly varying text, e.g. the time in milliseconds
I simply can't do it in any way if I use transparency. Without transparency it works with no problems.
I am on Mac, and I have checked out this site:

Yes, I did which is why I asked the question are you trying to create a transparent JFrame so that the desktop image is displayed in the frame? To my knowledge this feature (if it works) is a Mac only feature and does not work on windows. If this is what you are trying to do then I have no idea how to do it and will not respond any more.

I guess I have trouble understanding what this is - "a map with no background"?
Is the map just not an image (ie. a JLabel with an ImageIcon) placed in a scrollpane? Then as the map moves you change the viewport position so it looks like the map is moving? Then you can simply add a label containing the GPS coordinates on top of the label representing the map.

CF8 Enterprise migration to another hosting provider. Help with migration plan (license) needed

Hi there!
We are running a CF8 Enterpsise on an older root Server (virtuozzo VM) and we need to switch to another provider (vmWare VM).
We will probably need more then one month for the migration and I need to come up with a migration plan that doesn't involve rendering the service unavailable.
I've tried to contact Adobe hotline, but the people there knew nothing about licensing, the other number I got from them kicks me after 20 minutes on hold... so I was hoping to be able to find answers here.
I understand CF Enterprise is licensed for 2 CPUs, for unlimited number of virtual machines, so the other server wouldn't qualify to run on the same license key because it's different 2 CPUs. If I could migrate everything within a month then I could use the 30 day demo license, but I will need more then 30 days.
So what are my options? Even if I wanted to buy CF8 Standard to cover the second server while migrating (am not really willing to pay $$$ just to cover few weeks of migration), I'm not sure I'd be able to find a place to buy it. CF9 or CF10 is not an option because we'd need to rewrite the code. What happenes if we do use same license key for few days on both servers - does it stop working? Any hope of me contacting Adobe and getting some kind of "extension" of the 30 day demo license so we can complete the migration?
Any ideas what I can to?

When you install WS2012R2 on KMS02, you can add the VA role (or you can add it after initial Windows installation), this gives you KMShost and also VAMT.

To do this, you will need the KMShost product key (CSVLK) for WS2012R2. You can't use an older version product key for this.

By default, KMS02 will attempt to self-publish into your DNS (so that your KMSclients can discover it and begin activating with it).
If existing KMSclients have previously discovered KMS01, those existing KMSclients will continue to contact KMS01 (because clients will cache the KMS they last discovered and used).
You may wish to export the data from KMS01/VAMT2.0 as a file, then, import to KMS02/VAMT3.1:

Need help with Java applet, might need NetBeans URL

I posted the below question. It was never answered, only I was told to post to the NetBeans help forum. Yet I don't see any such forum on this site. Can someone tell me where the NetBeans help forum is located (URL).
Here is my original question:
I have some Java source code from a book that I want to compile. The name of the file is HashTest.java. In order to compile and run this Java program I created a project in the NetBeans IDE named javaapplication16, and I created a class named HashTest. Once the project was created, I cut and pasted the below source code into my java file that was default created for HashTest.java.
Now I can compile and build the project with no errors, but when I try and run it, I get a dialog box that says the following below (Ignore the [...])
