Having a serial number won't help you track it.
If you set up and activate find my iphone on your iphone, then go to icloud.com and sign in to track your phone.
That is the only way to track your phone.

As I put in my question, someone stole my Iphone and I notice I didn't have an Icloud account so I created one to try find my Iphone and then elimate everytihng but when I tried to do it, it didn't work. And don't know what else I can do.

So as I said , my iPhone 4s got stolen yesterday ! I'm in a big panic !
I have the app setup and everything , wich was actually pretty usefull.
So about 3 hours after my iPhone was stolen (it got stolen at school and the dude was from my school , he stole it while we were in class)
The guy turned off the phone when he stole it but he did turned it on at his house (wich is how I tracked him down)
Since then , I found where he lived , found information on where he lives and called him. Now he's claiming he doesn't have it while I clearly have proof
Problem now is he turned the phone off since yesterday. He cannot access my iPhone since its locked (pin to unlock), I reported my phone stolen to the cops and to my phone provider but now the problem is GETTING IT BACK !
I don't know how to get it back ! I don't want to go over his house and start a fight and argument and create a lot of problem ! What do you guys suggest me ? please help me, I called the police they told me something about 24h - 48h or till monday (72h) but I'm really scared that it get sold to someone or something like that !shivam34 wrote:

Then he tells the thief if you are so confident then let me see if your phone is the same serial number which i have.

You cannot track the phone if it is off. Hopefully you had find my iPhone on and a passcode. The phone will be useless to whomever stole it when he/she tries to erase it and activate it.
Call the police and change your passwords. -

My macbook pro will not hold life even though it is plugged in when I use it. I know the battery life is about gone, but didn't realize this effects it when plugged in or does it. It is about 7 years old. This is second battery. Am I right to think this?
You are right - a dead battery can some times play these kinds of tricks.
If this is a removable battery, I suggest you take out the battery and try running it on the power adpater alone. -

My sons iPhone 5 was stolen out of his blazer pocket while in a games lesson, this was last period and on return to get changed find that someone from his class had stolen his phone from his zipped pocket. Straight away I went onto the find my iPhone on my phone and it has been showing offline since the phone was stolen. The phone had a password set on it and I have notified the police, school and also our carrier. The phone has been offline now for 32 hours, would this mean they have been unable to access the phone and switched it off? Is it possible for the phone to be jail broken while this password has been set. I am most angry that this has happened and the changing rooms are always locked while the lessons take place, so this is someone within my sons class that has stolen the phone. Being a Friday And last lesson the phone is long gone now but I'm hoping with the security measures we have put in place with the pass code etc.... That they won't be able to unlock the phone to use it. The phone was only 2 days old as my son had only just upgraded :(
All you may infer is the device hasn't been turned on where it can connect to Wi-Fi.
The phone may be jailbroken if there is no lock passcode to prevent access. However, the phone can be completely erased and restored as new. In this case you will have no ability to locate it or prevent it from being jailbroken.

My 3G unlocked iPhone is not syncing mail or contacts from my mac book pro, using Lion. I am able to get a calendars and music, only. I get the message that I need to reset the password which I have done 3x's on the phone and on the Apple server.
Good to know that, but what can I do to get the mail and contacts downloaded from Icloud onto my Iphone? I am told that the password needs to be reset and I have erased and reset it 3x's already? Should I Restore All Settings or Restore Network Settings or will that result in a situation where I have to have it re-unlocked again? GRACIAS!

I have an iPhone 4 and am in Nepal. My phone was previously able to connect to wifi, but now is unable. I have an iPad and that is able to connect just fine. This problem is with every wifi hotspot I have tried so it is the phone not the modem.

The warranty is not international and only available in the Country of purchase .If the iPhone is out of warranty Apple or their Agents will also only give service in the country of original purchase.
So if you want Apple help you will have to return it to Singapore or find a 3rd party to repair it if they can in India as long as it is out of warranty and you understand that Apple would never help with that device in future if it has been opened by a 3rd party -

Any ideas as to why my iPhone 3GS wouldn't be receiving any messages or voicemails unless I turn my phone off? Also, it isn't able to open any apps that require the internet.. Help??
YOu can try resetting your network or a reboot. To reboot hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release. Wait for the phone to boot back up, you won't lose any data.
