Hi all need your guidance about SAP certification & training..

I have done SAP MM certification online training program from Delphi Computec, Pune during 2012. But could not clear the exam.
Now i am thinking about going for second attempt. Can any one suggest if i need more training or just doing the books would be sufficient?
I feel that i should go for some more training for certification purpose, can u suggest any training program that would help me clear my certification.
Please suggest.

Not required, but today business demands so you required this Knowelgde.

We can't say yes or No, so based on your requirement you need to sit with Functional COnsultanst and the understand the Business Requirements and develop the OBjetcs.

If you want to know the data flow and reconsilization then you need to know it else not required

Yes, one main difference is There is no setup table concept for FI DataSource*
Note: If you want to become a good BW consulatnt you must know about Tables for normal BW consultant it is not required.

Beginner in java and need your help about DES

I m a new guy in java programming and learn from many books.I m making a website and portal right now and dying need your help about DES.my portal (using java) requires somebody to make a login name and a password.I m done with the server and client things and rite now stuck with this "DES" stuff.
so I make some conditions and algorithm below..
1. when a user login,the password is encrypted.at this point,cleartext(id) and encryption (M,N) are involve.
2. then the key is changed based on algorithm.
3.the key changed by key(id) is received and the original text should be encrypted.
the algorithm
1. the original text x1.x2.x3.x4.x5.x6.x7.x8 (64 bits)
2. encypt the password
a. Each character is changed into an int type by the ASCII code, and let the 1st bit be an odd number parity bit.
b.The 1st bit of the 1st character in (IP) is set to '1', and the 8th bit of the 8th character as '64'.
c.the rest (IP) is like this

just ask about a simple program how to receive a
password from somebody and change it to a key..and
then confirm it with DES.Once again I have a problem understanding what you are asking.
Are you trying to use the password as a key to encrypt some 'standard thing' and place this encrypted value in a database? If so then look in the JCE for 'password based encryption' such as PBEWithMD5AndDes. This seems back to front to me but I can see nothing wrong with the approach since the 'standard thing' you would encrypt is in effect a key. If this is for a commercial application then I would find a security expert to evaluate your proposal!
In my experience it is more normal to encrypt the user's password with DES and store the result in the database. To do this just look in the JCE for DES encryption and consider using DES with CBC and PKCS5 padding. Also, consider encrypting the concatenation of the user's 'user name' with the password as this will (almost certainly) avoid having two encrypted values in the database that are the same even if two users have the same password.
For both of these you might consider using Base64 or Hex to turn you encrpted bytes into ASCII characters before trying to store them in your DB.

I need your help about method for 'Seperating Keypad'

Hi~ I'm a logic user.
I used to be a PC version logic platinum user.
And, I'm moving to Mac OS.
So, I bought Logic Express.
I just want to set up 'my style keycommand'.
Especially, seperating numbers on keyboard and keypad.
(For example, number 1 on keyboard to 'Screen01' and number 1 on keypad to 'Rewind'.)
My equipments are is Macbook air and USB keyboard(A1243-109key)
I bought this extra keyboard for more convenient use at home.
and, have done all through the Manual.
Preference < Keycommand < option < preset < US with numeric Keypad selecting (if only 109 key) < Learn by key position & Pressing number 1 on keypad.
But, doesn't work.
Only with message like 'already assigned to the Screen01, will you really change?'
In short, keypad can't be seperated.
Can you help me?
1. Do I have to adjust keyboard to Mac before loading Logic?
2. Is the seperating impossible in case of Macbook + normal Keyboard?
3. Can you guess what is the problem?
I need your cooperation~

Question about SAP Certification

We want to take a SAP Certification for a product which based on J2EE platform, There a many kinds of certifications provided by SAP ICC. Can anybody tell me:
1、Which kind of certification we can take: Certification for SAP or Power by NetWeaver;
2、The difference between these certifications;
3、The price of certifications took by SAP ICC.

You can do multiple certifications based on your requirements. As your product is J2EE compliant, you can certify its deployment on SAP NetWeaver WAS.
If you also exchange data with SAP applications to enable a functional scenario, you can certify this scenario. The certification in this case would depend on the following :
-- Which SAP solution you are integrating to
-- Using what integration technology and
-- to enable which functional/technical scneario.

The certification fee depends on the integration scenario that you want to certify with.

1. There is one which says that there is a partial marking system. This means that if for example a question has 4 choices in which two are correct. I can get 3 out of 4 points by marking one of the correct answers. One point will be deducted for not marking the second correct answer
This was available before 2009. As of now, this marking scheme is not available for new exam takers. if you are appearing for recertification of old version, this would be applicable.
2. There is a second one which says that all the correct choices have to be marked to score points for that question. So its all or nothing in any given MCQ. So if I mark one correct answer in a MCQ with 4 choices and 2 correct answers, I will score zero for that MCQ.
This marking scheme is applicable now with passing percentage of 63%.

I don't know where to post my question, I posted the same question in SQL Developer but didn't get any answer so I'm going to post it here and I hope that I will get your advice regarding this.
I'm wondering that if someone suggest me about my future career path. I live in Canada, Saskatchewan and have 5 years of background as an Oracle Developer that includes my new job as PL/SQL Developer or you can say this ETL Developer. My job responsibilities over there are:
--Data already loaded in one schema in a raw format and I have to use mapping document created by Business Analyst to load data into target table by using certain condition. I use SQL Developer to create Package, Procedure, function, collection and other stuff.
After loading data, I have to perform some validation check on data and if some data is invalid then invalid data inserted into error table.
My question is that I want to do something more to groom myself and I did some research and because my field is somehow related with ETL or PLSQL so I have a plan to do some certification or training in data ware housing .
In addition, some people are suggesting me that I can do some stuff related to report tools like Cognos or some people suggesting me that go for Data ware housing field . At this moment I'm too confused that What to do and if you people guide me that what is good for me then I really appreciate it. Thanks

Linux DM multipath determines whether or not discovered devices are individual devices or whether they are separate paths to one and the same device. This is accomplished by querying the device serial number. I'm afraid no one can answer your question how to partition and mount your storage space without you giving any information about its purpose.

As Ravi said in his comment, SAP is providing a vast range of online courses which we can nominate for and get benefit out of it.
I am sure it will definitely help you to start as a consultant. However, Simply attending the courses only not enough to make you knowledgeable in the SAP world.
To be a Successful SAP Consultant, Continuous Learning and Practice is necessary all the time.
Further More, If you can able to get the Business Process Knowledge, It will make you a complete SAP Consultant.
Have a thorough check on all the aspects on SAP Training and speak to people who have been in SAP. They can able to guide you by means of explaining whats actually happening in the SAP Consultants world.
Have a clear research and once you decided to go for SAP (which you already done i suppose).
Make SAP as a Passion. When it comes to a Passion, You will be more Knowledgeable without giving any stress as you do learn willingly.

Check out the parameters that you r passing in the Write_form and Start_form with the paramters that you r passing in the sap script form.
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
EXPORTING
   ELEMENT                        = 'TEXT1'
   FUNCTION                       = 'SET'
   TYPE                           = 'BODY'
   WINDOW                         = 'MAIN'
check these values with the value you r passing in the sap script form.
and similarly you check the start form also.

Removing data files issue? Need your guidance

Hello All,
I have a critical situation out here....
I have got one tablespace (say TableSpaceOne). This tablespace have 20 Datafiles.The total size of the tablespace is 32GB.
There are 7 different tables using this tablespace.
One of thses 7 tables is occupying maximum space (29GB)
I want to remove this table and also I want to release the space i.e. other six tables are occupying only 1 to 3GB.
What strategy should I follow?

Thanks for the questionare.
I need to drop the BIG table and recreate it in some other tablespace. But for the present tablespace, there are multiple datafiles which are belonging to various object.
What I thought as solution is:
1. Export other object which I want to keep.
2. Drop the tablespace including contents and datafiles.
3. Create the tablespace with appropriate datafile
4. Import the objects in to the tablespace.
5. Create another tablespace
6. Create the big table into the newly created tablespace
I am ready to loss the data from the big table.
Is my approach correct?
