  • Can we export DATA from all tables in a schema?

    Hi,
    I have a question; Can we export all the DATA from all the tables present in the schema to any source (eigther CSV, TXT, DAt, etc..)?
    Or
    Can I have a PL/SQL procedure to display DATA from all Tables in a schema?
    With Best Regards,
    - Naveed

    Hi,
    This is pretty much what you need.
    DECLARE
    V_COUNT NUMBER;
    v_sql varchar2(1000);
    IN_OWNER_NAME VARCHAR2(100) := 'AP' ; -- SCHEMA NAME
    TYPE T_COL_NAME is table of varchar2(1000) index by binary_integer;
    v_col_tbl t_col_name;
    BEGIN
    FOR i in
    (SELECT object_name
    FROM dba_objects
         WHERE owner = IN_OWNER_NAME
         AND object_type ='TABLE'
    and rownum < 2)
    LOOP
    v_sql := 'SELECT COUNT(*) FROM ' || i.object_name ;
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE v_sql INTO V_COUNT;
    if v_count > 0 then
    v_sql := 'SELECT * FROM ' || i.object_name ;
    select column_name
    bulk collect
    into v_col_tbl
    from DBA_TAB_COLUMNS
    WHERE TABLE_NAME = I.OBJECT_NAME
    AND OWNER = IN_OWNER_NAME;
    -- start selecting the column and exporting using the column names selected.
    end if;
    if v_col_tbl.count > 0 then
    for i in v_col_tbl.first .. v_col_tbl.last
    loop
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_lINE(v_col_tbl(i));
    end loop;
    end if;
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_lINE( i.object_name || '-' || v_count);
    END LOOP;
    END;

  • SQL azure database size not dropping down after deleting all table

    Dear all,
    I have a simple database on Azure for which I have deleted all table data. The size of the database is still showing 5Mb of data and I am charge for that. I have heard that this may happen from cluster index getting fragmented.
    I have run  a querry I found on internet on all my table index to show percentage of fragmentation and all report 0%.
    DBA is not so my job but what could it be or how can I reduce that size ?
    ON premise I would use COMPACT DB but not available in azure like some others DB action
    Thnaks for tips
    regards

    user created objects/data are not the only ones stored in your database. you got system objects and metadata as Mike mentions above.
    are you trying to skip being charged if you're not storing data? looking at the pricing table,  you'll still get charged the $4.995 for the 0-100MB database size range.

  • How get all table name from database

    hi master
    sir
    how get all table name from database

    The big question is 'why'.
    Selecting from view 'dba_tables' will indeed give the list of all tables in the database, but that includes the dictionary tables and the internal tables, and many others that are probably not of interet to a person who needs to ask this question. Besides, the dba_tables view requires access to a DBA account.
    There are several other views: "user_tables" will list all the tables in this user's schema; and "all_tables" will list all the tables this user can access in some way.
    The above do not, of course, include any information about synonyms, sequences, views, indexes and so on.
    The correct answer and the meaningful answer may be two different things.

  • How to delete all TABLEs in Schema SYS which are created since 09:15?

    Unfortunately a script created lots of tables in the wrong Tablespace (=SYSTEM) and Schema (=SYS).
    How can I delete (in one DDL command) all TABLES which are created inTablespace=SYSTEM and SCHEMA=SYS
    during the last 3 hours resp. since 09:15 of 25th Sep 2011 ?
    Alternatively: How can I move these TABLEs to another Schema (e.g. ATEST) and Tablespace (USERS)?
    Is this possible with Oracle XE or only with Oracle Enterprise?

    PeterYou can query dba_objects and join it with dba_tables where tablespace_name='SYSTEM' , then drop the tables result of the query; the idea is to use the following query;
    SQL> select OWNER, OBJECT_NAME from dba_objects where OBJECT_TYPE='TABLE' and OWNER = 'SYS' and CREATED >= sysdate - 3 / 24;Please consider marking your questions as answered, when it is the case;

    Edited by: user8105261 on Nov 25, 2009 11:06 PMA typical way to reset a schema (e.g. to recreate a schema on the test database) is totally different.
    1) Drop the user
    2) recreate the user including table scripts from
    2a) your version control system
    2b) from a export dumpfile using the "nodata" option while importing

  • How to make allow null for a column in all table.

    Hi,
    I have a column "col1" in all tables (user made table) , i want to make it allow null
    please tel me how can it be done using single script.
    i mean in short way.
    yours sincerely.

    yes. absolutely you can.
    Look, what i got -
    Ranit>>  select 'alter table ' || table_name || ' modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ; ' from user_tab_columns where column_name='TIMESTAMP' and nullable ='N';
    'ALTERTABLE'||TABLE_NAME||'MODIFY("TIMESTAMP"NULL);'
    alter table FIXED_OBJ$ modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    alter table SUMPARTLOG$ modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    alter table SUMDELTA$ modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    alter table ALL_SUMDELTA modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    alter table DBA_EXP_FILES modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    alter table WRI$_DBU_CPU_USAGE modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    alter table DBA_CPU_USAGE_STATISTICS modify("TIMESTAMP" null) ;
    7 rows selected.But, it is not over.
    Either - You have to do an 'EXECUTE IMMEDIATE' over these 'alter' scripts.
    OR - Take these scripts, put it into a <script_name>.sql file and then execute this file.
    Hope you understand.

  • What is the easiest way to export all tables data from Oracle to MS SQL Server?

    Hello MS,
    I would like to export all tables from Oracle 11.2 to MS SQL Server 2012 R1.
    Using the tool "Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant v6.0 for Oracle" did not work for me because there are too many warnings and errors regarding the schema creation (MS cannot know it because they are not the schema designer). My idea is
    to leave/skip the schema creation to the application designer/supplier and instead concentrate on the Oracle data export and MS SQL data import.
    What is the easiest way to export all tables data from Oracle to MS SQL Server quickly?
    Is it:
    - the „MS SQL Import and Export Data“ Tool
    - the “MS SQL Integration Services” Tool
    - not Oracle dump *.dmp format because it is a propritery binary format
    - flat file *.csv (delimited format)
    Thanks!

    Hi lingodingo,
    If you want to directly export all tables from Oracle database to SQL Server, I suggest you use SQL Server Import and Export Wizard. Because you just need to follow the wizard with GUI, this is the easiest way.
    If you want to make some modification for the tables‘ data before loading to SQL Server, I suggest you use SQL Server Integration Services package. For more details, please refer to the following similar thread:

  • Copying tables from the pdf file & loosing all table format when pasted into a word document

    I have tables in an Adobe Reader 9.2 file that need to be placed in a word document.
    When I copy the table and paste it into the word document I loose all table formating and am left w/just text--and, not in the right places, I might add.
    Help please!!
    Thanks! Edie

    The only thing that comes close is to use the Snapshot tool (from the Tools Menu) and copy the entire table and paste it, but it treats it as a graphic (picture) and you can no longer edit cells.

  • Process XML attributes of all tables in a structured document

    Hi all,
    I try to process the XML attributes of all tables in a structured document.
    When I use SelectedTbl everything works fine for the selected table and the attributes of the tabelle Element are written correctly to the Console.
    doc = app.ActiveDoc;
    table = doc.SelectedTbl;
    if (table.TblElement)
        Console('Elementname: ' + table.TblElement.ElementDef.Name);
        tblEle = table.Element;
        attrs = tblEle.GetAttributes();
        for (i = 0; i < attrs.len; i++) {
            aName = attrs[i].name;
            aWert = attrs[i].values;
            Console( "     " + aName + "    " + aWert);
    However when I use GetText(Constants.FTI_TblAnchor) to walk through all tables of the documens neither ElementDef.Name nor Attributes are processed.
    var flow = doc.FirstFlowInDoc;
    var textItems = flow.GetText(Constants.FTI_TblAnchor);
    while(iTab<textItems.length) {
    table = textItems[iTab].obj;
    if (table.TblElement)
        Console('Elementname: ' + table.TblElement.ElementDef.Name);
        tblEle = table.Element;
        attrs = tblEle.GetAttributes();
        for (i = 0; i < attrs.len; i++) {
            aName = attrs[i].name;
            aWert = attrs[i].values;
            Console( "     " + aName + "    " + aWert);
    Any Suggestions?
    Yours
    Wolfgang

    You'll probably want all the tables from the main flow. Try
    var flow = doc.MainFlowInDoc;

  • Export all tables' name under user by informatica

    Hi,
    I have a requirement about informatica mapping,
    we want to user one mapping to export all tables' name under user,
    like sql :
    SELECT t.OWNER || '.' || t.TABLE_NAME ||
    FROM all_tables t
    WHERE t.OWNER = 'BIEBS';
    How to realize it?
    Thank you!

    Get the table all_table in source analyzer save it. While building the map choose this as ur source, modify source qualifier as select table_name,table_name from all_tables where table_name='BIEBS'.
    Once u have this, use an expression transformation to build ur expression and load it into a flat file.
    Please mark this answered or helpful if it solves your purpose.
    Rgds.
