    Mac computers have a different operating system than the iPad. Applications programmed for one will not run on the other, although some software developers make two very similar versions where one will run on each operating system. Clash of Clans has made versions for iOS and Android but not for the Macintosh or Windows computers.

    I have been playing clash of clans on the iPad for a while and my boyfriend wants to start one too on his iPhone - but they have the same Game Centre .. He downloaded the app and when it loaded it asked If he wanted to load the game from the IPad he pressed cancel and it began the game from scratch but if he continues will it erase my game? Or will it be separate and have no effect?

    I'm not aware of anything specifically for the screen, but there is a general reset which may or may not help : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
    If that doesn't help then you could try restoring to your last backup or restoring back to factory defaults.
    Do the parts of the screen where you having problems no work on any apps ? It may be a hardware issue with the iPad, in which case you may need to contact Apple.
