Hi i have an ipod 4th gen. the problem is when ever i try to sync my iPod to my computer a mesage comes up and says that the ipod can't be backed up. There wasn't a problem until I upgraded the software. How do I fix this??

The warning triangle means, that iPhoto has lost the connection between the thumbnails and the photos and cannot show them in the browser.
Rebuild the iPhoto library to reconnect the photos. What is your iPhoto version? If it is iPhoto '11 do the following:
Back up your iPhoto library.
Hold down the command and option/ alt keys while double-clicking the iPhoto icon to launch iPhoto.
Keep holding down the keys until you are seeing the FirstAid panel.
Select "rebuild database" from the panel.
Does that bring your photos back?
If not, download iPhoto Library Manager and use the rebuild function.

I suggest trying the update again after an hour or two. Sometimes, the notice that an update is available comes an hour or two before the developers actually sends the revised app out to be downloaded.

Reset the iPod - Press Menu and Select simultaneously for about 10 secs or till the Apple Logo comes ON.
Disconnect the iPod, and all other USB devices
connect the iPod to another USB Port, and not to a USB hub. (Never connect the iPod to the USB port on the Keyboard.)
Run Disk Utility -> First Aid->Erase (to correct any filesystem corruption.
Then run iTunes and Restore.

Personally, I would never use a debit card online, for security reasons. If your card gets hacked its your money that is stolen. At least with a credit card it is the card providers money that is stolen.
Anyway, I would delete the app and re-install. If you paid for the app in the first place you will be able to re-install free of charge. Also, the app should allow the in-app purchase to happen again as it should recognise that you have already purchased it previously.
Finally, it might be that the 3G doesnt have as much ram as more recent models of iphone and you may have applications running in the background that are preventing the app to function with the in-app purchase unless you shut down any apps eating all you memory that are running in the background. Shut-down these apps (and the simpson tap out app) by exiting to your home screen and double-tapping the home button to show what apps are running in the background. press and hold any of the open apps until it starts shaking. close all the apps down. exit then re-launch the app.

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

For a second generation iPod, 4.2.1 is the latest possible version.

Since i updated my iphone4 to iOS5 It says that my 16gb phone has reached capacity. There was only about 10gbs showing used before the update, now ive had to delete most of my apps,pictures and music. It still shows that it is over capacity and wont sync.

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

Here are some possible solutions:
Do you use musicmatch jukebox on your computer? If you do, you have to go into task manager on windows and end process mim.exe. It interferes with disconnecting ext devices
Empty your "trash/recycle bin."
If that doesn't work, try quitting all your programs, especially music-type programs, basically things that look for mp3's etc.
if that doesn't work, "log off" then "log on" and that should refresh/purge your OS system.
Finally, you can restart your computer.

If you are getting errors about there not being enough space on your device, you may want to check to see if Other data is unusually large. You may find the following article helpful:

I was on Facebook last night (6/23/11). I'd gone online about 6:30 and immediately was asked about upgrading to Mozilla 5.0; however, I had crops to harvest before 7, so I clicked "remind me later". I went to Farmville and then Facebook (where I alternated between Farmville, game requests, and home. About 8 pm (give or take a quarter hour) I tried to go to Gardens of Time, my kitten jumped on the laptop, and the sign saying I couldn't go to Gardens of Time took ove the whole laptop screen. I didn't know then I could pull down anything and shut down the computer to escape. Later, when I found out by accident that I could pull down the Firefox part of the screen, I found out the toolbars were missing. I went to Facebook to ask my sister, who is better with computers and internet than I about it (using the address/search window), but she couldn't help. Is the problem something to do with Firefox 5.0? Is it part of whatever happened to Gardens of Time last night? (Gardens of Time is working again and, although I was told Adobe crashed, it worked again immediately afterwards for Farmville and everything else since.) Or is it something done to my laptop by the kitten?
