Hi I have been having a problem with Bridge in CS4 recently. So uninstalled CS4 and Lightroom 4.4 and reinstalled them on my Desktop PC. When I turned on Bridge through CS4, My thumb nail images disappeared and a thumb nail icon with CR2 appeared. Now some of my images have disappeared from Light room 4.4, but I can find them in CS4 and Bridge now shows some thumb nails as images and some as an icon with CR2. I have spent two weeks going through preferences etc. to find how to resolve my problem. Please can you Help? Meany thanks in advance

I don't use LR and rarely use the bridge so I can not answers about thumbnails in them, However thumbnails in windows file explorer and windows dialog for CS2 files will only show if you have installed codec into windows that will produce them. Windows does not do CR2 thumbnails on its own. I use FastPictureViewer Codec package for RAW File and PSD files thunbmail support.

Got a new router this week so that isnt' it. Would I be better off w/o this until Apple gets their act together? I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Sorry to say this is a major lemon. Help!

Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Got the new iMac w/ Lion for Christmas but didn't realize until this week that Apple is the problem.... Hard to believe that Apple just has kept on selling this like ... oh No problem! Bioshd2..i have been having a problem with this bioshd2 error..no drivers detected..

The comp is an hp 6530f.the first time the prob occured was when my dad unpluged the computer from the surge protecter..upon restart,it just says boot failure insert system disc and press enter.when the comp..was orriginally purchased there was no recovery disc and i never made one.when i do a diagnistic it says bioshd2 error no drivers are detected..i tried changing bios settings and a few other things and nothing.so i turned the comp off and the next day turned it on and it booted up normally.the comp worked fine for about a week then one day my dad moved the comp a few inches to check somthinig behind it when the comp suddenly started to shut down by itself..and when i tried to turn it back on, i got the same thing. bioshd2..idont think my hd is bad because it came back on but what could be causing this problem..i tried alot of different things, even taking the battery out for 12 hours to reset bios and nothing..i left it alone for about a week and when it was turned on again it booted normally.now it is working but im afraid of it happening again..ive looked at all of the wires in the comp and dont see any faulty wires..i checked the power supply because when my dad moved it it shut off so i figured it was that but power seems to be working fine.ive been trying to perminetly fix the problem for weeks now and i dont know what else to check..any help would be awsome thanks.

If the motherboard is touching the case it could cause problems. A short in a wire could cause problems as well.
I don't want to say toss the computer around to see if it happens again, but unfortunately it's one of those things that you might not discover it happens again for another month. At that point you can start with changing out the cabling, it's a rather cheap inexpensive fix, then inspect the motherboard, look to see if there is any point where the board could be making contact with the case.

TS1398 I have been having network problems on my Ipad and I reset all network settings as advised in the article about problems connecting to networks. Now my Ipad will not allow me to sign onto any network....it will not accept the passwords for any net

My ipad has been a little glitchy for the last couple of weeks....not able to load pages because of DNS lookup failure and really slow loading...some of which has to do with the DSL service I have, but I followed the directions on one of the Apple wi-fi issues pages to reset network all connections..which I did, and now the Ipad cannot connect to WiFi because it will not accept (or cannot resolve..or??) password. I am sure I am typing the password correctly and have tried it on several routers..and it cannot cannect to any router properly even with the correct password. My laptop is connected just fine and it accepts the password and I have confirmed the password with the ISP and tried other routers.
So the question is what should I do if I am entering the right password and the Ipad can't sign itself on to the Wifi network?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I am and have been having major problems with my G4

I am hoping someone can help me solve these problems.
Issues I am having with my machine:
1. No sound in the speakers.
2. Red light in audio jack.
3. Very slow performance.
4. Extremely long start-up time for both system and applications.
5. Fuzzy monitor.
6. Monitor clear on the left side, fuzzy on the right.
7. When applications are running, very slow response time when changing from one tool to the other.
8. Most Adobe products do not respond upon start-up or shut-down.
9. Machine locks up, stopping clock, force quit, or any other function I am trying to perform.
10. The machine never behaves the same way twice in regard to start-up shut-down, etc.
The performance and functionality of my machine has become progressively worse. Can anyone offer any suggestions or tips? I see there are many discussions on related topics. My machine has multiple problems and I would like to remedy as many as I possibly can.

Recently my shift key has been for some unknown reason ben typing capital "y" when I use it, and YYI don't know how to stop it. Also my return key has been adding a backslash after the return, and I am unsure how to remove that as well, I had this problem aout 6 months ago, and I had to wipe the drive and do a clean install before it fixed. I would not want to do that again, if at all possible.

TS3276 I recently installed LION and have been having email problems, sending and receiving since. My server (Cable-fiber optics) tell me they see nothing wrong, that it is a program issue. I get messages about not recognizing the certificate.

If I click the go-ahead button, I am warned about not be assured of security danger. This keep happening over and over. It is a pain using email since LION. I went into Keychain Access and tried choosing an Apple certificate, but that is never permanent. Should I just ignore the warning? Will this kind of problem disappear with Mountain Lion? Is there a solution?

I have been having this problem many times ever since I updated to iOS 7.

My music will not sync and it's really annoying. I have tried many things but nothing will work. I even restored my iPod and still nothing. I don't know if its my iPod or just my iTunes. Ever since I received a Thunderbird update, I have been having a problem with addresses names coming up in red letters. The addressees are in my address book. I don't have faith that these Emails are going out OK. I get feedback from some of the addressees that they didn't receive either my Email or the attachment but this seems to be random. I never had any of these problems before the recent upgrade.

Yes this is a bug, the red letters do not interfer with sending of emails, it is only displayed in red font.

Since updating my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 i could no longer send pictures to those who did not have an iPhone. Also I can only send pictures to other iPhone users thru iMessage. Another thing, when my iMessage is turned on it send iMessage text from my email address (Apple ID) instead of from my phone number.

Might be possible that it will take time to save the settings ... so once you click save settings wait for few seconds ...
Also if it not working ... disable all firewall on the computer & then try to configure the router ...
