If you can... you need to Upgrade your OS X to 10.6.8
It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.
Do this first...
Check that your Mac meets the System Requirements for Snow Leopard...

If so... Purchase a Snow Leopard Install Disc...

After the Successful Install, run Software Update to get the latest updates for Snow Leopard and iTunes.

Hi, glad that worked for you. Also thanks for the explanation as how you came about this. Yes, from my understanding any Install of the CS5, even a trial version Installs the 10.1 (beta/prerelease) versions. It is not clear to me or others why the 10.1 was used in the CS5 instead of the latest version (10.0.45.2). My only guess is that the 10.1 is very close to being released as a shipping version (final release) to the public. The 10.1 had a target date of the first half of 2010. Perhaps that was the reasoning. This is just my opinion:-)
As I said, many users are having this problem, not just with the CS5, but they Install the 10.1 thinking that will solve whatever problem they may be having with the latest version.

The problem is that there is a limit for creating new iCloud accounts from a device and if the previous owner already created three accounts with this iPhone you bought from him, then you would have to use another device in order to create a new one.

I am trying to update Photoshop CS6 in order to read my camera's RAW files. It is a camera that is supported by Adobe Photoshop CS6. However, when I try to get the Adobe Application Manager to update the software, it fails to do so. So, I have gone to the forums and took the recommended step to update my software manually - getting the update Photoshop_CS6_13_0_6upd-2.dmg. However, this update also fails stating that my Adobe Application Manager may be damages. Download and install a new copy of Adobe Application Manager. Which puts me right back where I started.
I have also taken the step of completely reinstalling Photoshop CS6. This did not solve the problems outlined above.

Can't you open any web pages in Firefox?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

HT4897 I have forgotten my original MobileMe account password and the email address that I used to use to retrieve my password no longer works - help!

I have just upgraded to mountain lion and want to use the icloud. However, years ago I set up a mobile me account and can not remember my password. The email account I set up originally as a default email no longer exists so when I try and set up a new password I am unable to because I can't access the email address I put on file. Are you particularly attached to your ex-MobileMe email address? - it sounds as if you haven't actually used it for very long time. Your easiest option would be to use the ID you have logged in with here to open an iCloud account and choose a new @icloud.com address.
If you really want to reactivate the MobileMe email address (which is also the ID for that account) you will need to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'All Products and Services' in the first column, 'More Products and Services' in the second column, then 'Apple ID' in the third column. Great! Then it came with Lion pre-installed and all you have to do is Internet Recovery as mende1 pointed out. COMMAND+R+OPTION keys held until you see a spinning globe then you can erase the drive using OS X Utilities and Disk Utility then reinstall Lion from the OS X Utilities menu.

You don't want to use the current Recovery HD which is Mountain Lion. You want to use Internet Recovery.

You have an incorrect address. You could refer back to the college but I am sure you need to start with https: and make sure you drop that comma on the end.

Downloaded new version and bookmarks tool bar shows no icons; icons are present in Toolbar in bookmarks menu. Help.

Bookmarks toolbar shows only blank. Can not get any bookmarks to appear on the toolbar.

After trying pretty much every fix out there I found a solution. Trash all the contents in the Preferences folder inside Library and restart. Hope it helps.
