Hi, I’ve recently bought an iPad2 and can’t get connected with AppStore or iTunes, when I tap on these icons a grey page pops up saying is loading but never opens the page, no failure message is displayed, it just keep saying is loading.
Apparently it is not an issue with wifi since Safari, You Tube and Maps work well, I’ve tried some of the tips, e.g. log off/on my Id, change password but no one worked.
Your help will be highly appreciated.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Your phone is "activation locked". It cannot be used unless this lock is removed by the previous owner of the iPhone. If the seller can't help you then ask for a refund of your money.
Apple won't help you. Note that the iPhone you bought may well be stolen property..

QuickTime only appears on System Preferences if you are running Mac OS X Leopard, and you have OS X Mountain Lion.
In Mac OS X Snow Leopard and newer, QuickTime Player 7 isn't included, so you have to install it before getting QuickTime 7 Pro > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3678
After installing QuickTime Player 7, you have to activate it in order to get QuickTime 7 Pro. In that link, follow the steps under "Information for QuickTime 7 Pro users"

Apple's rules for their app store do not allow programs such as Firefox to be run on their iOS devices. We do have a tool to allow access to your Firefox Sync bookmarks and history on your iOS device.

I recently bought an ipad2 and had the Scrabble game downloaded but I am having a problem with it.

Soulds like you may have a GPU problem. If it is under warenty, bring it into a genius bar and they will get you running again.

I was using iTunes on a PC forever and never had a problem. I recently bought a macbook and now I get an error message saying that it cannot connect to iTunes store. Secure network was rejected. Any ideas?

iTunes match is a subscription that you have in when you were still in the UK. According to the terms & conditions you'll need to wait for the susbcription to end before you can change your country to iTunes Store USA.

I recently purchased an iPad2 and can't synchronize it to iTunes.

When I connect it to my PC (Windows 7, iTunes 10.3.1.55), I get a message stating that it could not read from my iPad2 and asking to restore it.
I downloaded the most recent iTunes and restored the iPad over and over.
After restoration, Ipad launches again, asks for iTunes connection.
After connection, iTunes says it is synching. This step takes a long time (more than 10min) and nothing happens on iPad screen.
After 10 min, progress bar disappear from iTunes and "Synchonizing" appears on iPad.
I get a message stating that "iPad could not be synchronized. A folder was specified instead of a file".
iTunes show that I have 4GB space on my iPad, although it should have 60GB.
When I drag files from library to iPad (on iTunes), sync starts on PC, but nothing on iPad screen.
I purchased my iPad in the US and I'm currently in Brazil.
I took the SIM card away so it doesn't interfere in the process. It wouldn't work with AT&T SIM card either.
I will appreciate any help.

I was kicked out of my email (rcn) and can't get back in. It happened when I blocked all permissions on an ad in the inbox page. rcn said it's a mozilla issue.

I had removed a pop up ad from my email inbox page and tried to do the same to another one on the opposite side of the page. I think this ad was not a pop up but part of the inbox page. As I did to the pop up ad, I right clicked on it, and then clicked on 'View Page Info'. I then went to the 'Permissions' window where there were 7 categories, all with the 'use default' option checked. I unchecked all of them and checked 'Blocked' for all 7.
As soon as I closed the window, I was thrown out of my inbox and was sent back to the log-in page for my email. When I went to log back in, I was unable to. I am stuck on the log-in page and it won't let me access my inbox. I called RCN, my provider, who was able to get in right away. I then used my Internet Explorer browser and was able to get into my email inbox perfectly fine. The 'tech' at rcn said it has something to do with Mozilla and tried to get me to reset it but warned me that I will lose all settings. I am hesitant to do that and I would so appreciate you fine folks at Mozilla to tell me what happened and how to fix it.

You can undo your permission changes. Probably the most relevant one is cookies. Try one or both of these methods:
(1) Page Info > Permissions tab
While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Permissions
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Permissions
(2) about:permissions
In a new tab, type or paste '''about:permissions''' and press Enter. Allow a few moments for the list on the left to populate, as this information needs to be extracted from a database.
Then type or paste ''rcn''' in the search box above the list to filter it to the most relevant domains. When you highlight a domain, you can adjust its permissions in the right pane.

For a LAN network in my office, all laptops are Windows based and the internet is through LAN and other computer get connected with adhoc without the router. My Apple computer nor my iPhone 5 get connected. How do I connect to this Internet?

In the office, All my colleges use Windows laptops. The Internet connection is out of LAN wire installed in one of the computers. Others use Internet by creating adhoc connection. However none of the apple products are being able to connect to this connection.How can i connect my MacBook Pro or iPhone 5 to this Internet network?

Just how is the one computer connecting to the internet? What type of connection does the office have, DSL, Cable or is it a Data connection through a Cell phone provider.
I doubt all other computer are doing Ad-Hoc but are probably Sharing the Internet connection with Internet Connection Sharing from that one Windows base PC.
All you khave to do is Connect to that same WiFi SSID name and have the correct password for it.

One iCloud account has one user name (a .mac or .me email name) and password. If you have set up multiple accounts in the past then you must choose one and stay with it. If you don't know the user name, then you have a problem. If you haven't really begun using iCloud (but you mention trying to get mail, so I'm assuming you have used iCloud before), then use a .mac or .me account you know you have or just sign up for a new account - and be sure to write down the name and password for future use.
If you want to use the account to sync your contacts, email, calendars, etc, then each of your ios devices need to use the same account, otherwise they will be independent of one another.

When I try to download my updates it opens the little window to start doing it, then just keeps spinning at "connectiong to update server." Nothing more ever happens.

As I said, when I try to download my firefox update it starts the process, then just sticks at "connecting to the update server" It will stay like that indefinitely until I shut the window. This is what happens whether I try to download when I am prompted by my computer telling me I have updates, or if I go to the firefox site and try to download the latest version. It's been like this for months and months.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

Change of ISP and can no longer connect with AE

Well, I figured this would happen - I switched from AT&T DSL to Charter High-Speed Internet, and the darn cable modem is making my life difficult. When I plug in with an Ethernet cable to my laptop, no problems. But that's no fun.
When I connect my AE, it's a different story. Connection bars are great (I'm less than five feet away from it now, but posting this using my neighbor's wireless), and the configuration looks just fine in the AirPort Setup Utility. The problem is that I simply can't get anywhere - it won't actually connect to a page. When I use the Apple DNS "test", it recognizes it as an apple.com website and inserts the proper "name", but the computer never gets there.
What am I missing? Everything does look right on the AE configuration and my computer's wireless settings; I'm just not sure what's going on! Thanks!

Already noted two things that I forgot - this is with Charter. I checked old posts on the topic, and some have noted a similar problem. This seems to have been resolved with the old 'unplug in random combinations' trick, but that hasn't worked for me yet. I've tried doing my computer, my modem, and my AE in all six permutations of order.
