Screen won't lock or go black when answering calls
Verify mute or speaker have not been activated, just prior to placing your ear over the receiver.
While on a call hold your hand over the top third of the display, and verify that the screen is locked or goes to sleep.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.

System Preferences > Network > Ethernet? If that shows "not connected" that is all your Mac knows. As far as it is concerned there is no cable connected to the port on your Mac, or the other end of the cable is either disconnected or connected to something that is broken.
Try another cable. If the cable is broken you will also get that status message. If you have exhausted all of these possibilities, the only remaining cause is an inoperative port on your Mac.

They already have your number and/or email address and maybe have sold it several times already to others as well. They also use number generators - software that will automatically create them - some work and some don't, they don't care, they send out millions and a few will fall for it and send them money. The only way to "hide" would be to change both and your password, but then it would happen again at some point.

When I get an call the phone switches automatically to speaker phone when I pick up the call.
I then have to press the handset button to get out of the speaker phone mode.
How do I set it to goto the handset automatically.
I have the most up-to date software and I have pulled that battery.

That's just what happens when you do a battery pull. If your phone is turned OFF, the cache is not accessible. As you're probably aware, anytime any electronic device is acting up (PC, printer, modem, etc.), unplugging it will correct many issues; it's the same with your phone.
I can't offer a really technical explanation, just trust me on this one and remove your battery while your phone is ON.

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for, but it might help:
"If you made the Windows partition too small
First, back up all the information on your Windows partition. Then run Boot Camp

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Microphone won't work when I answer a call the 1st Time

I have a treo 700WX (Sprint), latest firmware (1.15)
At first I thought this was a hardware problem but it seems like software.
Pretty consistently I will make or recieve a call and I can hear the other person but they can not hear me.
Hang up call back or they call me back, mic works fine.
Has anyone else run into this or have a fix?

Reboot your iPad and then look again - do the search again and see if you at least confirm that it is on the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If you can confirm that the app is on the iPad with the search, but still cannot find it on any of your screens, connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Select your iPad on the left side. Click on the Apps Tab in the iTunes window on the right. Look through the list of apps and find it in the list. Double click on the icon in that list and it should show you the folder and screen that the app is on.

Do you see "Home Sharing" on both your iMac and MacBook? Is Home Sharing all set up? Have you gone through each one of the ten steps in the "Home Sharing" section of the article you attched? Are you looking for the "Import" button on your MacBook?

I'm currently in mac recovery. I have a 21.5'' iMac (I think late 2011). I'm running OSX mountain lion and I think its kept up to date. Every time I boot, nether in OSX or windows I get a screen the same as the boot screen just with a buffering wheel (not the beachball one). This seems to go on for ever (at least 3 hours) ant will not boot. Booting in safe mode does not work and results in the same problem. As I said earlier I can get tom recovery mode. Thanks Oliver.

Hello, disconnect any external drives for now.
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

Try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. Then try shutting your iPod off again.

With the new safari update (7.0.3), the full screen option has stopped working...please help.

I updated Safari and now the full screen option will not work. It's one of my favorite features. I have tried going to View -> Enter Full Screen and that doesn't work.

Reset Safari.
Click Safari in the menu bar.
From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
Click "Reset".
Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Turn off Extensions if any, and launch Safari.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
