Hide Team Calendar Link from UWL

Hi everyone,
I am trying to disable the Team Calendar Link from the ESS application LeaveRequest.
What I did is Personalization of the iView from Content Administration as it is described in [this Thread|ESS : To remove link Show Team Calendar;
This configuration works for all users who call the application via iView.
But when I call the application from a Workitem in the UWL the Team Calendar Link is still there.
How can I disable the Team Calendar for users of the UWL? Do I have to edit the UWL Configuration File and add a property to the appropriate Item Type?
Best Regards
Olaf

Hi everyone,
I fixed the problem by defining an action that opens the WebDynpro iView instead of the WebDynpro:
<Action name="launchIView" handler="IViewLauncher">
<Properties>
<Property name="iview" value="pcd://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.working_time/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.leaverequestapprover"/>
<Property name="display_order_priority" value="uwlExcludeFromPreviewDetail"/>
</Properties>
</Action>
</Actions>
Thanks for your support.

  • Remove Hyper link from UWL ITems

    Hi All,
    How to remove Hyperlink from the UWL items list? Is that possible?
    I have list of tasks in UWL and I do not want to give hyper link to the end users since they already ahve "View Detail"  Button on UWL, Please help how to hide or remove hyper link?
    Thanks
    Krishna

    In the UWL configuration, you specify the default action for a UWL item using the attribute "defaultAction".
    This default action is performed when you click on the UWL item.
    You can set any of the available actions as the default action for the UWL item.
    As mentioned by Karri, it is usually not common to disable the hyperlink of a UWL item and make it non-clickable.
    However, if you would like to achieve this, you can identify and check the UWL configuration file being used for the given UWL item and modify it as below:
    <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.decision.TS20000999.MYUWL_SYSTEM" connector="WebFlowConnector" defaultView="yourDefaultView" defaultAction="dummyAction" executionMode="default">
          <ItemTypeCriteria
    Since dummyAction is something UWL doesn't recognize, the hyperlink should be disabled.
    You might have to do this for all the UWL item types you use.
    Thanks,
    Shanti

  • Hide Create Flight Link from Travel Manager Page (TRIP Tcode)

    Hi,
       As we all know that after executing TRIP tcode we have the travel manager page which has 4 options.
    1)  Create Travel Request
    2)  Create Flight, Hotel, Car Rental, Train ... With Ref.
    3)  Create Travel Expense Report ... With Ref.
    4)  List of All Trips
    Can someone tell me how to hide the 2) option in this travel manager page. Also the user is not able to see create travel expense link in my open trips under subsequest activities column.
    Kindly Suggest.
    With warm regards.

    Hi,
    Go to "Define Schema and Individual Field Control" in IMG, and here you can hide and display various fields and tasks. Select the schema which is related to the TRIP (transaction) - i.e. the fast entry (99)

  • Hide refresh from UWL tray menu

    How can I hide the "Refresh" link from the UWL inbox tray menu?  The refresh link that I'm referring to is along with other links like "manage substitution rules, personalize view, Display connection status".
    Thanks
    Praveen

    I found solution, I had to put "refresh" in the UWL iView property "List of UWL Actions to exclude".  This would remove refresh item from the tray menu.
    Thanks

  • PDF not displaying in Portal from UWL : cl_fitv_navigation= navigate_to_object

    Hi Experts,
    We are using a custom webdynpro application for the approval of expense claim.If I am clicking the link from UWL, a new window is opened and it is showing a blank page and PDF is not displaying in the browser.
    I have checked from application level (SE80) and it is working fine,PDF is getting displayed in browser.We have done the UWL re-registration as well.
    We have used the class 'cl_fitv_navigation' and method 'navigate_to_object' to display the PDF.
    Also I have debugged the same method and could found that the codes are different for calling the application from portal and for using SE80.
    Kindly let me know what could be the issues or if I missed any parameters.Also please let me know if I need to check any related R/3 configs and parameters maintained in R/3.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Remove "Personalize Link" from context menu of iViews.

    HI,
    We have to disable / hide the "Personalize Link" from context menu of all  iViews in the portal.
    we do not want to go to Properties of individual iViews and change that.
    Is their any global setting for that?
    _vishal

    Hi Vishal,
    Are you talking about the Pesonalization option in iView tray or Webdynpro Personalization.
    You don't need to open each iview to change a common property. You can use Multiple Property replacment to achieve this.

  • Link from calendar event

    Is there an easy way to provide a link from an HTMLDB-built calendar event? In other words, I have a table that has date, item and description columns, to which I have built an HTMLDB calendar on. I would like to be able to link from the item listed on the calendar to a popup (or similar) with the long description about this event. Any ideas?

    Here is some great info that I got from Raj:
    "when you create a calendar region in html db, the region is defined as pl/sql that pieces together a query string and sends it to the wwv_render_calendar2.show procedure. in that query, the third column becomes the link associated with your event. to get your popup window thing to work, you could change that third column to a javascript link call to a procedure that pops up a window with the extra info you're lookin' to display. say your page had access to this javascript fuction...
    function popupURL(url)
    {w = open(url,"winLov","Scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=800,height=600");
    if (w.opener == null)
    w.opener = self;
    w.focus();}
    ...and your calendar was a simple report on the SCOTT.EMP table that started off like...
    q := 'select "HIREDATE",
    "ENAME",
    null,
    null,
    null,
    null
    from "#OWNER#"."EMP"';
    ...you could change that third column to your javascript call like so...
    q := 'select "HIREDATE",
    "ENAME",
    ''javascript:popupURL(''''http://www.yahoo.com'''');'',
    null,
    null,
    null
    from "#OWNER#"."EMP"';
    ...to have the link associated with your ename values popup Yahoo windows. in your case you'd probably want your windows to have information about your events, so calling another page in your application might be the way to go. just pass it an id of some sort to retrieve the appropriate information. "
    Thank You Raj.

  • Linking from Portal Calendar to Event Discription Page

    I have tried to use the SQL Query in a Wizard Generated Calendar and creating a link to a dynamic-generated report page with discription of the event. But I am getting errors in my code. • Problem with Team Calendar from Create Leave Request

    Hi Expert,
    We are facing following 2 issues with Team Calendar-
    1)     When manager checks Team Calendar from create leave request he gets a warning message 'No team set up for the user in the selection                period.Contact Administrator'
    I know this issue has been reported earlier as well but i didn't find the thread where it has been answered correctly.
    - OADP configuration is correct.
    - Manager is head of org unit.
    - Also IT105 exist for manager as well as employees.
    We are currently checking on authorization side for this.
    2)   Team Calendar is showing leave details only for the current month. If we navigate to previous month it does not show anything even though there exist leave data for the given month.
    Please suggest if we are missing something.
    Thanks & regards,
    Avinash

    Hi Nagendra,
    I dont remember the exact auth object but ask security team to apply trace for the user id and identify the same.
    Also i would suggest you to check following setting before checking authorizations-
    Get the Group of Organizational Views applicable for rule group in your case  from following path
    SAP Customizing Implementation Guide--> Personnel Management-->Manager Self-Service (Web Dynpro ABAP)--> Service Specific Settings-->Working Time--> Team Calendar--> Select Employees:
    After getting Group of Org View Check the Evaluation path used in OADP configuration.
    Please check if the evaluation path is correct as per your requirement.
    Regards,
    Avinash

  • Link IGS for Team Calendar

    Hi ,
    For ESS (MySAP ERP 2004) the Team Calendar need IGS . Where do we link both together ? In confirguration ? Thank you for helping , we did not find how to tell ESS to use the IGS .
    Regard's

    You just need to set the IGS default path. This is done in Visual Admin. I forget the exact path...but search the forums because this issue has come up several times before (in fact, I think I posted a step-by-step a good while back).

  • Team Calendar shows empty content as iview

    Hi Guys,
    I am working on EP 7. When we click "Leave Request" under time management, the screen has a link for "Show Team Calendar", when we click on that, it will show a list of staffs and current month's days.
    But if we run the "Team Calendar" as an individual iview with the same user ID, it just shows no data, and it has a drop down list as "Directly Subordinate Employees/All Employees" which is not there inside "Leave Request".
    I know this 2 team calendar is of the same application "TeamView" from package sap.com/ess~lea, but why they shows different content, with the same user ID? Any configuration need to be done?
    Thanks with points
    Regards,
    Guo Feng
