History forward is don't work in firefox?

code:
<pre><nowiki>var gads= function (id, config, src) {
var iframe, body = document.body;
if (document.createElement) {
var iframe = document.createElement("IFRAME");
if (iframe) {
//set iframe domain consistent with the web page
iframe.src = 'javascript:void((function(){var d=document;d.open();d.domain="webdomain.com";d.write("");d.close()})())';
iframe.id = id;
iframe.width = "1px";
iframe.height = "1px";
iframe.style.display = "none"
if (body != null && body.appendChild && iframe) {
body.appendChild(iframe);
gads[id] = setInterval(function () {
try {
if (gads[id]) {
clearInterval(gads[id])
var iframeEle = document.getElementById(id),
iframeEleDoc = iframeEle.contentWindow.document;
alert(1);
// dosomething in script
iframeEleDoc.write('<!doctype html><ht'+'ml><bo'+'dy><scr'+'ipt>alert(2);</scr'+'ipt></bo'+'dy></ht'+'ml>');
//run to here, history forward is don't work.
alert(3);
window.setTimeout((function () {
iframeEleDoc.close()
}), 0)
} catch (e) {
alert(e)
}, 100)
}; </nowiki></pre>
run to the "alert (1)", history forward showed normal, but run to the "alert (3)" when history forward display abnormal. where is the forward?
And this phenomenon occurs only in firefox, other browsers have shown normal.

  • My Microsoft Intellimouse back and forward buttons don't work in Firefox, but they do in IE and in Windows Explorer. It used to work, now it just stopped. Why and how can I fix this?

    Forward and back buttons don't work in Firefox but do everywhere else.

    Make sure that you set those buttons to the default action in your mouse driver software (Control Panel > Mouse or specific Intellimouse driver software).

  • My in-page html links don't work in Firefox.

    I've made som links within the same page in HTML, and they don't function in Firefox, though they work just fine in IE. I've already tried everything on this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems?esab=a&s=links+don%27t+work+in+firefox&r=19&as=s
    This has been a problem for years now. Why don't in-page anchor links work? I'm just using html with Wordpad to create my pages, not any CSS.

    House Rules at the top of the page.

    This would be the correct manner. Dump the # and close that '''a name''' tag immediately.

  • A few of my pages don't work with Firefox nor Chrome. How do I fix this?

    I created my website from scratch (enjoyaquatics.com) but unfortunately a few of my pages don't work with Firefox nor Chrome. How do I fix this?
    Everything looks and works GREAT on Safari but not Firefox, Chrome, nor Internet Explorer.

    The pages look fine in FF and Chrome on my Mac. Didn't check with Win XP.
    If you use MSIE on a Mac, know that it became obsolete in 2003.
    I noticed what I call wobbly text on your pages. Here's the solution :

  • Mobile wifi mouse back and forward functions don't work

    I just bought the hp wifi mobile mouse model MOWFFKUL and back and forward functions don't work and it's driving me crazy. I bought it for these specific functions. At first I thought that it was a broken mouse. So I went and returned it, got back home, and the same thing. I set the side buttons to other functrion options and they work. What the hell??? just the back and forward buttons don't. I'm losing my mind big time because I REALLY NEED those buttons/functions to work!! All the regular top buttons functrion fine, it's only the back forward setting that DOESN't WORK.

    I restarted my laptop, and the buttons worked! For only 2 minutes. Then nada ever again. What a POS. Come on HP, give a solution. I bought and returned it twice, which makes this my third wifi mouse. What a waste of my time. I think I'm just gonna return this mouse and forget the wifi mouse. Functionality is more important than a freed up USB port. I bought it for the forward/backward buttons specifically. HP used to make wonderful products, but this experience bring that into question now.

  • This code DOM don't works with firefox

    this code DOM don't works with firefox:
    <div class="fileupload fileupload-new" data-provides="fileupload"><input type="hidden">
    <div class="uneditable-input span3">
    <i class="icon-file fileupload-exists"></i> <span class="fileupload-preview"></span>
    </div>
    <span class="btn btn-file"><span class="fileupload-new">Procurar ficheiro</span><span class="fileupload-exists">Alterar</span><input id="ficheiro" name="ficheiro" type="file"></span><a href="#" class="btn fileupload-exists" data-dismiss="fileupload">Remover</a>
    </div>

    This site is based on wiki software and doesn't handle code very nicely -- as you can see.
    Do you want to provide the code another way? For example, you could set up a test case on jsfiddle.net or paste the source into a page on pastebin.com and post a link in a reply here.

  • Why is it my home page won't load when I open, my back and forward buttons don't work, the tabs have no boarders, they just show text and I can't tell which one I'm on sometimes, I can't download things, and firefox won't remember tabs when I close it?

    I've tried switching to an older version, re-installing the latest version, deleting add-ons, clearing my history and cookies, and nothing works. What the heck?! I didn't do anything, it just flipped out when I opened it!!!!

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />
    See:
    * [[Basic Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile|Basic Troubleshooting&#58; Make a new profile]]
    If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

  • My back/forward buttons don't work - have done 'reset toolbars and controls', but they still don't work

    When I downloaded the latest version I got a new screen with the orange Firefox tab at the top. That was fine, I could find what I wanted, but back/forward buttons didn't work. I checked the help section and went right through the suggestions down to 'reset toolbars and controls' - this did reset and I lost the orange box - that doesn't matter, but the back/forward buttons still don't work.

    Do you have more than one tab open? If you didn't go to another site in a single tab, then yes, the buttons will be greyed out. If you went somewhere in another tab, then those sites should be accessible by right clicking either button.

  • Some logins don't work in Firefox but do work in other browsers

    I have a couple of sites that the logins don't work when I use Firefox but work perfectly if I use another browser such as Chrome or IE. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox including reinstalling back levels but nothing works. Any suggestions?

    In what way are those sites not working?
    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Also check the cookies exceptions to make sure that you aren't blocking cookies.
    If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the <i>cookies.sqlite</i> file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
    Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Cookies
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Deleting+cookies
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • Hyperlinks from Outlook 2010 don't work anymore (Firefox is my default browser)

    Since I installed IE 9 I can't use Hyperlinks in Outlook anylonger (Firefox remains my default browser!). I tried already
    a) set IE 9 default (Hyperlinks works) and switch back to Firefox (Error message and Hyperlinks don't work)
    b) "Start" + R with any link doesn't work either c) delete in the registry HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\FirefoxURL\ & HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\FirefoxHTML\
    c) Updated Firefox to Version 4 and things are even worse (Firefox crashes now)
    But nothing works, can someone help me?

    Is it using yahoo as its search engine, or switching to yahoo's browser. If it is using yahoo as its search engine, you can change that in settings>options>search and at the top it will show you a button that you can click to choose your default search engine.
    Have a great day!!

  • Javascript games that work in IE don't work in Firefox - why?

    Why can't I get javascript games that work in IE to work in Firefox? The javascript games show up on the page but not in the correct format and the scripts don't work. An example is here: http://www.cornwallfoodandfarming.net/games/KS1-summer-in-farm3/picture-memory.htm
    When you open it in IE you can see what it should do!
    Any help gratefully received. Cheers...Paul

    That particular game was created a long time ago... in the age of Netscape version 4.
    Netscape version 4 had proprietary objects named layers that are no longer supported in Firefox, so the game fails because it assumes that Firefox supports layers. You can see this if you open Tools > Error Console and scroll to the end of the long list after clicking the link to start the game.
    If you think the developers of this site might be willing to update the game, let them know about this problem.
    If not, and the game is very important to you, you could try Chris Pederick's User Agent Switcher extension (Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons) to make Firefox temporarily masquerade as an old version of Internet Explorer. There's no guarantee that will make the game work in Firefox, but it has a better chance than what you get now.

  • Keys don't work with firefox 5.0

    I uploaded Firefox 5.0 and now the Home, End, Page Dn/Up keys don't work! I need these on eBay. The arrow keys now send you all the way to the top or bottom of the page with no stops in between. I really hate it when you guys change things; there was nothing wrong with the previous version. Now I have to use Internet Explorer. Boo.

    No but what I have is on my this page at the top. (see profile for more pages)

  • Keyboard shortcuts don't work in Firefox 9.0.1 on Mac OS 10.7.2

    I've just bought a new MacBook Air with Mac OS Lion for the first time. No keyboard shortcuts work in Firefox 9.0.1 with a fresh install. Command-T or W or N or CXZ - none of them do anything. They all flash the appropriate menu bar (so the word File in the menu flashes when I press Cmd-T) but nothing happens.
    If I open the menu first and then press the shortcut it works.

    If anyone is interested in this on the Firefox team - I found I can make shortcuts work by pressing the Fn key at the same time (so Fn-Cmd-T for a new tab). I tried Beta and Aurora and the same thing occurs on both of those. It's a bit annoying but I guess I'll get used to it.

  • Firefox on linux, change tab to right alt with xmodmap don't work on firefox

    Hi, I changed my tab key with my altgr key using xmodmap on linux, (for my xmonad setup) it works everywhere but firefox and thunderbird, my main concern is about firefox, I tried safe mode and disabling all extensions but it didn't work, any one knows why?

    Hi
    Igarcez, It is not specific altgr key mapping. any key mapped through xmodmap does not work in firefox or thunderbird. I repaired an old laptop where the x is not working. assigned the x to the windows key, and only in mozilla products, it will not work.
    looks like mozilla uses its own keymapping program....
