    Hi
I need to generate an Asset History Sheet for a particular period of a closed fiscal year. The system allows only to generate the asset history sheet as at the closing date of the prior year.
How can I generate an asset history sheet for a particular period of a closed financial year?

  • Retaining history on validity period changes for qualifications

We'd like to be able to retain the history on when validity periods for qualifications are changed in the TEM module.  I can't get the Qualification Catalog maintenance screens to allow us to enter the validity dates for the HRP1025 recors.  I was able to configure SAP to allow me to make the changes via PP01 but if we then make a subsequent update in OOQA the effective date goes back to the start date of the Qualification Object and the history is lost.  Is there any way to turn off the maintenance of the HRP1025 data from OOQA and force it to be done through PP01?

  • Long time to open tab "change history" of  business partner in Web_ui.

    Dear experts!
Long time to open tab "change history" of  business partner in Web_ui.
4 records were opened for 10-20 seconds
    http://imglink.ru/show-image.php?id=22083a6a576f78c66c86863bf6b0573b
    1. In what may be the reason?
If the records are many, the discovery may be more than a minute.
    2. Is There a report for the purification of the " Сhange history" over a period?

    Hello Dilip,
One more alternative would be to increase the time out parameter in ABAP environment.
The steps to change this parameter:
    1) txn: RZ11 -> enter the variable name rdisp/max_wprun_time
    2) Display -> Change value -> Then input the value you would like        (ideally 3600)
    PS:
    1) Don't set this value too big, otherwise general performance will be
influenced, since lots of dialogue process will be occupied for a long
    time
    2) This parameter can be changed dynamically
Once the parameter is set please test again. You can try incremental
values and test which one does not give timeout error.
please refer to the note 25528 for more details about RZ11.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Hi,
Is there any SAP tcode to show the material inventory balance history by year/period or by date range?
I know MMBE can display balance, but just current balance, i need a report to show the material balance history.

    Hi,
    Use T.code: MR51

  • Material Master Period closing:

    Hey Gurus,
Currently we are running MMPV globally which causes few issues regularly.
Hope running MMPV locally would fix these.
Splitting the MMPV transaction event (by world time zones) would be a major piece of work to establish the impacts on other processess (such as billing, intercompany accounting, consolidation, standard costing runs and actual costing runs). Needless to say, such a change would need to involve multiple functions (Procurement, sales, finance).
Immediate response in this regard in highly appreciable,
    Regards,
    KK

You may refer to  note 520010 that has a FAQ on period closing, which recommends not to allow posting while period closing is being done.
(My comments: You may trying closing the period following the Sun, However you may want to monitor the inter-company transaction closely to avoid any inconsistencies.)
The note's content is reproduced below.
    "6. Question:
After the period closing program runs, data inconsistencies occur in the previous period, although the data of the current period is consistent. What causes this?
    Answer:
The following example describes a rare case that causes a large amount of data inconsistencies. During the period closing program run, the processing of a small MM document overtakes the processing a large MM document.
    Constellation:
    - In Customizing for materials management, "Late Lock" is activated.
    - In period closing for the material master (transaction MMPV), periods are closed during the interval between the last day of the old period and the first day of the new period.
    Example
    Date July 30, 2005, time 23:59
    - You begin processing MM document 1, an IDoc consisting of 1200 items.
    - Its posting date is July 30, 2005 and posting should occur in the current period.
    Date July 31,.2005, time 00:00 - 00:01
    - The period closing program runs a day before the current period 07 is finished and changes the current period from 07 to 08.
    - Therefore, all future goods movements and price changes with a posting date of July 31, 2005 are posted in the previous period.
    Date 31.07.2005, time 00:02 - 00:03
    - The system processes and updates the next MM document (2), an IDoc with 100 items.
    - MM document 2 contains goods movements that have combinations of material and plant that are the same as for MM document 1.
    - The posting date is to 31.07.2005, that is, MM document 2 is posted in the previous period 07.
    - The posting of MM document 2 causes the system to create history tables of the material masters that are to be posted for period 07.
    - During the posting of the previous period, the quantities and values are updated simultaneously in the history tables of period 07 and the tables of the current period 08.
    Date July 31,.2005, time 00:04
    - MM document 1 is posted and its processing is complete.
    - At the start of processing, the system determined that this document, with a posting date of July 30, 2005, is to be posted into the current period.
    - During the processing of this document the period is closed, but the posting program does not know this.
    - MM document 2 has updated the entries for the current period, however this is now 08.
    - The data in the history table of period 07 is now inconsistent as is the data for all the combinations of material and plant that are contained in MM documents 1 and 2.
    Conclusion
<b>To avoid this constellation, do not allow any postings to occur whilst the period closing programs is running.</b>
Before the period closing program runs, check in transaction SM13 whether outstanding update terminations of goods movements are still displayed. These must be cleared and closed before the period closing program runs.

  • History Masking and Timeline

Disclaimer: this feature request doesn't fall under the "absolutely essential" category, and at this point it's only a rough idea.
I'd like to have a timeline with sliders (like in a movie or animation program, but actually more like when creating Photoshop gradients, as I'll explain). The timeline would default to one slider at the end of the timeline, indicating that all vector elements are visible. Sliding this slider backward would gradually hide elements, beginning wtih the most recently created. As when creating a gradient, new sliders could be created to only mask elements created earliest, or sometime in the middle. "Keyframe" markers could easily be added at any point to mark the beginning and end of work periods so that they can be easily masked.
Perhaps the most useful function of this tool is that it provides a quick way to unclutter a document. Working on an elaborate illustration? Mask the first half of your work so you don't keep accidentally selecting it (or mask any other point in your history where you created invasive details). When you're quickly sketching, it can actually be most intuitive to "bound" regions by time rather than space -- simply highlight a rough period of your history that you want to make dissapear for a moment.
But, the tool would provide many creative oppurtunities. First, this would be an easy way to fiddle with illustration states, rather than saving copies, hiding and unhiding layers, etc. -- especially when you're trying to quickly sketch an idea (and, say, want to play around with shading styles). But this would also be a creative tool, like Photoshop's history brush, though this interface would enhance that concept significantly. Sliders are an intuitive/natural way to navigate history. In some cases you may not know precisely what "frame" you want to return to, in which case casually fiddling with a slider will produce the best results. And, just as many professional artists begin with scribbles, which gradually take form, playing with an objects timeline (masking random portions) could simply serve as a fun creative tool. It would be interesting to see, for example, what it looks like when you partially obscure a period of your line art history and a period of your color history -- the effect would be unique on your order of operations, how you color, etc.
    Thoughts?

Good suggestions Wim. Both are much requested items, but it is always good to revisit them!
The masking debate is interesting, as it can be combined to localize all edits. Mark Hamburg (adobe) participated in one thread on how this might be accomplished. As I recall, there were two schools of thought (at least): selection vs painting. It was quite exciting to see Mark participate and illuminating too - in the depth of thought that goes into these "features".
Adding the perspctive control to the crop is a logical extension a la photoshop. I hope this is just a matter of time, as the Lr team works their way down the priotity list.
    Cheers
    Rory

  • Is there any way to get my HIstory back?

    Hi there, everyone.
I'm having a problem with a person because of something this person said to me some years ago. However, I can't prove it, because I'm in a new computer, and my Skype history has been lost. I needed my history on two periods of days, November 02nd and 03rd of 2011 and January, 09th, 2012.
Is there any way in which you could help me with this, the person threatened to sue me for what I said she said, and if she does, I'll lose it, because all my proof has been lost in my old computer.
Thanks a lot for your attention.

Do you sync with Outlook or another calendar program. Many calendar programs have an auto archive that removes events from the calendar after a certain period of time. They would be located in the archived calendar if that is the case.

  • The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.

I started getting these errors on one of my lists that has several workflows running on it. The strange thing is it has been running pretty much error free for 1.5 years and we have not made any changes to the workflows and no updates have been applied prior
    to the errors staring.
It is typically always the same workflow but it doesn't always happen, only some of the newly added list items will error. If I simply cancel the current instance and manually start it again it runs fine to completion and it only seems to error out
    at the start.
Most of the other workflows pause/wait for a status change but I will be reviewing all the workflows to confirm there is no locking conflict. I have added a Wait to one other workflow that I know will update the list item on startup, it is populating
the Title column but even after that I am still getting the error.
I noticed in the TraceLogs, 2 errors that started on Feb 2 and I could not find them in any previous logs (went back many days with no occurrences).

Any suggestions on what could be causing the sudden errors. I will be reviewing all other workflows but as I mentioned previously, this system has been working great up until Feb 2 with no changes to the lists or workflows for 3-6+ months.
    Thanks in advance.

Our SPF 2010 server is relatively small to many setups I am sure. The list with the issue only has 4456 items and there are a few associated lists, eg lookups, Tasks, etc see below for count.
    Site Lists
Engagements = 4456 (Errors on this list, primary list for activity)
Tasks = 7711  (All workflow tasks from all site lists)
Clients = 4396  (Lookup from Engagements, Tslips, etc)
Workflow History = 584930 (I periodically run a cleanup on this and try to keep it under 400k)
Tslips = 3522 (Engagements list can create items here, but overall not much interaction between lists)
A few other lists that are used by workflows to lookup associations that are fairly static and under 50 items, eg "Parters Admin" used to lookup a partners executive admin to assign a task.

  • Need urgent help - Bex report

    Dear All,
I am writing a query where I have a KF history and total history.
The chars in rows are Product line and material.
I have created a KF strut and put Cal yr/quat and fiscal yr in cols and in the KF strut I have History and Total history.
I need to display History at Fiscal period/yr level and Total history at Cal yr/quarter level.
I have a hint that may be we can do this by cell referencing, but I have no clue how to do it.
    Please help me urgently.
    Thanks much!
    Sb

    Thanks.
Actually to be specific, i want to display history KF for every fiscal yr/period that is displayed under a particular Cal yr/quart.
    E.g -
if for cal yr/quart 1.2004, there is history data only for jan and feb.
So, in the columns I should see history jan and History feb data at fiscal yr/period level and after these two columns, at Cal ye/quart level I should get a column for Total history i.e total of Jan and feb history.
Like wise I have to calculate Average history too at cal yr/quart level.
I have started doing the cell reference but I am not able to get the desired o/p

  • Web inspector crashes in 5.1.4

In upgraded to Safari 5.1.4 last night. Now I have multiple crashes in web inspector. I want to look at the history.state object in the console, so I type history the the period and web inspector crashes.
I was debugging some javascript and part way through, web inspector crashes.
Web inspector did not do this with 5.1.3.
Being new to the Mac world. I have a MacBook Pro and would like to revert back to Safari 5.1.3 so I can complete my project. Does anyone know how I can revert to the previous version of Safari? I am unable to do my work.

    Hi Tanny ...
It's not possible to "revert" back to a previous Safari version
    Try something..
Go to ~/Library/Safari. Move the History.plist file to the Desktop.
Quit then relaunch Safari. Try the Web Inspector.
If that didn't help, move the History.plist file back to the Safari folder.

  • Squeaky wheel may get the most grease

To Verizon customers using this Forum:
I've learned that if you do not open a trouble ticket or post in this forum everytime you have a problem with your phone service, you are not believed when you tell Verizon support that your phone service is constantly affected with line noise, dropped calls or no dial tone whenever there is heavy rains.
We have had issues for years.  We live in a rural area and were told years ago by a house guest who was a former telephone company employee that the lines on the road are sub-standard.  He could not believe that the wire used on the poles was of the same quality that you would use for interior wiring in a building.  And that was over 10 years ago.  We figured we had to deal with the line noise issues and only reported problem when  dial tone outage lasted more than a day or two.  I'd have to wait until I could get to a working phone anyway to call in the problem.
Now that my husband is home during the day, we are finding that our phone service is interrupted more often than we thought.  He has trouble during the day making calls or will get disconnected in the middle of a call and then not be able to call the person back because there is no dial tone.   The weather has been particularly bad this year ... snow storms that knock out power (we now lose phone service (yes, I have a corded phone, when I thought landlines were immune to this) and heavy rains with flooding.  Since there are people in our county who have lost their homes or businesses, we didn't immediately report the issues that are occurring figuring Verizon had their hands full with trying to restore service to damaged areas.
Then we started having the issue of our line dialing 911 without our knowledge and getting a knock at the door late at night because troopers or sheriff's deputy has to follow up to make sure you are okay.  Last month, we had erroneous charges for use of directory assistance calls that we didn't make ... could this be line calling 411 instead of 911?   The only other option for these directory assistance calls is someone trespassing onto our property and using our telephone without our knowledge.  So I've asked and am waiting for Verizon to provide details call history for the period so I can see if there are phone #s we didn't call either.
Anyway, the moral of the story is that you need to keep reporting and complaining if you have phone service issues.  You can't let them slide figuring they weill self-resolve.  The automatic attendant process that you have to deal with on the phone reporting method is frustrating to use.  Sometimes you can screw with it by swearing or not giving one or the other answer it is seeking to a question ... it will sometimes give up and you'll get routed to a human ... depending on the time of the day.
If you have regular internet access, the Chat feature on this site works pretty good.   I've found the person on the other end is always polite and tries their best to assist you, even if you can't get the answers you are seeking.  Posting in this forum seems to get a lot of attention,  However, make sure you monitor your postings or click the 'subscription' box for email notifications.    Otherwise, if you don't respond back to their postings within a day, your 'case is closed'.  And have fun trying to find 'My Support Cases' link.  Sometimes it appears in your profile and sometimes it doesn't.   Doesn't work on mobile devices.   Maybe it only appears if you have an active 'in process' case opened with Verizon not when you just want to check history of your reported issues.
    Good Luck!

Holy cow! Are we neighbors? We have this same exact problem-to the letter. The last time the actual Verizon repair employee told us that the line was no good. He said he does the same thing every time we have this problem-goes to the junction box down the road and unplugs our line and searches for a good line and plugs us into that line. Total craziness! Replace the stupid line for crying out loud! Jeez!
