History view changes from any of previous days (e.g. Yesterday, Lasst 7 days) to the "Today" view within a few seconds. How to stop this?
When I want to review my browsing history, maybe after losing a session, I can't keep the history view at anything but the "Today" view for more than a few seconds.

By "more than a few seconds" I mean even when I do nothing. I'm aware of the behavior you describe and in previous versions there was a work-around for it. You could select the next history entry before the view changes.

When I stream videos from my laptop onto my Apple TV via my iPad 2 using the Air Video app/server the video plays great however when I pause the video the Apple TV reverts back to the home screen within a few seconds and then when I want to restart watching the video I have to re-buffer the video. I recently shut down my MacBook Pro for the first time in a long time. SInce then, everytime i reboot or awake my laptop from sleep, the Mail app opens unprompted causing my computer to slow down incredibly, and some apps to freeze. I have no idea how to stop this or why it even started doing this. Any ideas on how to get it to stop? Thanks!
I have this problem too with my Macbook Air. Mail opens automatically every time my laptop sleeps. I actually just asked about this in my own thread. However, it is not causing my apps to freeze.

How to get previous day of the date
Hi,
for a given date I need one day minus as a result date
my input would be any date
for example :
Input Date : 2006-03-22 ( yyyy-mm-dd)
Output should be : 2006-03-21
If my input is 1st of April 2006, output i would expect is 31st March 2006
Please suggest how to achieve this

Since i changed to Firefox 4, now i can no longer view the lower portion of my screen which reveals the LOCK security feature. Please advise how to fix this? if I don't hear back today, i will have to undo Firefox 4 completely
the lock symbol has been removed in Firefox 4 and replaced with the [[Site Identity button]]

My iPad 2 only keeps a set number of emails for me to view eventually deleting from the screen. How do stop this as it syncs with my phone and mac book pro neither of which do this?
Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

when i click on a hyper-link, i get the following response: firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (blockedhttp) isn't associated with any program.
My question is: how do i get this hyper-link to open?You have blocking software to change the url to prefix blocked to the url to get '''blockedhttp:''' to prevent you from opening the file. It might be the "Blocksite" extension, but I just typed in something I blocked into the location bar and I didn't see that happen. but that might not be the same as clicking on a link.

My computer sees the auto duplexer on my Epson Stylus PX720WD but iworks says it is not installed. I have contacted Epson and I have the impression that they don't know how to solve this problem. Anyone got any ideas?

I have (or had?) 2 alias My main account is on iCloud. I followed the instructions to go from MobileMe to iCloud. But the alias stayed on MobileMe server (?) How to get this to iCloud? Not possible to put them into icloud as alias. How to keep it working?HELP HELP because people sending me things to this email and since today no excess any more to the mobile me server? <Emails Edited by Host>Firstly, I note that your profile states that you are using OS X 10.5.8, in order to use iCloud on your computer you need OS X 10.7.2 or better.
Secondly, I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Post your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
Finally, are you sure that these additional addresses are aliases and not sub accounts on a family pack, aliases from MobileMe should transfer to an iCloud when you migrate. -
My new nano keeps going into sleep mode every copy of minutes while music is playing. I can't figure out how to stop this. The user guide isn't too helpful. Any ideas?
This is usually a sign that your iPod's headphones are not plugged in all the way. Make sure that you cannot see any of the silver still showing from the headphone's plug. You should hear a sort of popping/clicking noise when inserting the headphones letting you know that they have been fully seated.
