History views

Hello
Im new to workspace manager and have a question about history views.
I need to track history on single data insert/change/delete over multiple related tables (situation before and after the event). My question - how or is it even possible to relate changes in differenet tables or is there any better way to solve this problem?

Hi,
It would depend on exactly what you are trying to do with the data and your specific case. If you want to know the state of these other tables at the same time as a particular dml in some other table, then you could use GotoDate based on the modification time, and query those other tables.
You might also be able to add before and after triggers to the table, that would query these other tables for whatever state information you are looking for and write the result to another table or even store it in the versioned table itself.
Simply joining the history views together might also work in some instances.

  • History view changes from any of previous days (e.g. Yesterday, Lasst 7 days) to the "Today" view within a few seconds. How to stop this?

When I want to review my browsing history, maybe after losing a session, I can't keep the history view at anything but the "Today" view for more than a few seconds.

    Dear [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/681368?#threadId681372 Morbus],
By "more than a few seconds" I mean even when I do nothing. I'm aware of the behavior you describe and in previous versions there was a work-around for it. You could select the next history entry before the view changes.

  • Designer - RON, rev. 9.0.4.6: Version History Viewer: Query Inclusions

    Good day,
Recently I started using Designer's above mentioned version. Gradually one gets to discover things that have changed, which are possibly not documented.
One very handy option that seems to fail to work is the possibility - in the Version History Viewer - to right-click on a red, blue or white bullet representing a version of an object, and then selecting either Included in Workareas, Included in Configuration and Version Properties. None of these work.
I remember in Designer 6i it worked, but not anymore, unless I am missing something. I used them very often and really miss these options. Hope somebody can give me some more information on this topic.
    Kind regards,

This problem is known and is being followed up. But these buttons could still be used if you invoke the version history viewer from the command line tool.
RON menu -> tools -> command line tool.
Then issue the 'vhv' command on the required object .
Once the version history viewer comes up you can click on the versions and invoke the version properties or included in configuration/ workareas information

  • Problem in Version History Viewer

We have recently upgraded DESIGNER from 9.0.2.91.9 to 10.1.2.0.2.
We have versioning turned on (was also on in 9i).
When in the 'Version History Viewer' of any element, we get no response when selecting - Version properties or Included in configuration .. or Included in Workarea ..
Does anyone else have this issue ???

    Hi Friends,
After upgrading the JDK version from 1.5 to 1.6 we're able to open up the document in both Basic & Advanced viewer of IPM.

  • "History viewer" in new Lr?

Have found that Ctrl+Z works well in "stepping down a History", but only while program is open. After it was closed and opened again, the "command cache" is empty, which I found quite disturbing.
Could we have an "Overall History Viewer" ("Command History"?) in Lr, where I could fresh up my memory about what the last photo I was worked on last night and jump right to it?
Or maybe just a list of "recent edited photos"?

    Or like this :
    for example.

  • Personalization and History view in the BEx Open dialog box

We have personalization activated for BEx and have turned it on for :
         -Activate BEx History ON
         -Variables Personalization ON
         -Web Report  Personalization ON
When users log in the History button appears when they attempt to open a BEx Query.
However when they click the History button the message "No Objects Found" appears.
These users have opened queries in the past and are not new IDs.  We also created test IDs and generated some history by running queries and workbooks.  When these test IDs try to open queries the history button still says "No Objects Found".
We are on NW2004s BI.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to why this functionality is not working properly?
    thank you in advance.

What versions of Photoshop and Windows are you running?
I ask, because running Photoshop CS5 and Windows 7 x64 when I select a view - e.g., Large Icons (which yields thumbnails) it sticks.  Make sure you actually open a file after making the change.

  • Infoview Crystal Report History Viewing

Not sure if this is the best forum for this question.
I am using Crystal Report XI Server and have a report that has been published and scheduled to run everyday. The report has several formulas that make use of built in built functions; LastYearYTD, LastYearMTD, MonthToDate, YearToDate, etc.
When looking at an historical instance it seems that the data is current, my understanding was that the data would be 'saved' and you would see the data at the point at which the instance was created.
For example if I look at the instance for 12 Nov, the LastYearYTD figure is up to the current date, the MonthToDate Figure is Zero. It appears that the YearToDate figures are correct.
If somebody could clarify the situation with regard history items and built in functions it would be appreciated.

Sorry - if you are using the CRYSTAL REPORTS viewer in InfoView formulas for fields that use LastFullMonth etc are RE-CALCULATED in the viewer based on when you OPEN the report....
Therefore, when you look at an Instance run on June 1st on June 1st the results are OK, but if you view the June 1st instance on October 1st the LastFullMonth values are ZERO.
The bad news is that there is no way to get back into the "time machine" and recover those formulas as they appeared on June 1st.
The good news is that you have some options moving forward.
1.) Run the INSTANCES to PDF format, so that the formulas are not re-calculated on open in the Viewer.
2.) Use hand-written formulas in your reports that are based on the DATADATE value (eg. DataDate - 30) instead of the LastFullMonth etc. when the reports open in the Crystal Viewer.

  • Is there a way to collapse the library history view so instead of seeing individual entries they are all grouped by Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc.?

In a previous version of Firefox, when I brought up history using Ctrl+Shift+H, the library would show my history collapsed into Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc. In the current version of Firefox I am using, it shows each individual entry. Is there a way to change this view?

There are two panes one on the left one on the right.
*The right-hand one shows content of folders from the tree on the left.
*Clicking the black arrow-head on the clock denoting the top of the History collapses or expands that part of the tree.
*Clicking the clock itself displays the top content on the right i.e. it will display the folders for Today etc.
*Click any folder and the content of that folder then displays on the right. If you have used the browser quite a bit you probably need to scroll the righthand pane to see all the content.
The bookmarks are also within folders that behave in a similar manner. With certain viewing options you will even see that type of behaviour when looking at some Windows files and folders.

  • ST02 - Swaps history view

I have 2 queries re the ST02 screens...
    1. In the performance advisor notes, it mentions checking "swaps per day" via ST02 in, for example, the program buffer. However, the listed figures for each day are incremented totals.  Why is this not just the daily swaps figure? Is it just a historical view that no one has bothered to change??
    2. What is the value of the average swaps at the bottom of this list when it is the value of the incremented totals. I cannot understand a need for this particular value and would like to understand exactly what it is telling me. Surely, the average daily value is something that could be very helpful as a first glance.

  • ML81n and ME23N - PO history view. (MM)

    Hi guys,
Can U help me on what to do regarding with SES, when i enter new qty value for SES and it exceeds against PO net price it always display the defect in PO history. We want the PO history not to accept the exceed value..Sometime in our PRODUCTION environment the message SE363 has not been raised even if we enter an exceed qty value against PO net price and again it will reflect in PO history ..
What is remedy on this, do i need to setup something here..?
    Thanks' and have great day!..

We do not require a GR on everything.  Therefore, the delivery note field is not populated.
Is there another way of getting the vendor's reference number on the PO history screen next to the invoice document, regardless of GR?
FYI...I just tested this in our Dev system.  I put some comments in the delivery note field for the GR.  But, the invoice reference will differ from this note.  PO history will not populate the reference field at the invoice level.

  • RFC call history - View Parameter data

    Hi all!
I would like to view the parameter values of an incomming RFC call made by an external system. Is this possible?
    I have had a look at ST01 and ST05 and ST11...
(Obviously I have activated the trace with "RFC Trace" checkbox selected and run through a few calls via the external system (which were successful) and then turned off the trace)
    - ST01 and ST05 (same functionality?) do not even list the function calls!?
    - ST11 (error log!) does list the function module but it only says how many bytes were sent and received, and does not appear to have parameter specific details...
    Thanks for any clues!
    N

Hi N K and others with a similar problem
I am not aware of the possibiblity to see the parameters. But I had a similar problem as I am calling a function module in SAP through a webservice, but the response was not as expected. To see the input parameter I added a HTTP breakpoint in the function module I was trying to call.
Remember in the function builder to activate the external debugger for the user making the call ("Utilities" -> "User-specific Settings" -> "ABAP Editor" -> "Debugging")
When the debugger stopped at my brekpoint i was able to see the parameters.
Hope this helps anyone out there
    Best regards

  • How do I make a feature request for Firefox? Need for "Keep this website" in right-click menu for History viewing.

During my daily Firefox sessions (w/over 300 RSS feeds), I commonly visit about 50 web sites. At the end of a session I may only want to keep one or a few history entries and have to manually delete the rest. I always keep one in particular.
It would be infinitely easier if the capability of "Keep this Site" option were available in the right-click menu which would mean deleting the remainder of the history entries not marked to be kept, in conjunction with the History delete options in Firefox Preferences.
Note: This is a real User need I have, and possibly many others would like the versatility.

You can click the star in the location bar to bookmark a site that you want to keep.

  • Viewing Safari Form History

I am useing Version 5.1.7 (6534.57.2) of Safari.
I signed up for a website on August 8, 2012 and I can't remember the email address I used to sign up. I thought I had my form history saved so that when I start to type, the autofill finishes it but I guess it doesn't work for me.
Is there anyway that I can find the email address I used by going through Safari's settings?
I hope this question makes sense.
Also, where can I view the screen shots that Safari takes for the browing history view?

Click History in the Safari menu bar and select "Wednesday, August 8" at the bottom the dropdown.
If you find the site you visited click it to open it.
Availability of this depends on the settings in the Safari Preferences.
Safari > Preferences > General > "Remove history items:"
    Best.
