Homesharing not finding new purchases

Homesharing worked as recent as 4/8/11. Today I can't get it to. my PC will check for purchases on the Mac, but will not find them. I have made sure that both computers has the most recent version of itunes. I have restarted both, and turned homeshareing on and off...many, many, many times.
Got anything else to try?

Try playing one or more of the Purchased Songs within iTunes. That usually gets the process working after a computer authorization.
Then re-sync your iPod.

Can not sync new purchased apps to iPhone

Dear Friends
For about a month now any new purchases in iTunes on my computer will not sync to my iPhone. In the My Phone > iPhone >Apps window I move the new apps onto the iPhone screens. Then press Apply to sync. It starts to sync and then on the step (3 I think) - determined tracks to sync, the apps disappear from the iPhone window and are not added to the iPhone. I have restored, resetted, restarted, downloaded and reinstalled iTunes etc... several times and still I get the same behaviour. Please does anyone know how I can fix this.

Check Settings>General>Restrictions on your phone to be sure that Installing Apps is set to On. Also, in iTunes on your computer be sure on the Apps tab of your sync settings that you have checked each of the apps that you want to sync to your phone, and that your computer is authorized for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase them in iTunes>Store>Authorize this computer.

I can not create new Purchase Orde

Hi experts,
I have a problem, i am tryin to create a new Purchase Order by the portal, i go to tab Purchasing, and after, i click in Purchase Order. Appear a new windows, where i have to select the system:
- Local SRM System where appear different purchase order
- R3 US Back end where not appear nothing.
If i select one of the Local SRM System, and click in create button, appear an error:
Purchasing group could not be determined; inform system administrator.
What happend?

"Faces" not finding new photo additions

I have added about 200 new photos to my Aperture library, edited them, and then gone to faces. For each face selected I get a short message that the program is looking for matches. However, it does not find any, despite the fact that all of the new photos are of my 5 grandkids, all of which have a Faces collection. How can I fix this? Thanks!

I do not work for apple and I don't know what algorithms they are using. However, I work in image processing and recognition and so I think I might add to the discussion.
Typically what is done is that you separate detection from recognition. There is a face detector that detects anything that looks like a face and a face recognizer which then tries to put a label on the face.
The detector really does two things: It finds all faces in each image and also determins their size and orientation. Usually this is done by locating both eyes. This means that only those faces are found where both eyes are visible. From the position of the eyes it can guess the size and orientation of the face.
The detector then rotates and scales the face as input to the face recognizer.
Typically, the detector is trained on faces only once and then shipped with the application. Adding more faces to the database does not improve the performance of the detector. It only improves the performance of the recognizer.
Note that his is the typical way things are done. This does not mean that apple is doing it a little bit differently.

TS2776 Iphone not sinking new purchases from Muscic Library on pc?

Suggestion needed. My Iphone 3GS is not sinking my new purchases from Music Library on Vista Windows pc?

iTunes still works with ALL iPods, back the original iPod.
The latest iTunes may hide the sidebar. From the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
Does your iPod appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES?
If it does, select it there. Over to the right, there is a row of "tabs" (starting with Summary). Click on Music there. This screen is where you tell iTunes how to sync your iPod with songs from the iTunes library. You need to set it up, so that the songs you want on the iPod are included in your selection. If your entire iTunes Music library will fit on the iPod, you can choose the option for Entire music library. Otherwise, choose Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.
NOTE: If the iPod already has songs on it, its current content will be replaced by your selection on the Music tab, when you click Apply.

PSE 9 not finding new photos in files.

PSE 9 does not find the new photos that I add to my windows folders. Previously it had found the photos, showed me the thumbnails and then imported them. It no longer does this. I am using Vista.

If you are trying to see your purchase history then you should be able to do that on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu.
If you are wanting to re-download past purchases then not all content types can be re-downloaded in all countries (e.g. music, films, tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all, and audiobooks and ringtones can't be re-downloaded anywhere), but what you can re-download whould show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes and App Store apps, and via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

Can not install new purchased Adobe Acrobat X Pro DVD

I just recieved from Adobe a purchased full Acrobat X Pro DVD for installing on my computer. Upon attempting to install I find a drop down box stating "your system has not been modified" My system meets and or exceeds all the stated system recommendations from Adobe and I have opened my firewall. What next please???

What system? What other Adobe software on it? You need to be more specific. If it says "not modified" it thinks there is already a version of Acrobat X and that may be the case if you ran a trial. If so, simply activate it using the serial. No need to reinstall.

Itunes on windows vista not downloading new purchases

I recently received an Inspiron E1505, and am running windows Vista Basic. I have Itunes 7, and it works fine except for when I purchase music. Then it receives an error of connection timing out or unable to download the songs. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've tried bypassing my router, disabling all firewalls (McAffee, Windows, and Windows Defender), contacted Dell and my ISP, and now I'm at a loss. Please help?

I am having exactly same problems as have been mentioned with my new machine and I too am running Vista. Has anybody any suggestions or been able to find a solution? I have been able to download some purchases, which initially came up with this same message and then later successfully downloaded. I have another purchase just sitting waiting to be downloaded but now keep getting this 3259 connection timing out error.

New laptop not syncing new purchases

I just bought a new dell laptop. I have authorized the itunes library on my new lap(it's my 3rd pc that's authorized) and it has my purchased songs, but now I've purchased some new ones, and the new songs won't sync.
Any ideas?

Hazel can no longer find new purchases?

I have been using Hazel to copy purchased music from iTunes store to a directory on my NAS.
I am using Lion and itunes 10.5.2. - just updated itunes. All had been working well until the update.
It would appear that itunes is no longer placing purchases in the user/music/itunes/media directory but, instead is saving it directly into subdirectories on my NAS.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening.
itunes has 'copy files to itunes media folder when adding to library' selected. Although, this was selected before the update, I believe.
Any help gratefully received.

Photos are not downloaded from iTunes.
Import them from the iDevice to your computer as you would with any other digital camera and leave iTunes out of the equation.

Mail not finding new imap mailboxes

Hi
I have multiple devices Mac, iPhone, iPad and run multiple email accounts. If I create a new mailbox folder on any device other than my MacBook Pro then the mail app on that won't see the new folder - and I can't find a way of making it do so short of completely removing the mail account and adding it. Quitiing mail, asking it sync etc does nothing.
On other apps, e.g. Thunderbird, you can go to Subscribe to find folders that haven't been picked up

Similar issue here I think. Certainly started about the same time.
I have multiple (IMAP) emal accounts.
All email accounts with my one host have the same issue -- after tunring on the computer, or after a long sleep (don't know exact cut-off, but shorter sleeps don't seem to cause the issue) it can take a long time before all the error symbols disappear (sometimes the account will still receive, even before the error symbol goes away).
Our accounts with my ISP (also IMAP) work as expected, as do our GMAIL accounts.
These same symptoms occur on all 3 of our macs (all running Lion), and all worked fine before sometime in March. The same accounts all work fine on our iOS devices.
Keep wishing the issue will suddenly go away (like it suddenly appeared).

I did a file clean up and after that I was not able to play music or watch movies.
the message I get when I click on movies or music is can not be used because original
file is not found. would you like to locate file. when I click to locate file, the message I Get is file not found.

What did you 'clean up' ? It sounds like you deleted your music and films from your computer - since doing it have you emptied your computer's recycle bin/trashcan, or are some/all of your music and/or films still in it so that you can put them back ?
If not then you might be able to redownload some/all of your past purchases - what you will be able to redownload will depend upon whether you've moved countries since buying them (you can't potentially redownload another country's purchases unless you return to the country), and whether the rights-holder has removed them from the store. What you can redownload will show via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. If you still have the item listed in the Music / Movies part of your library then iTunes will assume that you still have them somewhere and won't show the cloud against them in Purchased for redownloading - you will need to delete those entries (where you are getting the 'unable to locate' message when trying to play them) from your library for the cloud icon to show against them in Purchased.

Network times out when itunes re-sent lost files but not for new purchases.

My backup drive crashed and lost all my itunes files. Itunes was kind enough to re-send all my purchases (1 time only offer). The only problem is, I can't download them. My downloads shows over 700 files available for download but when I to download them it gives me the "unable to check for available downloads" and "your network connection timed out". I tried all the usual tricks, I uninstalled and re-installed itunes, turned off all anti-virus and firewalls, I ran the flushdns, I did the IE "uncheck security certificate". Nothing. Here's the kicker, I purchased a different television series from itunes store and it downloaded without any problems. I even tried to simultaneously check available downloads as the new TV series was downloading and it still have the same error message.
Any ideas?

With 700 downloads, you are probably going to have to go back to itunes support and ask them to split your downloads up into chunks. Other folks have had to ask itunes store support to put 99 items in their download queue, then the next 99, until they are all downloaded.
Ask them to do that for you. Don't open a new ticket; just keep replying to whatever case you had already opened.
