Hot to copy document items in process order

is there any settings to copy document items to process order?
I have added item categary D in master recipe (BOM of material) of material.
But when i create process order for that material, documents items is not getting copied.
is any setting is there to copy it?

Dear Vishal,
If my understanding is correct, then I think document items does not gets copied into process order and further to this there is
no key's to view the document as like that is available in a production order.
If you check at the header - general data in a process order only operation/component overview keys will be available, where
as in a production order in addition to these keys, you can check for document overview and sequence overview key's
available.
I'm unable to get any link in SAP help related to the same.Correct me if my understanding is wrong.

  • Changing BOM-items in Process Order not allowed

    that Hello,
Mi client is asking me if it is posible, once created a Process Order, upon modifying the order (COR2), that the user can not change any of the cuantities and batches of the material list (BOM) updated in the Process Order.
Is there any way one can protect the material list from being modified once created, or once liberated the order?
Is it posible, moreover to just protect the BOM ítems updated in the Process order but let the option open to add exta BOM ítems manually.
Is there a userexit or a Badi one can use to acomplish this?
    Thanks for any reply.
    Aart

    Hi Aart,
Yes, you can use BADI to protect the BOM items from not to change the BOM items in Process order.
In one of our project we have taken the help from the ABAPer, has has done the same thing.
Then we have acheived the same requirement.
You check with the ABAPer, he will help you for the requirement.
    Thanks

  • Missing document items in Sales Order in the receiving system

    Hello.
We're doing passing of message type ORDERS (ORDERS05) from one system to another. Idocs were posted successfully but we can't find the document items in the receiving system if we view a particular sales order in VA03. Document items are present in the sending system.
I checked segment E1EDP01 (document items segment) for the inbound idocs and found all items attached to the sales order but we can't see them in VA03 display.
Appreciate help on how to proceed/check this issue.
    Thanks. =)

If you have verified that the IDOC was complete in the receiving system, I would use WE19 to copy the IDOC in the receiving system (or copy to a development instance of that system) and run the process in debug....someone will have to watch the process, I think and see what is happening to the VBAP table during sales order build.

  • BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE Material Document Posting against Process Order

    Dear Experts,
I want to post more than one documents from BAPI "BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE". It is working fine for GR(gmcode = 02) 101 Mvt. type. But the problem is that when there is a GI (gmcode = 03), serial numbers document comes; it display an error as " Content of order 1000400: 40000134 transferred to interface (IMSEG)".
My Question is that: Is this a correct BAPI for serial numbers assigned materials, OR I should use another bapi for these serial number materials.
Will you please let me know the name of the BAPI which I should use in this regards.
***** I am using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE as follows for Process Orders:::::

The function is intended to create a single document , Here is an excerpt from the FM documentation :
    Functionality
You can use this method to create a material document for a goods movement.
You can only create one material document each time you call up the method.
You can use a simulation function before posting the goods movement to check how the data is updated in the database. The standard system is configured so that the goods movement is posted immediately, without prior simulation.

  • Track Deleted BOM item in Process Order

    Hi Guys,
I am facing one issue which is described as below.
when user is converting the Planned order into Process order at that time he has deleted 1 BOM item.
Now i he is saying that i have not deleted that item and after that he released and done the GI conf GR.
Now i want to track the change history but i am not able to find the changes done by him.
I have check so many blogs but i come to know that if he is deleting BOM item during creation we will not able to find.
    Pls help

    Hi D R,
To the best of my knowledge at the time of creation if some component has been deleted, you can not  track. Because up to that time table entry has not happened. After saving you can see the component.
If you have some existing process order which is without item deletion, you can compare and check. As well Check the BOM in CS03 and check the BOM inside process order. You can easily find out the component.
Hope this clarifies and at per your requirement.
    Success.

    Krishnendu.

  • Document flow for process order

    Hi:
In SD and MM we are able to track document flow from invoice to sale order . In PP if i display a FERT process order , how can i find its related SFG process order. Please guide. Can it be seen from COR3?
    Regards

    Dear Farooq,
In my understanding this can be tracked in a collective order concept and not in a normal production/process order scenario.
Check this link to understand more, but I need to check whether this option would be possible when working with process
    orders,

  • How to track changes for Process Order

    Dear All,
how can i have change documents for a process order like , which user have done Batch determination, order release,  operation confirmation and GI and GR.
if i can understand  there is an option in process order GOTO->LOGS->....... to view some of these information but that is not working on my side saying "There are no entries in the release log ". how to activate these logs...
    thanks to all
    Zeeshan

    Dear,
You can find Changes Details in Order Status tab(Blue Ikon)
GO to that Ikon ---> Extras --> Change Documents --> All ---> Then Press All Changes
Please refer  SAP note 390635 .
But if you want change document in details or restrict changes then you have to use OCM :-Order Change management.

  • GR of Process order - Document does not contain selectable items

    Hi Guru's,
While doing GR for process order, user is not able to do the GR because of the below message:
Document XXXXXX does not contain selectable items
The other user is able to do the GR. The status of process order is
REL PCNF PRC EXPL EXTS GMPS MANC PDLV. There is overdelivery tolerance so, the delivered quantity is more than ordered qty.
There is no auto GR setting, no COGI errors, no final delivery indicator, no authorisation issue.
What could be the reason for this ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Kalyan

    Hi Dee Joy,
I am using MIGO for posting the GR. So, kinldy let me know what setting in MIGO needs to be done.

  • Settling the Process Order to a Sales document Item

    Hi all,
I have a unique scenario.. I want a forecatsed Service material (Treating it as MTS Material) to be settled against a Sales Document Item (SDI). (It is like a combination of MTS and MTO).
We have maintained a ne w Order Type with a new settlement rule. Every time I create a process Order, I want to enter the settlement rule on the overview screen. I get the following error.
"Settlement account assignment" not allowed (Sys. status NoMP, object VB0000000236000010)".
Does any of you have faced similar issue?
Is there a solution for this?
    Thanks in Adavance..

    Nanjund:
the key here seems to be the strategy for the material.
According to your requirement, the alternative could be strategy 50.
    Process:
    - sales plan for the material
    - planning for the material will create Unconvertible planned orders (this allows the planning of raw materials )
    - enter the sales order
    - planning under these conditions will reduce PIR and create a "normal" planned order
    - Convert to process order
    - settlement will be directed to the sales order.

  • Material Code for Process Order Settlement document

    HI,
When Process Order to a material having Standard Price is settled, the following entry is passed.
    Inventory Change A/C Debit/Credit
    Price difference A/C Debit/Credit
It is being obeserved that in the line item of FI document for the Inventory Change the material code appears in the Price difference line items whereas for Inventory Change line item the material code does not appear.
I want to know why this happens ?
    Regards
    Partha

    Using warehouse management /WM) :
    - Create a control cycle for the component, using LPK1. Here you define if the supply will be specific for the order (when weighing takes place in the warehouse) or for released orders (normallu full packages of components and weighing is done at plant level). Reference to a supply area.
    - The resource used in the operation has a reference to the supply area.
    - Components have material master views in WM for the selected storage type
Then, when releasing the orders run LP10 - LP12 to generate the Transfer requirements for the raw materials. These TR will be converted to Transfer Orders and Confirmed, so the stock will be moved to your supply area.
Using Inventory Management, none of the above is required. You can use MF60 to move materials from General Storage Location to Shop Floor SLoc.

  • Storage location not getting copied in process order for components

    Dear PP Gurus,
While making a production /process order the storage location of component materials is not getting copied from material master into the process order, it is showing any default storage location.
What couls be the reason for it..
For all components it is defaulting the same storage location.
Please throw some light on the issue what could be the reasoon for it..

    Dear,
System determine issue storage location from the material master, the value of the storage location of the BOM item, or the storage location from the supply area.
Check in BOM component details storage location you have defined.
Check production storage location from the plant segment of the component is taken into account for the use of MRP areas also. When planned order is being created for the superior assembly in a MRP area?
Also check the Material requirements planning (PP-MRP)
    --> planning process
--> BOM explosion and dependent requirements determination
--> storage location determination for BOM explosion

  • Item number to be regenerated when copying from contract to sales order

    Hi,
I am copying items from contract to sales order, say there are 10 items in contract. I copy all items leaving 5th & 7th item in contract. The numbers in sales order has to be in sequence (regenerated leaving the 5th & 7th line item) rather than it is copying the line item number as in the contract. Can any one kindly suggest me how to handle this in sales order.
    Thanks
    Ghanesh

    Hi,
    In VTAA
QT to OR at header level
REMOVE TICKMARK OF COPY ITEM NUMBER
Then system will genrate new item numbers in targer document.

    Dear Zafar,
Check if there is a copy control between your sale order types in VTAA.
If yes, then in the item category, uncheck 'Update document flow' and then check.
    Thanks & Regards,
