Hours aren't confirmed in PS

Hi folks,
For employee Emp.1 some hours (in the period from 1.3.2007 – 31.3.2007) booked on 2 Networks X and Y, in some of the days he is entered the timesheet in CAT2 for both the Network Activities (where ever he entered on the same date for both the Network Activities) I have found in CATSPS-SPLIT =1
The data is transferred to PS, and the record is presented in the CATSPS table.
The problem occurs because these records aren’t automatically confirmed, and therefore not presented as costs in PS. This means that through CN30 and CN27 the records need to be confirmed.
These records needs to be confirmed, before they will present costs in PS.
Questions
Therefore three questions:
•     What is ‘wrong’ with these records that these records aren’t automatically confirmed, the same as all other records?
•     How can these records be put on confirmed? and what is the meaning of split number 1 found in CATSPS-SPLIT
Any kind of suggestions r welcome and will be rewarded well.
Thanks in advance,
Harisha

  • Labour hour calculation in confirmation

    Hi,
I have a scenario where one employee is assigned common to two capcities of one work centers.
While taking up production of two products in a same work center in two capacities how the labour hour would be calculated. Example:
    Work center : W001, No.Of Individual Machine Capacities -2
                                   No.Of Individual Labour Capacities -1.
Two Production orders released in work centers for the same time. One order is run for 6 hrs in a shift, another order is run for 8 hrs in the same shift(Means upto 6hrs both were in parallel, then last 2 hours only one order was ruuning),Labour performs both the orders in parallel as he manages both machines. How much is the labour time to be entered in CO11N confirmation for each order.

    Hi,,
U can see the labor cost. But prior to that u have to mention the workcenter in the order and in work center u have to mention capacity of work center and mention the formula for cost calculation cost.all this have to first configure in work center prior to use in any order then order give u cost of the Labor according to Ur Order time confirmation your timing should be 6 hrs and 8 hrs as there are two order we want to calculate the cost of each order.

  • I've registered for the Firefox support forum, but the confirmation email hasn't come (after 3 + hours and 2 extra requests to "resend" it).

Besides the original registration, and 2 additional requests for the confirmation email, plus asking a previous question, which appears to have triggered the sending of yet another confirmation email, I've received none! And I really don't mind waiting an hour for a confirmation email, but 3 hours and counting is not acceptable.
And there appears to be no other way to contact anyone about anything -- except for a feedback form in which you have to explain the problem in one or 2 short sentences.
Yes, I've checked my ISP and my email is working fine. The test message I sent myself arrived in under one second! I've checked my spam folders, and they aren't there either.....not one.
    Thanks for your help :-)

  • Confirmation for working hours

    Hi All,
my client requirement is let say breakdown occur for repair it require 4 hour but due to unavailabilty of spare it will take 2 day or 36 hours so during confirmation it will put as 36+4= 40 but actuall is 4 hours, so what will be solution for this..?
    Regds
    Vinit

    Hi vinit,
this is a very critical issue that u have hielighted,
as the production ppl will never take anything on themselves that is there productivity wll come down
and they wll try to put all the 36 hours in the maintenance kity.
but u can not do that because u have to calculate the cost of maintenance for which there wll b some activity cost such as technician and labour. because they have worked only for 4 hours.
therefore u need to make sure that u put up only 4 hours in ur ur orders.
but the rest down time of production wll have to b beared by the maintenance as of the non availability of spare is there problem.
hope it clears ur doubt up-to certain extent..

  • CM01 - How to see actual confirmed hours?

    Hi there,
This relates to capacity planning for normal Production Orders.
I am able to use CM01 transaction to see planned labour hours (calculated from routing). However the report doesn't seem to show confirmed hours, or remaining hours (planned minus confirmed). This seems strange since it's a capacity report shouldn't we be able to see actual capacity too?
I know I can use COOIS to see confirmed quantity, but then it doesn't show Planned Orders which we also want..
    Thank you!

    Hi sfsm97,
I think what you are looking for can be found in a report called "Capacity Evaluation"
Go to Transaction code CM50 and give work center details.
you will get details like Rem.cap.reqs      Avail.capacity   Rem. avail. capacity
and as fat as your second question is concerned regarding details of planned orders.
Planned orders do not generate capacity requirement. So you will not get any details of that sort regarding planned orders.
I hope this helps you. Let us know if you need additional details.
    Regards,
    Abhay Kapase

  • How do I get my phone billed corrected without wasting another 3 hours?

On March 3, 2015, I ordered two “iPhone 6 plus 64 GB” along with 2 protective cases from verizonwireless.com/. The iPhones were on the edge plan, one was an upgrade and the other was a new line being transferred from Sprint.  They were to be shipped overnight.  FedEx attempted delivery on March 4, 2015, but we were not at home at the time. There was a snow storm on March 5, 2015 so I don’t think there were any deliveries that day.  On March 6, 2015, I checked the tracking information as I had not received the packages yet.  The tracking information said they were delivered but I did not have them.  I had to call FedEx twice on March 6, 2015 to find out where they were delivered.  They called me back and told me they were incorrectly delivered to the Verizon store and were going to attempt to retrieve the packages and redeliver them.  I called FedEx back on March 7, 2015 and found out they were delivered to 14937-C Shady Grove Rd, Rockville, MD 20850, which is The Wireless Center, Inc. an authorized Verizon retailer.  I went to this store that morning and the store clerk told me that he remembered them receiving two packages with iPhones and cases, and they didn’t know what they were for.  He looked about the storage room a few times but was not able to locate them and called his store manager who was on his way to the store.  I came back later to the store and spoke with the store manager and he told me they didn’t have my packages and that I would have to call Verizon to resend the phones.  I called FedEx again on March 7, 2015 to let them know that it was unlikely that they would be able to retrieve the packages.  I called them again the following week on March 10, 2015 and they confirmed that they were unable to retrieve the packages (Spent a total of 37 minutes on the phone with just FedEx trying to track down the shipments).  I also called Verizon Wireless on March 7, 2015 to get new iPhones shipped.  I told the customer service rep. the above information and requested to get new phones sent.  She told me that she initiated a “ticket” and would call me back in 24 hours and she confirmed that she would be able to call me in 24 hours as the following day was a Sunday.  I never received a call back from this customer service rep.  I called Verizon Wireless again on March 10, 2015 to check to see if new iPhones were sent and when I should expect to receive them.  The customer service rep. told me I should call back tomorrow as there was no update to the “ticket.” So I called back on March 11, 2015 and got the same response that there was no update to the “ticket” and to call back tomorrow.  So again I called back on March 12, 2015 and at that point I just wanted the nightmare over and the orders canceled and refunded so I could maybe try ordering again at a later time(Maybe with another phone carrier as my years of loyalty was running thin).  The third time was the charm so I thought, the customer service rep. on March 12, 2015 told me the orders were canceled and my plan would go back to what I had before the orders as well as refunds for the protective cases.  Well that has yet to correctly happen.  I received a refund for one of the protective cases on March 12, 2015 for $35.76, but still have yet to receive a refund for the other protective case that was charged to my credit card on March 4, 2015 for $27.81. I got a huge surprise as the nightmare continued, when I got my March 15, 2015 phone bill.  It had all the charges for the new iPhones as of March 4, 2015 that I never received.  So I called Verizon Wireless again to correct.  The customer service rep. said it would be corrected on my next phone bill. So I waited for my April 15, 2015 phone bill and it was missing the credits that I was supposed to receive and still charging me for the edge installments for one of the iPhones that I never received.  So here I was again calling Verizon Wireless, this time the customer service rep. told me that she initiated two forms to process the credits and I would be contacted within 7-10 business days.  Which is where we are now, still waiting for billing credits and having already spent over 120 minutes on hold or speaking with Verizon Wireless customer service reps. and another 37 minutes speaking with FedEx customer service reps., not to mention the 20 plus minutes ordering the phones and the other 20 minutes spent trying to recover the packages at the Wireless Center, Inc. store. Over 3 hours of my time wasted and I have got nothing and the issue is still not resolved.

1st - any charges on a credit card, call the credit card company and dispute those charges
2nd - get all your paperwork together and in order of the timeline of events and file an official complaint with Verizon.
    http://www.verizonwireless.com/dam/support/pdf/Notice_of_Dispute.pdf
HOW AND WHEN CAN I DISPUTE CHARGES?
If you're a Postpay customer, you can dispute your bill within 180 days of receiving it, but unless otherwise provided by law or unless you're disputing charges because your wireless device was lost or stolen, you still have to pay all charges until the dispute is resolved. If you're a Prepaid customer, you can dispute a charge within 180 days of the date the disputed charge was incurred. YOU MAY CALL US TO DISPUTE CHARGES ON YOUR BILL OR ANY SERVICE(S) FOR WHICH YOU WERE BILLED, BUT IF YOU WISH TO PRESERVE YOUR RIGHT TO BRING AN ARBITRATION OR SMALL CLAIMS CASE REGARDING SUCH DISPUTE, YOU MUST WRITE TO US AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADDRESS ON YOUR BILL, OR SEND US A COMPLETED NOTICE OF DISPUTE FORM (AVAILABLE AT VERIZONWIRELESS.COM), WITHIN THE 180–DAY PERIOD MENTIONED ABOVE. IF YOU DO NOT NOTIFY US IN WRITING OF SUCH DISPUTE WITHIN THE 180-DAY PERIOD, YOU WILL HAVE WAIVED YOUR RIGHT TO DISPUTE THE BILL OR SUCH SERVICE(S) AND TO BRING AN ARBITRATION OR SMALL CLAIMS CASE REGARDING ANY SUCH DISPUTE.

  • College Student Deals: No confirmation email!

My son has tried repeatedly to sign up for the College Student Deals, and has yet to receive an email confirmation from Best Buy. He has checked his spam filter, and I verified the email address is valid by sending him an email. The school doesn't block marketing emails.
    Help!

    Hi scfarm,
With the school year fast approaching, I’m sure your son is trying to get everything sorted before making the big move to college.  I know how stressful that can be having done just that a few years ago myself.  I also know that it’s imperative to save money when you can, because let’s face it; college can be unbelievably expensive.  Our College Student Deals is a great way to do that, so I can imagine your son’s frustration in not getting the coupons he’s requesting.
While it sounds like you’ve tried to troubleshoot this issue on your own, there are a few possible reasons for not receiving the confirmation email.
    ·         A valid .edu email address was not entered
    ·         Your son’s school may block marketing emails from Best Buy (you’ve eliminated this one)
    ·         Your email account may be set up to block spam (it sounds like you’ve checked already)
    ·         It has not yet been 24 hours for the confirmation email or 72 hours for the coupon emails
If your son has a valid .edu email address and waited the 24 hours for the email to generate, please send me a private message with your son’s school email address using the button included in my signature below. I’ll be glad to see what options we may have from there.
    Thanks for posting!

  • Possibility of confirming half Day!

    Hi,
Is there a possibility to confirm the network activity for half day?
Ex: i maintained work for 8 hours, when i confirm the network activity for 4 hours, then system should confirm only half day.
The confirmation duration in the network activity should be shown as 0.5 day instead of 1 day.
    Rgds
    John

Actually if you see 'duration' and 'work' do not have relationship during confirmation. It is possible that you were available for half day but how much actually you spent on the 'work'. 'Work' is also measured in terms of cost but not the 'duration'. So ,anyway you will need to enter the 'work' during confirmation.
I think system is pretty flexible allowing to enter the 'work' and 'duration' in different proportion (for all practical purposes).
    Regards,
    Mahendra

  • Confirmation on TimeSheet

    Dear All,
We would like to configure the time sheet (CAT2) to confirm working hours with the confirmation number (AFVGD-RUECK) of operations.
How is it possibile to insert a column into the timesheet, that the users can directly insert the confirmation number?
Actualy this is done with the ordre and operation number. But I'm sure there is a bettter way...
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas -
While entering the hours in CATS, there is no cfirmation number against it. At this point of time entries are available only at CATS level. (CATSDB and CATSPM)
The confirmation number will get generated only when the hours are transferred from CATS to PM.
(Ie. when the hours are transferred from CATSPM to AFRU/AFVC).
    Thanks,
    NB

  • Internet connection dropping this week

Internet disconnecting on a daily basis since Tuesday 9 June: This week, my internet connection appears to have developed an intermittent disconnection issue. Below are the details and what I've done about it. So far at time of writing this, Sky have yet to resolve this, and it's frustrating because I spend over £150 per month (and have done so for over ten years) with them. These issues have impacted a wide range of online activities, from streaming VOD services, work VOIP/Skype conference calls, online gaming as well as any internet-based activity. Setup:- Service: Sky Fibre- Router: Skyhub 2 (SR102), received from Sky at the end of March 2015. Previously used the white SR101 with BT Openreach modem for almost two years.- We have less than 16 devices connected at any one time. 10 is usually the very most.- We've tried replacing the modem cables, micro-filter directly into socket (unscrewing face plate), line noise testing, etc etc. (Faceplate is on master socket). Symptoms & diagnoses history:Tuesday 9th JuneSUMMARY: Intermittent internet dropouts begin and noticably. Call Sky support who dispatch OR engineer.Noticed throughout the day regular drop-outs of connection, spaced about an hour or so between eachother. The internet light on our SR102 box would totally go out. After about 20 seconds, the light would flash orange and then eventually turn solid orange, before turning white again. Sometimes after flashing orange, it would go off completely again and then eventually, after seconds (no more than a minute) it would start flashing and then become solid again. Most times it does reconnect first time but sometimes it gets into these loops as per below:- An example of an extract of the router log-file when it randomly disconnects but then finds it difficult to just re-connect and the light goes off again: syslog: Line 0: VDSL2 link down
syslog: Line 0: xDSL G.994 training
syslog: Line 0: VDSL G.993 started
(This "down, training, started, down, training, started" loop routine would repeat itself almost like it can't find the connection? I could be wrong as I have limited understanding of what the log-files mean) Response: I called Sky support who, after a 20 minute line test their end called me back and confirmed it was an external fault and they would dispatch an Open Reach engineer to the cabinet within 72 hours.
Wednesday 10th JuneSUMMARY: OpenReach engineer arrived. Didn't really find an external fault. Left and Sky closed the case.Open Reach technician van outside around 13:00hrs. By this point a couple of disconnects. In fact, I had noticed the van because I was going downstairs to have a look at the router as it just then disconnected again! The engineer said that he was at the cabinet and couldn't find an issue. I invited him in to have a look at our setup which is straight forward. We have a faceplate socket which Sky installed in 2013 and it is in the master socket. Until this issue this week, we've had no issues like this to-date. However the engineer suggested it could be an issue with our router?? Despite Sky already confirming issues externally.Response: Anyway he went away and then I called Sky support after a couple of hours. They confirmed the engineer's report suggested he did replace something at the cabinet, and the case was now closed. The woman on the phone also proceeded to suggest that it was a problem 'our' end. *Note* it's in the master socket, it's a microfiler installed by them, it's a 2 month-old router one of their latest models (I know it's not the best around) and we've not had issues like this really. Not recurring intermittent ones anyway. She suggested if it continued again, to take the faceplate off the socket and put a Microfilter directly into it and plug the router into that to test if it's the faceplate. Also replacing the modem cable which I did to no avail. Thursday 11th June:I was out for most of the day so was unable to probably monitor the line or use my usual services on this to see if any changes were made. Friday 12th June:SUMMARY: Still disconnecting...!Five times today, the internet connection has died. It happened during an important work call over Skype, it happened three times during online gaming on the Xbox and a couple of other times. There never appeared to be any regular event or theme which caused any of the disconnects (e.g. use of an appliance (interference), use of a specific internet service or a specific device suddenly being re/introduced/connected to the network. I thought it could be a load issue... i.e. too much stuff happening but it would do this when online-gaming on an xbox and pretty much nothing else happening on the network other than 2-3 devices connected doing nothing strenuous at all other than being on the wifi network!). I unscrewed the faceplate and plugged the SR102 directly into the wall with a traditional micro-filter. This didn't seem to work and still disconnected.Response: Called Sky support AGAIN. They did another 25 minute line test and, yet again, determined an EXTERNAL fault, relating to the "configuration" of the line this time.. Any thoughts on this? They have reopened the case and dispatched an OR engineer again... Fingers crossed, but not too happy. In summary:I'm no stranger to coincidences in combinations of faults in equipment like this....Can this be a degredation of both the original faceplate and the router itself?? But then two separate Sky support technicians (including a 2nd tier staff worker) have declared it an EXTERNAL fault?? I'm stumped, and frustrated.. I'm a bit miffed about this and if there are Sky support staff on these forums it'd be good to get a firm response as we spend in the region of £2,000 with you per year for your services and they are not impinging on my efficiency to carry out my business and social activities.

Right so, the problem is all sorted now. Below will explain what it was in the end, as I appreciate so many people have issues but then don't update the forum so it's less help to others trying to diagnose their own issues). Since my previous message (above), the following happened:- - That BT Openreach engineer must have fixed a coincidental error at the exchange in related to the Configuration / CI / Line card. After he fixed the issue, he made a note to say he reset the DLM on the line. The line was relatively stable for a few days but did drop a couple of times during the night (checked the log files).- After Thursday of the same week the line deteriorated to a near unusual point and the crackling on the phone line itself was getting worse. We even have dropped calls due to this.- Another call was put into Sky at the beginning of the third week of problems. A third external error , this time they called it "copper line impairment", obviously relating to the copper phone cabling. Apparently the very first call out cited this too. A BTO engineer arrived literally a few hours later at the green cabinet (three houses down from me), identified a clear fault from that end and then called Sky to arrange to attend our premises on Thursday.*At the same time, a brand new router was sent to me. However as you'll read below, this wasn't the issue so it made no affect*** All the while many drops on internet, almost unusable in all arenas - VOIP, online gaming , phone conferences, normal phone calls, downloading, uploading, etc. Because of the immense number of drop outs and because BTO number 2 did NOT fix the issue but decided to reset DLM anyway, our DL and UL speeds were decreasing by the hour! After a bit of research and having checked everything myself, I can only come to the conclusion it was our copper cabling (!!) from the pole to the house... as it is almost 50 years olf (if not older!). So far it's cost Sky (or however they work it out) about £800 for the BTO call-outs. I insisted on them putting a note on this fourth BTO engineer to say the copper line should be replaced otherwise we're talking about a false economy now.- Thursday of week 3 arrives. Fourth BTO guy attends. Absolutely fantastic guy. Knew his stuff but also just got on with it... Did all the tests, failed all of them. Determined it was indeed the copper cabling. Luckily we have a second line installed (unused, only installed about 10-15 years ago so current, clean cabling) so instead of reeling a whole new cable from the pole, we just swapped round the connections on the wall. He even put a whole new drop cable in and wired right up to our master socket with a brand new MK3 face place... All within 2 hours. By this point the DL and UL were still rubbish and decreasing still but the internet and phone line has never been more clear and stable! Unfortunately he wasn't a Broadband specialist so he couldn't reset the DLM.- One last call to Sky that evening and a fifth BTO attended the next day, did some quick checks which the connected passed first time, reset the DLM and it's not dropped once. DLM has since completed and we have a rock steady connection for the past two weeks. In summary:-- Replaced copper cabling from pole > house.- Replaced copper cabling (drop cable) from house > master socket- Replaced master socket faceplate (as a precaution) ... Replacing a copper cable which is 50 years old does not take a long time nor does it cost much in comparison to the amount of times I had to call them out at Sky's expense. Apparently a lot of BTO engineers like to avoid replacing cabling as it's the most frustrating part of the job. The guy who worked with us said he just gets on with it if it needs to be done. In short: If you've tried everything, consider the cabling. The reason why it was intermittent and then got worse was because this occurred during the hottest days of the year where the cable finally gave up the ghost. As it dried out from the rain, there were lots of gaps and chinks which weren't passable as it was when it was wet. Note re Sky service:-- We had some good tech support people. Though a lot of times I went straight to Tier 2 tech officials as I was a bit fed up repeating the synopsis of the issue every time I called as it got longer and longer each time! I did feel like a few of the times I was leading the investigation but then I am the customer and wanted it fixed the most. Just make sure you try all the basic potential solutions before contacting them (new cables, master socket, turn router on/off, line checks, if Wifi change channels etc etc) to save you going through those hoops. If anything, the weak link was BTO as it's real hit and miss who attends your house, how busy they've been that week and how much they really want to do the major tasks of their job description!! Luckily we had a great Line expert attend who was happy to do the major work required in the end. Sky then later partially refunded for loss of service for over three weeks.... All in all a good outcome. Hope this helps some.
