Dear Mahindra,
Go to FBZP and click on Bank determination button.here You can give the bank
Ranking order( HB1 rank 1 and HB2 Rank 2. Double click on Available amount, give HB1 amount 50000
give HB2  and available outgoing amount 100000. at the time of run the APP system will take
50000 from HB1(Rank1) and more then 50000 i will take the second rank bank (HB2).

  • House Bank Configuration/ Assignment

    Hi All ,
I need information on House Bank Configuration/ Assignment with respect to business area. Its very urgent.....
    regards
    PSNG

Bank that your company used for banking purposes.
It is also the first step for configuring your Account Payable Modules.
    FI12 - Configure House Bank
    House Banks
First Step: We first create House Banks. These are the banks for
your clients. Your client uses these for its banking transactions. One House Bank can have multiple bank accounts assigned
    to it.
During the implementation one can try to rationalize both, the Banks and the Accounts.
    A House Bank has
a Unique Bank Key. Bank Keys differ by each country's norms. The US Bank Key is called ABA (American Banking Association)
number. Normally each House Bank can have its own Company Code. In some cases, where the Banks use a different ABA key for
paper Transactions and a different one for Electronic Transactions, you Create Two House Banks instead of one for One
Physical Bank. Also, Two Bank Accounts will be created for a Single GL Account.
    T-Code: FI12
    Menu Path:
Financial Accounting > General Ledger Accounting > Bank-Related Accounting > Bank Accounts > Define House Banks
    Config
    Steps:
A House Bank is tied to a Company Code and each Bank Account is tied to a House Bank. So first we Select the
Company Code for which the House Bank is to be created.
The Create Bank icon is clicked and it brings up a pop up for
House Bank Identifier and House Bank Country. House Bank ID is a number decided by you. You can specify a number based on
    your numbering conventions.
The Next screen requires entry of the Bank Key - the ABA number is the House Bank country
selected was US. On this screen you also enter the House Bank Address data as well Control Data - comprising of SWIFT COde,
    Bank Group and Bank Number.
Once the House Bank data has been entered and filled up, you click on Bank Accounts and
you are taken to the screen to configure the Bank Accounts. On the Next screen click on the "Create Acct" icon.
    A pop
up comes up where you enter the House Bank Identifier in your system as well as the Bank Account identifier in your system
along with a text description. Once this is done, we get to the main screen where we enter the following
    data:
Bank Account: The Bank Account given BY the Bank.
Altern. Acct No.: This field is used when two
accounts at the same bank use the same account number. This situation may arise when the bank manages the accounts in two
different currencies. This field has a different number than the Bank Account field.
    Currency: This is the
currency in which the account is managed.
Control Key: For US Banks, this is used to identify whether the account
is a Checking or Savings account. The key is 01 for Checking and 02 for Savings. The Default value is checking account if
    nothing is specified.
GL Account: Each Bank Account is assigned to a GL Account Number. The Bank Account updates
    the GL Account entered here.
Discount Account: If the company uses the Bill of Exchange facility then we enter the
Cash Discount Account for Credit Memo Postings that this Bank Account should update.
    Bank Account
    Structure
It is important to have the right structure for Bank Accounts, GL Accounts and the Clearing
    Accounts.
It is important to know how much of:
    Confirmed Cash,
    Floating Cash out, and
    Floating Cash
    in
is available for the company on a particular day.
There should be Only One Confirmed Cash GL Account with many
Bank Clearing Accounts. So, the Checks Outgoing Clearing, Wire Outgoing, ACH Out, and Deposits clearing need to be set up
for each Bank Account. It is also important to leave room for additional clearing accounts that may be needed in future.
For this, we may have a range of 10 GL Accounts for each Bank Account. The numbering, for example, can have the GL Account
ending with 0 for each Confirmed Cash Balance (eg: 110000); each deposit clearing account will end up with a 1 (110001); each
outgoing check clearing account will end with a 2. each outgoing ACH account will end with a 3 and each outgoing wire
account may end up with a 4.
Check Lots and Void Reason Codes
The final step in configuring of the AP Bank
Account is to assign it to a check lot.
    Check Lots
If the company has a MICR printer then a blank
check lot can be used for Payables. The check lot determines the check number that is used on payments.
    The first
step is to bring up the "Check Lots" screen.
    T-code: FCHI
    Menu Path: Financial Accounting >
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business transactions > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment media > Check
Management > Define Number Ranges for Checks
On the main screen you need to fill up Company Code, House Bank number,
and the Account ID for which the checks are being created (?)
After saving the information click on "Change Status"
icon. This takes you to "Maintain Check Lots" screen. Most of the information will come filled up. You can enter the From
    and To check Numbers.
To create a new check lot and assign it to the account, you can click on the "Create" icon. In
the pop up enter the Lot number identifier and he range of the check numbers and also the next lot number if
    needed.
    Void Reason Codes
In SAP, it is not possible to void a check without a valid reason code. We
can have any number of Void Reason codes. There should be at least one Void reason Code configured in the
    system.
    T-code: FCHV
Menu Path: Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business
Transactions > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment media > Check Management > Define Void Reason Codes.
    Three Void
reason Codes come pre-configured - 1, 2, and 3. They deal with the problems encountered with the printers. There are
indicators to be assigned which define whether the Reason Code is due to Manual or Print program. Any codes created by the
    users are only assigned Manual.
    Payment Program Configuration
This step determines how to process
the payment transactions in the system.
The Payment Program is a series of steps within one Program.
    The
configuration occurs in table T042 and other variations of table T042 that end in a letter.
    T-Code:
    FBZP
Menu Path: Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Outgoing
Payments > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment Method/Bank Selection > Configure Payment Program

  • Strange happening in AP config- house bank.Help.

    Hello SAP friends,
I a creating new housebanks . One weird thing I noticed.
In the house bank , the whole address column that has swift code also did not make it with transports to test.
Everything else did . Is that something not transportable. How can I configure that in test .It is greyed out.
Am I in trouble because we have 102 company codes. Do I have to repeat my config .Please please help

    Hi,
It is not weird, but I do admit that the solution is a little painful one - nevertheless, it is simpler than creating everything in target system again.  You will have to complete the following to achieve what you want to (better have a techie with you for this task because it is all about ALE - setting up a distribution model, generating partner profiles, etc.).
SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG (F5) -> Cross-Application Components -> Bank Directory -> Distribution of Banks -> Make Settings for Distributing Bank Master Data
SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG (F5) -> Cross-Application Components -> Bank Directory -> Distribution of Banks -> Distribute Banks
    Good luck!

  • House Banks

    Hi
I have a question about banks, I hope I am in the correct forum.
    1.
From a review of house banks set at my company I have noted one with no GL code assigned to it.  What would be the impact of this, could payments still be made from this account?? I am unsure as to where the posting could be done if the account has no GL code?
    2.
Also during the processing of electronic payments is it inherent in SAP that the GL account and bank account number cannot be changed by the user?
    3.
The payment program F110 generates [ayments from the AP subledger only I think?  Once this is done how is the payment secured from being changed e.g. AP gl account, vendor name, amount, currenct, bank details etc?
    Thanks for your help
    CT

    Hi Rafael,
    Thank you for your reply.
    1.
For the account with no GL account configured it has a 'discount' account.  What is the significance of this please?
    2.
So this means all relevent accounts are defaulted from the config and end user cannot amend?
    3.
Thinking of just the payments, is it inherent that once the payment progran F110 generates the transactions using the AP subledger data then a user cannot overwrite the payment details e.g. chnage the amount of vendor?  Or is this done via some form of authoirisations?
    Thanks

Please treat this as an urgent. If i am getting anything on this it would be very greatful for me...
    Thanks
    Sriram.

    Hello,
Are you looking for same balances in FPCJ & FBCJ?
If so pls refer to below post<for Q1>
    Re: Cash Book.
    Question Number two:
We are giving so many GL accounts for bank accounts in fica. I would like to know the flow which we are using in FICA
The GL Accounts for bank accounts in FICA are mentioned in IMG\FICA\Business Transactions\Payments\Processing of Incoming and Outgoing payments\Define Bank clearing Accounts for Payment lots.
When you are assigning a bank clearing account, it means that Bank clearing account wud be debited during receipts and credited <Returns config is needed> during Returns.
Hope this is useful. If not let me know.

  • House Bank Determination in FPY1

    Hi Sap Gurus,
I have a question about the Payment Run in Contract Accounting.
I am looking for a customized solution (defined Rules) to determinate the own House Bank based on the Business Partner Bank Country insteadt of the Ranking in FPY1,that means if the BP has a  BankAccount in the Netherlands and its linked to Contract Account, the House bank for our payment Run/Refund should be our Netherland Bank. This should take place in one Payment Run, because its all done by one paying company code. The House Bank Determination should be Business Partner driven.
I assume this will be done in the FI-CA Event 650, but is there another way to determinate the own Housebanks by Customizing in FI-CA.
We are not using Inhouse Cash.
I will assign the points if someone has a helpful answer.
    Thanks

    Hello,
There is no standard config to suit your requirement. You  are right in assuming that Event 650 needs to be enchanced.
You need to overwrite FKK_SAMPLE_0650 with your code and attach it in FQEVENTS.
    Hope this helps

  • HOUSE BANK CONFIGURATION

    Hi Experts
In my client  number of bank accounts  maintained with each bank which is configured as House bank is more than one in almost alll the cases. Client is interested for check printing for each bank account maintained with the bank be it automatic payment programme(F1110) or manual payment(F-58)..But the consulting team which is presently involved in the implementation is expressing some limitation and as per the explanation given to us only one account can have check printing and rest of the bank account should  go for manual check facility,
can somebody pl throw some light on this issue.Correct answer will be rewarded.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vijay
I will put the scenarion in this way.Company x ltd is having bank account with SBI,Mumbai and it maintain 5 bank accounts say Current a/c,CC account,Project finance a/c,Current a/c other.
SBI is configured as House bank and all the a/c mentioned above as Account id.Each bank a/c is having Check facillity.
The config step in bankdetermination(Pl see 2nd step-Bank accounts) in FBZP can accept same payment method only once,If all the bank accounts are configured as account id under same house bank having payment method as check.
So in F-58 if we are selecting some other bank account system gives a dump.It will be grate if you suggest some other solution.
You can try and give your feedback.
    Thanks & regards.

  • House Bank selection at the time of Payment run

    Hello All,
At the time of automatic payment program, The user has to select the house bank for the payment irrespective of ranking order maintained in the FBZP. And I dont want to give the house bank in all the line item at the time of posting or reallocate at the time of payment run.
Is there any option to maintain the house bank in a single place before the payment run, so that for that particular payment run picks the house bank.
    Hope the question is clear.
    Raja.A

    Hi,
the user should use the "available amounts" in bank selection and put zero in the bank he doesn't want to use, and put an amount in the bank he wants tu use.
The available amounts may be changed from the F110 transaction, environment menu, maintain config, bank determination.

  • Two house banks for one vendor

    hi sapgurus,
    i have one question.
i have 5 invoices of one vendor, i want to make payment thru 2 house banks
    for example
3 invoice from hdfc house  bank
2 invoice from icici house bank
what is the configuration required for those scenerios.
    please reply with good answer.
    regards,
    sreekanth

    Sreekanth,
First maintain the bank determination in APP config with house bank details in "Bank Accounts Tab" and available amounts with definite currencies.
Then @ line item level, bank details have to be added in FB60.
Otherwise the system will throw an error.  So, first maintain the APP settings and make changes @ line item level.
    Hope this will help.

  • House Bank for ACH transmission

    Hi,
I have been setting up ACH processing for making payments to our vendors. We have bank key or ABA number or routing number for checks which has been updated in the config.FI12 field Bank key.Now for ACH processing bank is using  different routing number, DO I need to create another house bank for ACH or is there nayway I could use the same house bank which we already using for checks. Thanks
    Regards
    Shaun

If it is the same bank, you do not need to create a seperate house bank. In FI12, choose the house bank and at the bottom click to expend 'Data exchange'. You need to populate 'Bank receiving DME' and 'Company number' fields. I believe 'Bank receiving DME' is that another routing number your bank is talking about. You can test it to see whether it shows in the right place in ACH file.

  • Change vendor House Bank - prevent

    Dear All,
Can any one tell me, how i can prevent user from changing house bank from vendor master.
Is there any config for that, or do i need look for enhancements.

  • House Bank Address Not In Transport

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We added a new house bank in FBZP and entered all the necessary info, cocode, house bank, bank country, bank key, swift code, address, etc. However, when we moved the config to QA, the bank address is missing in the config that made it to QA.  All the following tables are in our transport: T012, T012D, T012K and T012T.
We went back to our DEV box, entered the address again and manually triggered a transport. Still the complete bank address is missing in QA. Although we can manually insert the bank address in production. My question is, is there any reason why our transport is not allowing the bank address to be included or should the address be updated using Fi02? And shouldnu2019t FI12 directly update table BNKA? We are on ECC6 platform.
    Thanks,
    Keen

    Hi keen,
Address data in a Bank Key can be transported but there is a special way of transporting the request to make sure that Address data is transferred to the QE0/PE0 clients.
    Follow the steps below:-
    1. Double click on the created transport request in SE10.
    2. Go to the Objects tab, and enter R3TR, TABU and BNKA in the 2nd 3rd and the 4th coulumn.. Pro_, Obj_, Object Name.
    3. Now double click on BNKA Object name and enter * for table contents under table keys.
This way the address related data can be very well transported to other clients.
    Regards,
    SAPFICO

  • FI12 Bank Account Reference Info field doesn't show for all house banks

We are storing some information in the Reference info. field (T012K REFZL) for bank accounts. We have several house banks defined and this field is available for edit for the accounts for those house banks. We are setting up a new house bank, but the reference field does not show up so we cannot edit its value.
I cannot find any config that allows me to define conditions that would affect the availability of that field. The only difference I can see between the new house bank, is it has a different country than the existing house banks. Existing house banks are in FR and PL, new house bank is in NL.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ellen

I received one other option from outside this forum that also solves the issue.
Based on OSS Note 1009154 the below record has to be inserted into the u201CV_TFIBLSCREENu201D data view by using SM30:
    SAPLFHBANKC, 3, 002, NL, 3.

  • Change house bank in an invoice

Hi Experts.  We have entered an invoice with FB60, and now we need to change the house bank.  This field is not available for change.  How can we make it changeable?
    Thanks
    Janet

Make sure you have done the following config
    -Img-Fin Accounting-Fin Accounting Basic setting-Document-Rules for changing documents-Document changes rules-LINE ITEM.
    And allow the field BSEG-HBKID
If you are still not able to change it, then go to t-code FSS0 and enter the reconciliation account which is getting posted in the vendor invoice. Double-click on the value of Field Status group field. And in the Payment Transactions section make sure OWN BANK field is optional
Otherwise, also look in the field status of the posting key 31 that OWN BANK field is optional
    Thanks

  • EBS Program RFEBKA00 Bank KEy in House Bank is diff.from ABA in BAI file

REceiveing an error that the bank key and account number not found in table T012, T012k.
The HB was created using one ABA as the Bank Key, the ABA necessary for proper u201Cchecku201D creation.
In the HB config, we set the Bank Receiving DME with the ABA needed for the ACH file, which is different from the Check ABA.
I searched everywhere, and found only one viable solution: create a pre-processor to change the ABA in the file to be the one that will match the entries on table T012 and T012k.
I tried putting data in the Alternative Account number with the ABA and the Account number, but it didnu2019t resolve the issue.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Kath,
Having one Bank account using 2 different ABA should not be a problem technically, if you are creating 2 different house banks for the 2 ABAs.
My question is if the ABA number entered in the field "Bank Receiving the Data Medium" is actually responsible for Paying the
ACHs, then this field is not the right place to enter ABA. You must create a new house bank with the ABA number and may be the same account number for ACH, and leave this field "Bank Receiving the Data Medium" empty. And please complete the rest of the Payment run config for this New house Bank i.e. Bank Determination.
If you still have issues, please check if the account number provided by the Bank in the Bank Statement doesn't have a leading zero or prefix before the actual bank account. If there are leading zeros, then please change the account number accordingly in the House Bank and EBS config. Or if there is a prefix, which is sometimes used for foreign payments coming out of the same Bank account. Then you can enter the same bank account number along with prefix in the Alternative Account number field
    Thanks
    Ron
