How ACE classifies the traffic and send it to appropriate Context

Hi ,
Could some one please explain packet clasification in ACE modulue  ,example : let us assume thee are three contexts ( context1 , context 2, context3) in ACE module , how the ACE  classifies the traffic and send to appropriate CONTEXT  if any customer comes and hit the ACE .
Regards
Raj

Hello Raj,
In addition to what Ajay mentioned, yes each virtual address ( VIP) in combination with the port which you configured( if any) will act as unique identifier for the ACE to handle a specific traffic and finally take the load balance decision it needs or any other action which would be required
Another thing which you can take into consideration from the routing perspective is that you configure on the Admin Context the specific vlans allocated to each contexts based on your requirements so for example: you may allocate this vlan10 for context 1 then vlan 20 for context 2 or all of the vlans for context 3
Going back to your original, yes the ACE works this:
Request ----->VIP--->ACE checks which contexts has the VIP in question---->send request to context--->traffic is load balanced between the servers

  • How to break the file and send it to 2 different formats??

    Hi PI Experts,
        My scenario is i have a file with multiple records on the sender side and i have 1 receiver business system and have to  receive the data in 2 formats, one is in JDBC and other in xml format. my condition is if field is equal to 'ECC' then the data should be send to JDBC and if element is not equal to 'ECC' then data should be send to xml format.
    for example, if a file has 2 records('ECC & ECC1) then 'ECC' record has to be stored in JDBC and 'ECC1' record should be send to xml format.
    tell me what to do in the mapping side. hope u guys understood my problem.
    if possible send me screenshots of the mapping.

    HI Srini,
    Just use two different message types in ur mapping!!!
    Write the condition if (A = ECC ){Map to Structure A}
                                  else if (A = ECC1){Map to Structure B}
    Once you are generating all the required ECCs in Message Type A and then All ECC1s in Message Type B,
    It is just configuration stuff where you will have common sender Agreement, receiver determination and also interface determination but the only thing that will separate these two is your receiver agreement.
    You have to use two service interfaces for this, one for Structure A and another for Structure B.
    I have done similar stuff  2 yrs back!!!
    Please let me know if you require anything on this.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.

    Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
    I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
    I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
    Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
    (formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
    (after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
    I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!
    -Brenna
    The e-mail I would like the form sent to is:

    I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
    You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder.  Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
         <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
    The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
    I'm  assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code.  Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names.  It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

  • How to padding the zeroes and space befoer sending from XI to R3 system.

    Hi Experts,
       How to padding the zeroes and space befoer sending any data from XI to R3 during mapping, how to write a java code to implement this logic, please help me with the coding or any other alternative.
    thanks
    dhanush

    to pad spaces you need to write a simple UDF
    for right padding use the following
    while( inputField.length() < Integer.parseInt(totalLength))
    inputField = inputField + " ";
    return inputField;
    for left padding use the following
    while( inputField.length() < Integer.parseInt(totalLength))
    inputField = " " + inputField ;
    return inputField;
    Note:in the above examples <i>inputField</i> will be the input to UDF i.e. the sender field which you need to pad and send to receiver , and <i>totalLength</i> will be a constant i.e length of the field you want on receiver side after padding.
    also i m not a Java expert so please check for syntax and semantics for code:) to me it looks correct
    Thanx

  • How do i clear the receiver and send buffer?

    I am trying to communicate with the Votsch 3050 thermal chamber, with LabVIEW as the control software via serial RS232. In sending the required ASCII strings, there was no response from the chamber, yet no error.
    The manufacturers indicate clearing the receive and send buffer using the the "PurgeComm(HANDLE hFile, DWORD dwFlags)" function in C, but offer no LabVIEW support.
    Does any one have any ideas on how i can do this using LabVIEW? Any Information or VIs would be greatly appreciated.

     @dsbuxi I have worked with many patient monitors. They often work in a client server setup. Data is not sent before you request it. And the communication has to follow a certain protocol. Your job will be to implement this protocol in Labview.  This is not too hard, but it requires some reading to understand the protocol. I am not able to send you any code, but feel free to ask if you need some help regarding the protocol
    And you may have to order or make a custom cable. But you will also find this information in the protocol description. Good luck

    Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
    (Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

    I received a message on my iPhone 4 that has a video attached to it. I "saved video" but don't know where. How do I find it and send it to mi MacBook Air?

    It would have saved to your camera roll.  Connect the phone to your Air via a USB cable and then run Image Capture which is located either in your Utilities folder or Other folder, depending on what version of Mac OS X your are running.  You will then see all the photos and videos stored on your iPhone and can then download them.

  • Obtaining the WSDL and sending a message (like Web Services)

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to use a service interface defined in XI as any other web service? Consider the following scenario.
    1. Create an async service interface (outbound) in XI (This has a message mapping and the message goes to some inbound interface).
    2. Can we write an external application (a Java swing client or something) which can send a message to this service interface?
    3. While writing a normal web services client we specify the url of the WSDL and then send a SOAP message using some APIs.
    4. Can this be achieved in XI? If so could you provide me some links or blogs etc to have some idea about this. Also how do we specify the URL of the interface.
    5. I have seen a similar application (an HTML file) which takes the XML payload (conforming to the message type of the interface) and sends the message to the interface. In this case the URL is formed from sender namespace, server name, port etc. The name of this HTML is XIHttp_adapter.html.
    6. Can somebody give me more inputs in this direction?
    Many Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,
    The Info below should surely help you find an answer.
    If you're on WAS 6.20 and up, you can expose an RFC as a webservice directly from WAS.
    Or if you’re on Basis layer 4.6D, you'll need to use XI (or some other integration tool) to expose the RFC as a webservice.
    To do this in XI you'll need to:
    Integration Repository
    1) Import the RFC
    2) Define a message and datatype for the SOAP interface
    3) Create inbound and outbound interfaces
    4) Create maps between the RFC and SOAP messages
    5) Create an interface map
    Integration Directory
    1) Create an RFC Receiver Channel
    2) Create a SOAP Sender Channel
    3) Generate the WSDL (Tools->Define Web Service)
    You can then handoff the WSDL and a login username and password to your developer and they will have everything they need to make the WS call.
    Here are answers to a few doubts u might have:
    1) Do I need to actually create a WS that calls the RFC ? Isn’t the virtual interface exposed by the XI sufficient?
    Yes, you need to create a WS in XI that calls the RFC.
    2) If I really have to create the WS and deploy it in order to expose it with the XI, then what is my benefit of exposing it with the XI, why not just exposing it as a normal WS ?
    You don't have WAS 6.20 or up. Even if you did, you may still want to expose it using XI in order to have all of your integration go through the same application.
    3) If I expose my web service through the XI, how does the client application executes one of its methods? To which url does it have to access (the XI or the actual WS)?
    You expose a SOAP interface in XI by generating a WSDL file. This file contains all of the information a developer will need to call the webservice including the URL.
    You actually specify the URL when you generate the WSDL. Be sure to read the documentation to get the correct format because the URL that the wizard suggests isn't correct.
    Also check this Pdf for the Receiever SOAP Adapter configuration:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40728f7b-0401-0010-d9bc-8c73884a3789
    Also the target URL must be the URL to the WSDL. So, if you try putting it in your browser you must see the wsdl code.Please do ensure the same.....
    I hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Abhy

  • Is it possible to read information off the desktop and send it to java ?

    Hello. I am wondering if it's possible with Java to read information off the
    screen and send it to a java listener to be interpreted.
    information such as comparable images (ie images that you can match with an
    image you already posess in order to classify it) or simply text.. or colors
    ie could I say for exemple be "listening" at a certain coordinate say 560x76
    0 and whenever that pixel turns a certain color than that activates a functi
    on and sends it the color data.
    or I could be listening for any changes in a small box and whenever that are
    a changes it copy/pastes its contents to be interpreted or compared
    I know this is all pretty advanced.. and obviously it can be done but perhap
    s not with java but I'm hoping someone knows if it can and could give me a p
    ointer like a link so I can read up on it and learn how to do it.
    thanks for you help in any case

    have you considered that perhaps the casino enjoys the fact you have to make a small deposit before you can use one of these companies they have a deal with ?
    hey is it so hard to believe that perhaps the casinos were the ones that came up with the idea in the first place and launched the first calculator products (discreetly of course).
    casinos want to teach you to become a better player every way they can.. no matter how you look at it this always results in more profit for them
    the calculators available right now are either bought for 40-60$ a piece or require that you specifically make a FIRST real cash deposit at one of the sponsored casinos. IE if you're already a real cash player at one of the casinos then the offer doesn't work, you need to sign-up elsewhere and deposit.
    what do deals like that result in on a weekly, monthly and annual basis? millions of dollars through new sign-ups that otherwise would not of been. regulars of one site may become regulars of another site because they were coerced in having to deposit AND play 500 real-money hands in order to fully unlock their calculator's "free license",
    I'd be willing to be that 95% of the time players end up blowing away their "first deposit" waaaaaaaaaaay before they reach the 500 real money hands (heck I made it to 200 hands with my 50$ and I'm sure most don't make it to 50!). So on average it means that for each new calculator user the casinos make a minimum of 100$ and probably much much more.
    if you don't see the marketing catch in it then you're just not looking at it through the money-hungry glasses everyone in the gambling industry wears today
    it's fact that they directly profit from this.. as well as all the other poker advertising and propaganda that we're flooded with today.

    I have been struggling for many weeks  about how to add  the ToolArea into the Masthead. Can someone please help me?
    I followed with the tutorial :[How to Merge the Masthead and the Tool Area|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f058ef9c-b211-2a10-4fad-8b88d5a1fe74?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true]
    I followed every steps mentioned in the tutorial but end up with these:
    1.  In this tutorial there is a word:Just before the link table is ended, add another row for the tool area. Unfortunately I am not familiar with JSP so can anybody please tell me the accurate inserting location of this code.
    2. Besides I find there are some faults in this tutorial and It is non't very complete.
        For example the author have non't refer to two jar:
        I have copyed  the (com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead_core.jar, com.sap.portal.navigation.toolarea_core.jar).from the     standard par files and paste these JAR files in the PORTAL-INF / lib folder in the NWDS.
       who can tell me there are additional faults or complements about this tutorial?
    Please suggest.
    Best Regards

  • How to save ALV list  and send listoutput as email in background process

    Can anyone tell me if an ALV list report could be saved as LIST using 'LIST_TO_MEMORY' and then by using 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY' we need to read the list. If so How?
    I don't want to use 'Submit....exporting list to memory and return' as then I have to trigger my program twice.
    Finally with one program itself i want to get the listoutput and send the list output as an email to the customer in background.
    I have gone through the forums and could see many of them facing the same problem, but could not find the solution in the forums.
    Waiting for a reply

    if you want to send mail with the same data as you display in ALV, you can use the same internal table,which you sent to ALV_LIST_DISPLAY function module.
    take the email ids from the user on the selection-screen & use the below code to send mail to them.
    call this FORM F_SEND_MAIL before you called the ALV function module.
    FORM F_SEND_MAIL .

    When I try to read my e-mail my iPad closes the page and sends me back to home page. Any ideas how I can fix this?

    Try resetting (rebooting) the iPad.  Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow.  The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes.  Resetting this way will not hurt anything and sometimes solves mysterious problems.
