    Yes I have read of other reports from people saying theirs are fine. I am really looking forward to purchashing one but I do not want to take a 2000 dollar chance that I might end up with a bad screen. I am still waiting for apple to make an announcement. I have also begun seing reports on some "news like" websites but not really the major ones.

    I have a WiFi iPad 2 w/iOS 8.1.  I want to use PayPal Here that requires location services in my nursery.  It works fine outdoors but inside our metal buildings with metal roofs the location services do not work (and PayPal Here does not work) even though I am still connected to our WiFi network.  PayPal support is no help.  How can I get location services to stay on inside the buildings?

    I recently went into a Verizon store to try to upgrade my phones. I am on a Family Plan. When I renewed my contract 2 years ago, one of the phones received was defective. After going back to the store several times, it still did not work properly. I asked for a replacement. I was sent a refurbished phone, which I did not want and complained. I sent it back and was finally sent a new phone. Now it's time to upgrade. The catch is that the date I can upgrade on 1 phone was set back 2 months-- the time it took to resolve the problem with the defective phone. YOU were not willing to adhere to the contract and ToS which you had previously agreed to, but you now want Verizon to follow those terms that you have already backed out on?

    1. I have spent the last 1 1/2 hours trying to find an email address for Customer Service, is there one and how do I get to it?
    2. I have noticed a number of calls to and from the "233" and "324" area codes, but when I look them up on an area code search site they don't seem to exist. How can I be charged for calls to a non-existent area code?
    3. Also, my husband changed phone numbers mid July and I would like to see the calls from that number (removed) as well as from his current number (removed) on the same bill.  Or at least be given a chance to view the charges on that number for the beginning of the billing period.

    I too had spent close to an hour today on hold with Verizon Wireless.  I have been with them since they started.  The service was first called Air Touch then it changed to Verizon.  I was treated like crap at the company Burbank, CA store at the Media Center.  I wanted to E-mail customer service about the issue and there is no E-mail address.  I was unable to connect with someone live.  What is up with this company. They have gone downhill very fast.  They used to be very caring about their customers.  I am due for an Iphone upgrade.  I could had bought an Iphone 5s but waited for the Iphone 6 to come out.  I went to the Burbank store and asked if there was any Iphone 6 or 6 plus 64g for sale and there was only a 128g available.  I have no use for that much memory and did not want to spend the extra money to buy the phone.  I also had a question about both phones and I wanted them to release the sample phones that were locked to the table so I could see which one would work for me.  I wanted to see how each phone feels being operated by one hand and how the new phone would feel in my front pocket.  That is where I keep my Iphone 4 phone.  The store would not give me the time of day since they knew I was not buying that day.  The Verizon store reminded me of a car dealership and I think many people know how frustrating it is to deal with a car sales person.  I am thinking of leaving Verizon.  Today was the last straw.  The only problem is they have the best coverage across the United States and since they know that they could care about customer service.

    I have found that I need to use the FM 'CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS' but how and what to pass is greek to me.
    One link here says to "Use CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS. Pass the customer number (internal format) to Object Id, and the KLART value, you will get the values.".
    What is meant by the internal format of the customer number and where do I get this?
    What is the KLART value?
    I know this FM is used for material characteristics but how do I tell it this is for customer characteristics?
    What customer tables (tables not structures!) have the values I need to determine
    the values required to pass to this FM?  Can I start with KNA1, KNB1, etc?
    If any one has sample code on how this is used  - I will ensure you get max points!

    Try to use fm VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION. (This is for  object you want to read is configurable (Class types 200, 201, 300). all others use BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL.
    if above not possible
    I think
    Object table comes from TCLA-OTAB. and your class type TCLA-KLART drives it.
    I think for every class there will be unique entry in TCLA based on your class type select the TCLA-OTAB

    OT ~ We keep becoming more and more aware of how easy it is to lose one's bearings when it comes to keeping up with info tech.  My husband and I are both official members of the geezer set and have been out of the work force for some years.  You really do pick up so much just by being in the environment where people are using things to get work done.  A couple of old MP3 players, PPC G5, and a vintage Inspiron 3800 that someone didn't want any more is about it.  No cell phone, no iPod, no iPad, no home wireless network, no streaming media.  Fixed income.  So we do with what we can as long as we can.  If we could get by without that Intel processor, we'd probably make do with what we've got.  On the other hand, we've really wanted a notebook for a very long time and have to admit that needing to upgrade to accomodate my husband's project is pretty much just the "reason" we need.  I really mean it when I say that we are beyond appreciative that users take the time to share info and patiently educate those of us who fall into the "slow tech" category.

They said the only way to get my ipod was to return my computer and buy it from an apple store. So I tried that but I had also bought iworks and would have to forfeit the $100 I had paid on iworks. So i called 1-800-my-apple again and this time they said to try to get the retailer to honour it. But by this point it was over the return policy and they said they couldn't that apple should. I called 2 more times and instead just got really vague completely unsatisfactory answers. It ****** me off that I had to keep going back and forth when I feel like I had a pretty straight forward and legitimate request. It is kind of late to get the ipod I want so I just want to know where I can voice my frustration and where to go next time I have a problem since 1-800-my-apple was no help.

    It can be done two ways.
    1) as the other poster describes in making an Alert Sound and placing it in Users/(your account)/Library/Sounds and then selecting it in iChat > Preferences > Alerts fro the action you want.
    2) In Tiger/iChat 3 only
    Go to the iChat Alert Preferences details above and there is an option to have iChat Speak a text phrase which you can type in the Phrase. (this is not there in iChat 4)
