How can i make Waveburner work properly under 10.9.5

Hello again, Masterminds!
Every time i open a project of Waveburner, it has to search about 5 min for every song, though it was all saved properly.
What´s up there??
Is Waveburner one of those things Apple doesn´t take care of any more??
And if so, what else for burning my songs on CD??

Though it´s WB 1.5.2 it says that 1.6.1 is not needed and refuses installation.
1.5.2 was quite buggy at times.. more so with later OS X versions.....
What's odd is v1.6 was part of the paid upgrade from LP8 to LP9 (Logic Studio 1.0 to Logic Studio 2.0) so I'm wondering why it didn't install for you already unless you went straight from LP8 to LPX for example?
Which versions of Logic did you buy?

You may need to use Pacifist to manually install 1.6.1 ( if it won't install automatically) as I believe you need 1.6.1 for WB to work correctly under modern OS X versions...
But first sort out Spotlight as that is most likely the cause of it failing to find the correct files...
Spotlight is an essential part of the functionality of WB, Logic and almost any other Apple app these days..

How can i make a application-form without PHP or How can i make Mailto working properly?

Dear All,
I'm working on a application-form for my website. As you can see on the added screenshot.
My problem is that is can't use PHP, as my host doesn't support this.
I have tried to make it as a mailto (GET) form but, as i already read online, it isnt working all the time. I get a blank email instead of a sent form (using chrome & mac mail).
Is there a 3rd way of making this work propperly?

I'm guessing you have a free hosting account as any paid account should include scripting supoort. You could use a 3rd party email service that hosts the script. Frankly I'd be concerned about loss of privacy using these.
If this is a paid account, I'd look for another host.
Forget about using mailto, it's too unreliable.

How can I make faces work properly?

I have iPhoto version 9.2.1 (628) and the main thing that I want to be able to do with the Face Feature is to tag a face of any photo that I choose to.
1) the 'Name' button is missing whenever I open a photo
2) the 'Add a face' of the 'info' feature on photos - is disabled on a lot of my photos but enabled on certain photos - why?

Ok. I don't know if anyone has had the same experience but I'll go ahead and deliver my findings for this one.
My iPhoto was broken - I had repointed a new account to the drive that that the original account was using.
It needed to be rebuilt - This can be done by holding option-command while clicking the iPhoto app.
I checked all of the applicable options and then it took about 2 hours to rebuild my library. Not bad.

In order to intentionally add a Face to iPhoto 11
1) you must open a photo of the picture you want
2) the "info" panel must be open -
3) Click the 'Add a Face' link and depending on whether or not iPhoto is working on 'Faces' from your library - the option to 'Add A Face' may or may not be available.

Unfortunately, the recording & movie industry does not respect the rights of the people who make them money, and thus you can only use the paid-for content in ways they see fit. Even if I lived in a bunker where no one else could possibly see the movie I paid for, therefor I'm not 'sharing it illegally', I would still not be allowed in a blue moon to copy that movie to DVD for TV viewing. Someone will tell you to get an AppleTV. How about Apple give us one for free? Just in case you are not running iOS 7 and don't have the control center feature.....
If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it and you are running iOS 5 or 6, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If you are running iOS 7, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the control center and the lock icon is in the row of icons at the top all the way to the right.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button
