How come my Mac read my Ram as 24 GB when I installed four 8 GB RAM into my system and booted through safe boot, since my Mac won't boot normally with the new Ram, but will only boot if I add the two 2GB with two 8GB?

Macs are extremely sensitive to their ram...even when memory paging is not used, the memory modules still have to be very close in their timing and latency and other specifications. That is why John and Michel and Mike and Mende and I all gave you the same advice, advice based on years of experience. There are a couple memory suppliers who are Mac specialists, know Macs, and test their products to see that they perform correctly in Macs. The two best are OWC and Crucial, plenty of links given above.
We all have said the same thing with regard to other brands, they are not reliable and are regular sources of problems encountered on here. It is very unusual to have positive feedback from users buying ram from Amazon or eBay...we see pretty much a 100% failutre rate from users doing that.
Listen to our advice, get the amount of ram supported by your iMac, from a reliable source. There isn't much else we can tell you as the memory you now have is not working.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device) -

No, you don't. If you got it from the Mac App Store, log into it with the same Apple ID and redownload it for free. If you got it from CDs or DVDs, reinstall it from those; having the DVD version of a program does not get you a free download of it from the Mac App Store.

I've been trying to down load the new itunes version and I'm stuck on All your music in one place but now it's been stuck there for over 20 minutes. Do I need to start over or is this normal?
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. Firefox tried to upgrade and it failed.It now has a message about restarting to complete upgrade. you can't uninstall it because the same message appears. it will not start no matter how many restarts. had to switch to chrome.

I often access published papers from our university library. Since I updated Firefox, the QuickTime Player icon displays on my Mac, the papers load properly, but only the first page is displayed. If I copy the full URL from the Mozilla address line into another browser, the full article is loaded with that browser. Can you help, please. Totally agree with this post. I like my swr30 a lot less now. Some ideas of the updates are good, but the execution is poorly and unusable. How do you do a roll back as you mentioned?
