    How do I copy one image onto another image?

    Lots of ways;  Use the Place command to place a file in another.  Open two files and drag one to the other's window tab, drag an image from bridge onto an open file.  Open an image, press ctrl/cmd-A to select all, the ctrl/com-C to copy the image, the ctrl/cmd-V to paste it into another image.

  • How do i copy internet images to my mac desktop

    how do i copy internet images to my mac?

    A related tip: option+shift+4 will produce a cursor where you can drag a box to grab a screen image of an area.  It gets dumped to your desktop with a generic name.
    For that file too, you have to decide its ultimate destiny.

  • Can anyone tell me how to upload a url to an image onto facebook the way you could with a pc. Recently switched over to Mac and this is one thing I can't seem to figure out. Basically in Windows you could right click on an image, click copy the image url

    I've recently switched over to a Mac and before in Windows on a pc if you wanted to post an image on facebook you would right click the image you found on the post you wanted to share, then click copy url. You'd simply take that url and put it into the facebook post when uploading an image and that's all. Can not seem to find a way to do it now, other than saving the image to the computer and then uploading that which is not what I want to do. I've searched and searched but can't seem to find a solution other then posting in Parallels Window.
    Any suggestions??

    Thanks brody, I had been able to do that but on my business fb page I often post images and put in the links myself in the descriptions. In Windows you're able to post images by simply pasting in the url but on the Mac I'd have to download someone's image which I'm not comfortable doing so I find myself switching back and forth between the Mac and Windows.
    This link explains what I'm trying to do on the Mac probably in a less confusing way than I just did: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57496509-285/quickly-upload-photos-to-facebo ok-by-pasting-the-image-url/

  • How do I copy an image from pdf file using preview?

    I've done this before from the same pdf file but can't remember how I did it.  Does anyone know?

    I tried that and heard the camera shutter go off now how do I retrieve the image?  Where is it on my computer?
    Where did you check?
    Screen shots are suppose to be saved on your desktop.  See KB Article:  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11229
    If that is not where there are going, do a manual search.  Check inside your Download folder for starters.

  • How do I copy an image from one Keynote presentation to another one?

    I have a previously saved presentation on Keynote in iCloud. I created it from my desktop at work. Some of the images I used for the presentation I want to use again in another presentation, onlh this time I am working off my laptop and don't have the same access to those images. Is it possible to copy/paste images from one Keynote presentation into another? I can't even seem to click on the image and save it.
    Any suggestions?

    Clicking and dragging does not work.
    Click on the image and Copy and Paste
    or
    Inspector > Metrics > File Info > click on the icon of the file and drag it to your desktop
    You can then drag that file back in wherever you want.

  • How can I copy an image/picture from the internet into a word document

    I am trying to copy and paste an image or picture from the internet and insert it into a word document. I select and copy the image from the internet page. I then go to the word document and select past special. When I select 'paste special' it only allows text to be copied and no images or pictures. If I also try to drag the image and place it in the word document. It does not allow me to do so. Any suggestions to fix this issue?

    Considering this is a MS Word issue I'd recommend reposting to that forum. You can find one at:

  • How do I copy an image in LR to the clipboard?

    I can't find the option to copy an image from LR's library to the clipboard - I'm sure I'm just overlooking it - can someone help?
    Thanks!!

    But quality is a real point here.
    So you should request a slightly different feature: drag an image thumbnail from LR to Word, which in the background executes the commands
    1. Render file as somewhere specified (e.g. In a dedicated export preset for application transfer).
    2. Insert the resulting file into Word
    3. Ditch the file use for transmission.
    4. Update history of the file with this export. - maybe yiu would not be interested in this last point, but it would fit LR logic.
    The correct place to request features and let oters vote on them is another forum

  • How can I copy text&image from a website to Apple Pages at once?

    I'm using Apple Pages 9.1, I can't copy text and images to pages at once. When I paste the copy contents to it, it just only shows text. With Safari, this functionality seems normal. I could copy and paste what I want to the pages.
    What can I do now? I don't want to open Safari just only to copy and quit it after that. :D

    Does it matter how widely you select? Firefox may be somewhat stingier in what it includes in a selection than other browsers. For example, I suspect you would have better results if you select the entire page and copy and paste it compared with a section of the page. But that's just a guess, I've never used Pages (or any of iWork).

  • In Textedit, how do I copy a hyperlink url, but only copy the link location and not the link text?

    Suppose I have a list of hyperlinked internet URL's. I want to extract their Internet addresses -- the link locations --  which are essentially hidden in the link text. Is there any way to select and copy the list of hyperlinks, but only copy the link locations, and not the link text?
    For example, with the links:
    The White House
    Google
    One of my previous posts
    What I really want to copy are: "http://www.whitehouse.gov/", "http://www.google.com/", and "https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2737556".

    I figured out how to do it. First, copy the hyperlinks onto a blank RTF document in TextEdit and save the file.
    Second, open the file from within TextEdit, and make sure that the box "Ignore rich text commands" is checked in the open file dialog box. In the open document, the hyperlinks from my example in my first post will look like this:
    {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\cocoartf1038\cocoasubrtf360
    {\fonttbl\f0\froman\fcharset0 Times-Roman;}
    {\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;\red0\green7\blue232;}
    {\info
    {\author Garald P. Weller}
    {\*\copyright Garald P. Weller}}\margl1440\margr1440\vieww20000\viewh14400\viewkind0
    \deftab720
    \pard\pardeftab720\sa240\ql\qnatural
    \f0\fs24 \cf0 \
    \pard\pardeftab720\sa240\ql\qnatural
    {\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "http://www.whitehouse.gov/"}}{\fldrslt \cf2 \ul \ulc2 The White House}}\
    \pard\pardeftab720\sa240\ql\qnatural
    {\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "http://www.google.com/"}}{\fldrslt \cf2 \ul \ulc2 Google}}\
    \pard\pardeftab720\sa240\ql\qnatural
    {\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2737556"}}{\fldrslt \cf2 \ul \ulc2 One of my previous posts}}\
    Third, use the Automator function, "Get URLs From Text," to create a service, which I called "Get URLs From Text," that receives text from any window, gets the URLs, and copies the result to the clipboard:
    Fourth, select the entire page above, and go to TextEdit > Services to activate the "Get URLs" service.
    Fifth, create a new TextEdit document, and paste the result.
    The output is exactly what I wanted, the URLs -- i.e., the link locations -- of the three web pages, without the link text.
    Another utility that will extract URLs is CopyPaste Pro, which has an innate ability to extract Internet addresses from either web pages or text pages.

  • How can I read Publishing Image url field programmatically

    Hi,
    I have a document library contains some documents.
    So I have a sitecolumn which have the type "Publishing Image",Now I wanted to read the publishing image programmatically.
    Please provide me the sample code to read.
    Appreciated if you can help.
    Thanks,
    Krishna
    Krishnasandeep

    Use below line of code
    class Program
    static void Main(string[] args)
    try
    using (SPSite site = new SPSite("http://yoursite"))
    using (SPWeb web = site.RootWeb)
    if (PublishingWeb.IsPublishingWeb(web))
    PublishingWeb _pweb = PublishingWeb.GetPublishingWeb(web);
    if (_pweb != null)
    if (_pweb.DefaultPage.Level != SPFileLevel.Checkout)
    if (_pweb.DefaultPage.Item[FieldId.PublishingPageImage] as ImageFieldValue == null)
    _pweb.DefaultPage.CheckOut();
    ImageFieldValue _field = new ImageFieldValue();
    _field.ImageUrl = "/SiteCollectionImages/home.gif";
    _pweb.DefaultPage.Item[FieldId.PublishingPageImage] = _field;
    _pweb.DefaultPage.Item.Update();
    _pweb.DefaultPage.CheckIn("Added Image");
    if (_pweb.PagesList.EnableMinorVersions)
    _pweb.DefaultPage.Publish("Published");
    if (_pweb.PagesList.EnableModeration)
    _pweb.DefaultPage.Approve("Approved!!");
    Console.WriteLine("Image Added");
    catch (Exception ex)
    Console.WriteLine("Error :" + ex.Message);
    Console.ReadLine();
    This is from the
    http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/bhushangawale/adding-publishingpageimage-programmatically-sharepoint-publishing-pages/
    You can take the reference of this code , to get the publishing image field.
    1)First you need to get the publishing web.
    2)Then get the publishing page for the web from which you need to fetch the data.
    3)So that targeted page you will get as an item format
    so using below code get the field value
    ImageFieldValue _field = Item[FieldId.PublishingPageImage] as ImageFieldValue
    Now you can access the properties of the field using this object i.e.
    _field.ImageUrl will give you the url stored.
    Hope this will help you.

  • How to extract all images url just by specifying a url of a website?

    Hello
    i wanted to know if there is any add-on available or any other trick where i can EXTRACT/COPY all "Images url" just by specifying a website?
    For example:
    Consider this website:http://freeprintable-cards.com/free-printable-birthday-cards/
    Now is there any "Add-on" or any other way where i just paste the url of above website(say in the text box) & it automatically copies all images url at once simply by specifying "only" the website name..
    Thanks

    Addon ''save images 1.0.3'' https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/save-images may do something similar.

  • How can i copy line with text and image to ms word

    When I insert an image in textflow using InlineGraphicElement it works, but when I copy the line with the image to MS Word it copies only the text (not the image).
    How can i copy the image to MS Word?

    If you want copy formatted text and image to MS Word, you need to give MS Word rtf markup, because Word can recognize rtf markup but not TLF markup.
    So you need to create a custom clipboard to paste a rtf markup. It's a large feature for you, because you need a tlf-rtf converter in your custom clipboard.
    TLF Custom Clipboard Example:
    package
        import flash.display.Sprite;
        import flash.desktop.ClipboardFormats;
        import flashx.textLayout.container.ContainerController;
        import flashx.textLayout.conversion.ITextImporter;
        import flashx.textLayout.conversion.TextConverter;
        import flashx.textLayout.edit.EditManager;
        import flashx.textLayout.elements.*;
        import flashx.undo.UndoManager;
        // Example code to install a custom clipboard format. This one installs at the front of the list (overriding all later formats)
        // and adds a handler for plain text that strips out all consonants (everything except aeiou).
        public class CustomClipboardFormat extends Sprite
            public function CustomClipboardFormat()
                var textFlow:TextFlow = setup();
                TextConverter.addFormatAt(0, "vowelsOnly_extraList", VowelsOnlyImporter, AdditionalListExporter, "air:text" /* it's a converter for cliboard */);
            private const markup:String = '<TextFlow whiteSpaceCollapse="preserve" version="2.0.0" xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/textLayout/2008"><p><span color=\"0x00ff00\">Anything you paste will have all consonants removed.</span></p></TextFlow>';
            private function setup():TextFlow
                var importer:ITextImporter = TextConverter.getImporter(TextConverter.TEXT_LAYOUT_FORMAT);
                var textFlow:TextFlow = importer.importToFlow(markup);

                textFlow.interactionManager = new EditManager(new UndoManager());
                textFlow.flowComposer.updateAllControllers();
