How do I get a CF9 License now?

Hello,
We're planning a migration to another Data center. Currently we have just one CF9 standard server/license. At this new data center we need to put up a second server and thus need a second license for CF9 Standard. Is this possible now that CF10 is out? Is is possible to buy the CF10 Standard license and use it on an install of CF9 and afterward use this license to reinstall as CF10? We're just not cool on going cold turkey on CF10 so soon. Since the Developer edition is baisaclly a 2 user Enterprise version I see a big gap in the developer's support for Standard. I have a call into Adobe support as well.
Any other options?

Yes, that is what you are supposed to do. I don't think you use the actual CF10 serial in CF9, but if you buy CF10 you can get a CF9 serial to use from customer service (as I understand it). Talk to a sales rep for confirmation, but this is how I have heard from Adobe it will work.

for emptying time machine backups that i foolishly put in the trash

I am not a lawyer, but I don't see how you are infringing on Apple. Remember, most e-mails are not read or replied to. Your best course of action would be to send a priority letter to Apple's street address. They still may not reply, but it will be read.

If your movie is showing some guy at a desk using a companies software; it's beyond my comprehension why they would have a problem. In fact, many companies pay for “product placement”. However, I understand that Apple does not engage in this practice.
But I can assure you, every time you see someone with a Coke (and other products) in a movie the producers were probably paid.

How can I get a replacement license code

I have been trying for 6 weeks to get a replacement license code for the one I lost when I purchased Lightroom (the delay caused by having to upgrade MAX to iOS10.7 which took a week). I have contacted the help desk on 5 separate occasions and have been promised a new license code within days on each occasion and yet I have received nothing. I am "microsoft windows" illiterate. I have been an apple user for many many moons (over 25 years). I just got a new job where I need to run visual C# on a windows system. Since I don't want to go out and purchase a windows system, running boot camp seem viable. I don't know how to get a windows license and software to load up a boot camp partition so I can load the visual c# software on it.

You can try to restart it with the menu and power button held down at the same time for a few seconds.
If it still doesn't work, you can force the iPod into DFU mode by following the steps below.
Finally if it still doesn't work, it sounds like it's time for a trip to the Apple Store.

Please post the exact error message you get if it fails again. It may help to clear your browser's cache and disable any AV software when installing iTunes. You should also install from an account with administrator rights.
Hopefully, as others suggest, you have a backup of your library and media, or failing that a device containing it. If the latter see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Otherwise you will only be able to recover qualifying past purchases as detailed in the link Limnos gave earlier.

I've got a podcast called "Civil Air Patrol Today" and I'd like to get my show's logo in the "Now Playing" box in the lower-left corner of iTunes. Does anyone know how I do this? Is it something I set up in my xml file or somewhere else?

I changed my code from this:

So as to match up with what is in the document you referred me to. Although I can still see the image in the top of the player when I am about to subscribe to the podcast, the image doesn't show up in the "now playing" window in the lower left.
I wonder if I have to resubmit this to iTunes Music Store, or wait for the store to update it's link to my podcast?

Normally accepting the license agreement is a one time process. Being unable to save it successfully may be related to a permissions restriction/issue on your system.
You might try right-click Run and Admin when launching Photoshop (on Windows) and then accepting, test with your anti-virus software disabled temporarily, or see if the same thing happens in a newly created user account with administrative rights.
