How do I get to use Xerces 1.2.1 or higher w/ wls 6.0

We are trying to port our software from WLS 5.1 to 6.0. I am running into a problem
because our code uses Xerces 1.2.1 (or higher) and WLS 6.0 is using 1.2.0. Initially,
I was getting a null pointer error way down in my code. I traced this to a Xerces
problem with 1.2.0. SO I decided to place the Xerces.jar file before the weblogic
jars in my classpath. This caused the server to not start up cleanly; so I went
back to the weblogic jars coming first in the classpath. Then I tried creating
an XML registry. This gives me a different error (the stack trace is included
at the bottom of this message). However, from perusing the newsgroups, I don't
think this method will work. Can you help me out?

Try to remove the xerces.jar from xmlx.jar and put the one you want to usae
in the CLASSPATH. Also set the registry's saxparserfactory to
org.apache.xerces...

I have had the same problem as yours on my Ipad after upgraded Procreate 2.01. My iOS is 7.04. I tried to find solution from internet for weeks. Fortunately, the problem was resolved a few minutes ago. It is very simple,
1. Lunch outlook.com to confirm you can access hotmail mailbox. It means your account is Ok.
2. Go to setting>Mail,Contacts,Calendars.Delete your hotmail account from your device.(my device is Ipad)
3. Turn off your device, then turn on again.
4. Go to setting>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and create your hotmail account by tap outlook.com. Be sure the incoming mail server is pop3.live.com.
5. Waiting for validation.

It appears that something happened to yur computer/iTunes files. It happens sometimes. To recovery:
- Import the old music into the current iTunes library
- Make sure all the apps are also in the library
- If in the USA and therplaces where iCloud has benn released you can redownload most iTunes puchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- You can always redownload apps at no additional cost as long as you are singned into the same iTunes account the originally purchased them.
- After all the suff in in the iTunes library, make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes.
- Restore the iPod from backup and restore as necessary.

I do not have any experience with Final Cut, but if you have existing projects that you MUST access; then you are in need of a solution on your new iMac in Mountain Lion!
Unfortunately you got caught up in the minor miracle of Rosetta. Originally licensed by Apple when it migrated from the PowerPC CPU platform that it had used from the mid-1990's until the Intel CPU platform in 2006, Rosetta allowed Mac users to continue to use their library of PPC software transparently in emulation.
However, Apple's license to continue to use this technology expired with new releases of OS X commencing with Lion (and now Mountain Lion). While educational efforts have been made over the last 6 years, the fact is that Rosetta was SO successful that many users were caught unaware UNTIL they upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion.
Workarounds:
1. Purchase a used Mac that will run Snow Leopard (with the optional Rosetta installed) and continue to run FCE on that Mac (you can actually use Screen Sharing with a "headless" used Snow Leopard Mac Mini and use the 27" screen from your iMac to view and work FCE in the Mac Mini environment);
2. Upgrade to an Intel compatible version of FCE and hope it converts your existing projects to its newer format correctly. There is much debate that the newer version of Final Cut are eliminating many needed features; for example Final Cut Pro X vs. Final Cut Pro 6 -- many users are staying with version 6;
3. Install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels and then install FCE in the Snow Leopard environment:

Transfer the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes Music folder) to your "new" old Mac. Put that folder in User Name>Music. Open iTunes with the option key down. Select "Choose Library." Navigate to the place where the iTunes folder is. Plug in your iPhone and everything is just like before.

integrate it in WLS 6.0. sp2
But we are ahving trouble to get the parser working.
I allready tried to explicitly stating to use the org.apache.xerces.framework.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl
of apache ..... but then the program stops when asking for a DocumentBuilder.
anyone... knows how to get Xerces 1.4.1 (or higher) to be used in WLS6.0 sp2

problems ( after getting a patch for Syslog )
Use the Xalan that comes with Xerces, not the independent download.
Put xerces.jar ahead of weblogic jars in the startup script
Setup the external registry.
config.xml:

It seems like weblogic has older version of xerces and it does not allowto use
another package because of RegistrySaxParser.
I don't understand why there is no information in weblogic web sites, itseems
many people having these problems.
