How do I install an extension that I created?

I created an extension using this tutorial (http://blog.mozilla.com/addons/2009/01/28/how-to-develop-a-firefox-extension/), as well as other sources.
Error text:
''Firefox could not install this item because "install-48j..rdf" (provided by the item) is not well-formed or does not exist. Please contact the author about this problem.''
Note that the three characters between the dash and the 2 dots changes every time I try an install. I tried installing it on 2 different versions of FF on Windows.

I am trying to install an extension that requires FF 4.0. I downloaded 4.0 yet the extentsion says I still have 3.6.16 when trying to install.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF several times. When I try to install the extension (that requires FF 4.0), I get a pop-up that says I am still using an older version of FF and asks if I want to upgrade. When I click on "About Firefox", it says I have 4.0. In February, I downloaded FF Beta which I understand could be a problem. I also have read that you need to manually delete Beta files which I have done. I did a system search to see if any Beta files exist and no further files were found. Another option if you have access to a second Mac with a drive is to connect the two together with the iMac in Target Disk Mode, Transferring files between two computers using FireWire, and installing from the Mac with the optical drive.

Thanks for the response. I am VERY new at this. I did download ES File Explorer and opened it to these folders:
'aloqa'    'Android'    'DCIM'      'glogs'     'Lost.dir'        'media'      'slacker'     'VZNavigator'    'Yahoo'
and these two files:      'ATT00049'   (which is a picture from somewhere in my phone...nothing that I did) and
                                         'temp.apk'
I have opened everything and cannot locate my 'saved' audio file.
I saved my file again and noticed that it says "saved to phone memory".

After installing an application that was created using the Application Builder

After installing an application that I created using the Application Builder I get this error if I try to run " ANY " LabVIEW App's that I have built. "Executable Version 7.1.1 doesn't match Resource File 7.1. Check your configuration."
The way that I tried to fix this is to reload LabVIEW 7.1 and DAQmx 8.0. I am using two NI-6528 switch cards.
After I reload LabVIEW and DAQmx I can run my applications but as soon as I install one on this development machine the error begins again.
The executable that I built works fine on the development machine and any other machine that I try it on but it appears that the Run-Time engine 7.1 becomes corrupt after I run setup.exe for the newly created application.
I have built numerous Installers, setup.exe's in the past without this error. Just this latest one caused this problem to start.
I can NOT upgrade to 7.1.1. I am doing work for many different sections of this factory and I can not force them to upgrade. I've asked. Others supply code for the same machines using LabVIEW 7.1.
I am stuck creating executables and manualing moving the correct files to the target machines.
What can be done?

No. The KB article was talking about a machine with 7.1.1 installed. I have LabVIEW 7.1 installed.
The machine that I am having trouble with is my development machine. LabVIEW 7.1, DAQmx 8.0.
If I build the executable all is fine. I can still run old executables including the one I just built.
If I create the installer all is fine. I can still run old executables including the one I just built.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't, but you have a few alternatives.
Best option: If you made the movie on the DVD in iMovie (or even another editing application) and still have the project, go back to the project and export it for Apple TV (using the Apple TV preset)
Next best option: If you still have the original movie that you put on the DVD, open it in QuickTime and export it for Apple TV (using the Apple TV preset)
Worst option: Use something like Mpegstreamclip (Quicktime Mpeg2 playback component required) to convert the DVD to h264.

FormsCentral form files are stored on the FormsCentral servers. If you are the author or a co-author of the form you can access it from any machine by logging into FormsCentral. If you aren't the author or a co-author of the form you will need to contact the author and have them share the form with your FormsCentral account. cause later in the program i use index to do some condition and based on that i increment ...
so for example if i say...

will it be like

can i do like i did be4. if not what do i need to do to reuse. cause i use the variable atleast 5 time and its keep changing on diff condition level.

The c:set tag creates the variable in pageScope by default.
If you forward to another JSP you need to set the scope to be "request" so that it is still available.

The user immutable bit (uchg) is the same as the Finder lock, as described above by X423424X. It's a weak lock, with only a warning.
The system immutable bit (schg) is more powerful. Once is set, the item cannot be deleted in Finder (even though Finder will ask for your password and may give you the impression that it can trash it; it will end with an error).
I set it in Terminal, thus

and unset it also in Terminal

I'm trying to install Guide Guide for Photoshop CS 2014 using the Adobe Extension Manager CC but when clicking on the 3.1.2-guideguide.zxp I recieve the following error, "This extension cannot be installed, since it conflicts with a existing one. To install this extension, please remove the extension 'GuideGuide' which has been installed in ", then install again." Note that there is some code breaking in there where ", is. When I open Adobe Extension Manager CC there are no extensions listed. None under any of the products to the left. I can't uninstall it if it's not listed.
After reviewing the forums I have gone into my %appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\ folder and removed all folders for previous versions of Adobe Extension Manager.
Any help with this issue would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Please delete "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Configuration\DB\ExMan.db" then retry. Note that "C:\ProgramData" is hidden by default. You can input C:\ProgramData in the address bar of Windows Explorer then press "Enter" key to go into this folder.

I have Photoshop CC 2014.1.0 / 20140730.r.148 x64
I have Extension Manager CC 7.2.1.6
According to "Creative Cloud" manager, my versions of software are up to date.
I tried installing three different extensions. None of them load. When I double click on the extension file, it launches Extension Manager CC, but it appears that Extension Manager does not recognize that I have other Adobe products installed. E.g., "Failed to install the extension 'XYZ.' Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the Extension Manager recognizes at least one product which the extension supports." I get variations on this message, but the common thread seems to be "Extension Manager recognizes at least one product which the extension supports."
When I choose "Manage Extensions" from the Help menu in Photoshop, it just launches "Creative Cloud" manager, which tells me all of the software is up to date. (The first time that I tried this, it re-installed Extension Manager CC). Nothing else happens -- e.g., it does not launch Extension Manager.
Any suggestions? How do I get Extension Manager CC to recognize that I have Photoshop CC installed?

One more thing -- I have seen references in postings to an "Extension Panel" under the "Window" menu. I do not see that item in Photoshop CC. (There is "Browse Extensions Online," which allows me to find more things that I can't load).

I've tried to Quit out of Flash and re-enter but there's still nothing there. Please help.

Well, this makes things more difficult. A lot of my clients and their users have slower internet that I do, I was really trying to gage what type of user experience they might have.
Is there any indication if the 'simulation download settings' options will be brought back to CC, or added to Scout? I found it to be quite a handy feature.
