How do i restore my iphone when i carnt remember to the password, and it wont let me connect to itunes and i dont have icloud on the phone?
I forgot my password to my iphone, and now it disables, its not connected to itunes yet and when i have tried just then restore it, it wouldnt pick up the iphone. I have restarted it and pressed the home button that doesnt work either, and also it doesnt have icloud, i dont have apple store near me either. What should i do?
Are you running the most current version of iTunes (11.4)?
Try DFU Mode:
1. Plug your device into your computer.
2. Turn off the device.
3. Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
4. Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
5. Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
6. Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
NOTE: Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present. Be patient, it make take several tries.
DFU (Device Firmware Update) Mode is different than Recovery Mode.
DFU Mode is a special mode where the device can still interface with iTunes, yet it does not load the iBoot bootloader.

To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

Have you jailbroken this device? This will make the iPhone not talk to the Software Update Server (that signs and accepts software updates) please refer to the following link? Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build"
The iPhone will talk to the software update servers, just need to change the host files, it's a simple process, sorry if you were confused about the wording in to top? -
i was trying to update my iphone and it downloaded the software but when it went to install it it turned off and wont turn back on and says i need to connect to itunes and ive tried but itunes doesnt recognize its there

when i try to turn on my ipod, it tells me to connect to itunes and restore but a message pops up and says that i dont have an internet connection. the connection is on and it loads at 100mb per second.

I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Using Windows 7.
If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it serviced/replaced. You broke it. If you can't even force a reboot, there's nothing much more you can do.

When I was updating my ipod touch 4g 8g 4.3.3 the USB came out and now it just shows connect to itunes and when i try to update it comes with error 6. I do all of the help things and nothing happoned
First see if placing the iPod in Recovery Mode will allow a restore.
Next try DFU mode and restore.

Uhless this program will get the iPod out of recovery mode you will have to restore via iTunes.

i have an ipod touch and for some reason cannot connect to itunes store. I have full wifi and can get on my safari and was able to update my apps before. I can still get apps but when i try to update it says cannot connect to itunes store. Some1 help!

When I turn my iTouch on, I get a reading, "iPod is disabled"... connect to iTunes. How do I fix this? I also need to change my passcode.
What happens when you connect the iPod to your comoputer and try to restore via iTunes?
You may have to plae the iPod in recovery mode to allow the restore. For recovery mode see:

Why are videos using space on my phone when there are no videos on my phone?
When I sync my phone is shows that quite a bit of space is being used by video, but there shouldn't be any videos. How do I free up that space that is supposedly being used by "video". Thanks.
