How do I save a type for a previous version of TestStand (4.0 -- 3.5)?

I have a number of step-types saved in a type file, in TestStand 4. I would like to use this file in TestStand 3.5. Is there any way of saving this file for TestStand 3.5. I have gone into each step-type and custom-type defined in the type file, and under the Version tab, selected the "Set earliest TestStand Version that can use this type", to 3.5.0.725. However, still this file is not openable in TestStand 3.5.

The 2nd suggestion would seems to be the route to take but doesn't seem to do what Manooch suggests. If you try to save a palette out as a previous version eg TS4.1 to TS3.5 then the WriteFile wants the compatibility version in the Compatibilty TS3.5 folder otherwise it generates an error.
"An error occurred calling 'Writefile' in PropertyObjectFile' of NI TestStand API 4.1. The compatibility type palette files for selected version could not be found"
Also you need to change the Path as it will overwrite the Current version. Again not what you want. Therefore, you can not seem to do what Chris wants to do because you need the compatibility version file to create the previous version type palette file. (Manooch, Maybe I doing something wrong...)
So the first option seems to be the only workable solution.
Point to bear in mind.
Adding Types to a SequenceFile Types then saving out to a previous version doesnt modify the Type fully if you dont have a compatibility file. ie Take the "Default Step Name Expression" of a Custom Step Type contains ResStr("CUSTOM_STEPTYPES", "DEFAULT_STEP_NAME").
This resource strings don't exist in Version 3.5 or lower and therefore when you load the SequenceFile into the previous version of TestStand eg TS3.5 it will generate an error.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.

I believe there is a PDF doc which comes with the component (it should be at your harddrive when you install it), which describes everything you will need.
In a nutshell, there are two types of relationship: sibling - sibling, parent - child (there are some more nuances, but it follows the same logic).
A relationship is created between two existing items (not sure, if you can also create a relationship for a new checked in item, but it would be just a usability). You select the type of relationship and the item - I believe depending on the relationship you may start from either item. The dialog to start is INFO (display metadata) or UPDATE (update metadata).
When a relationship is created you may watch it also from either end (again INFO is the starting point).
It is quite self-explanatory, so if you have the component installed you may just play around with it for a while and that is it.

I don't think you can simply save a desktop design as a cell phone design. While in Muse and in the site plan view for you website you should see three tabs near the top of the page. If you click the "Phone" tab, you will get a pop-up dialog box asking which element you would like to copy over from your desktop site (if any). You must then design the site for cell phone use. You can use the same objects, pictures, etc. from your desktop site and Muse should automatically optimize those elements for phone use. However, Muse does not automatically take a desktop design and create a cell phone design from it.
As I understand it, Muse uses user-agent detection to decide which site it wants to display to the user. You however, need to create the different versions of your site so that Muse can apply a specific design for the intended use.

First are you going to use the same keyword/categories hierarchy in the same Elements version (or newer)? If so, using the backup/restore process will also restore your hierarchy.
If you want to create the same hierarchy in an older Elements version, it's possible to save that hierarchy in a special text file and to restore it in the new catalog in the destination computer. It's also possible to restore it in another catalog in the same computer.
Look at the title bar of the keywords panel. Next to the '+' sign on the right, you see a small icon which opens a menu offering the option to save or to restore the text file.

For error 51, you need to set the default document type in the inbound processing FM of the IDOC
Standard type - NB
Subcontrator type
Blank PO
Service PO
Stock transport PO.
Document types is used for below things,
1. It controls the no. range of the document i.e. the doc no.
2. It controls whether doc no. is auto assigned or manually entered
3. It controls the field status of the doc header fields i.e. whether input is mandatory or optional
4. It controls the physical doc filing

How to find the approval status for a document version

Hi all,
We have enabled versioning on a folder and the system is maintaining the versions. I need to be able to identify which version in at what status.
For example, I create a file and it creates a version, I check it in and out several times, I then release/publish the file, and another version is created, I then check it out and in several times and the cycle begins again.
I then realize that I need to go back to the latest released version but I don't know which one it is nor can I identify it using the 'versions' selection from details. How do I know what the status is of the previous versions?
I need to be able to identify only those versions, past and present, that were 'approved/released' vs those that were left in progress. How do I find the statuses of the previous versions to correctly identify which version was released.
KM is maintaining this some how because it knows to show only those items that are released to the standard user and not show them those that are in progress.
How do I find that same parameter that shows me which older version is release?
I am looking for something like what is available with the properties selection on the 'versions' screen. I am able to go to any version and look at the properties of that version at the time the version was saved. This is what I need with status. I need to be able to look at any version and know what status was at the time it was saved.

According to my knowledge,Versioning can only be done on files, not folders.
To view the version history of a file, as well as save prior revisions to another location to view them do this:
       1.      Using Windows Explorer, locate the file.
       2.      Right-click the file and select Versioning and then select List Version History.
The resulting dialog displays the version history of this file.
       3.      Select a prior version and click the Save As button to save the version to another location.

How do I get my photos from a previous version of Photoshop Elements (6) into Photoshop Elements 12? Do I restore from a backup? I have over 12,000 pics ( a good portion with multiple versions) and don't want to lose captions and metadata. Thank you in advance for your help.

If this is on the same computer just install PSE 12. It should find your old catalog and upgrade it to PSE 12. If for some reason it doesn't, then go to file>manage catalogs, find your old catalog and tell PSE 12 to convert it.
If this is a new computer, then yes, full backup and restore.

Adobe Reader XI did not save the form data (unlike previous versions). Any way to recover filled form with data from temp locations?
I was not aware that ctrl+s no longer works in reader and closed the PDF after savign it(with ctrl+s). However ,the data is lost and there seems to be no way to recover it.
I cannot find any temp files created by Reader on my system.
Also to my surprize(and shock), the reader did not even show a warning before closing the PDF. Does anybody know if/where can I recover the file from?

Are you using Adobe Reader XI? And not Acrobat. It does not ask me to save the form if there are unsaved changes.
I have used previous versions of reader for saving this form data and it did allow me to save it with ctrl+s. And those versions did prompt me to save the changes before closing.
I guess I should not have updated the reader.
