How do you reverse a goods receipt document of a service entry sheet?

How do you reverse a goods receipt document of a service entry sheet? Your help/opinions will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

You can sue the ML81N itself to delete the service entry sheet and once you will delete the SES, system will generate the Material document for reversal of GR.
Go to ML81N and enter the service number and change the screen to change mode.
If release statergy is used for this then cancel the release using the same statergy.
Click Revoke acceptance button or Ctrl + F2.

      In one of my reports  i need to bring purchase order ,service entry sheet, goods receipt number .
    In ekbe i am getting the purchase order and its service entry sheet while keeping BEWTP = 'D'.
    so i am getting purchase orders and their service entry sheet numbers in belnr.
    Now i want to get the corresponding goods receipt number .
    But i am getting goods receipt number against the purchase order but not against service entry sheet , in same EKBE 
    while keeping BEWTP = 'E' movement type = '101'.
    My doubt here is how to get the corresponding goods reciept number for a service entry sheet.
    if i have three service entry sheet numbers for a purchse order i have three goods receipt numbers
    but how to get the relation between them  which GRN to which service entry sheet
    . is there any table which stores the service entry and its grn.
    If i am any thing functionally wrong  which i wrote above please correct me and give ur inputs.

    Hi Sarath,
         If the Purchase order Item category is 'D' then it is a service order then it can have N service entry sheet numbers and once each service entry sheet is accepted it will be available for Goods reciept .. so that information will be avaiable..
    U can obtain the GRN against the Service entry sheet in EKBE itself.
    BELNR refers to GRN
    LFBNR refers to Service entry sheet number.
    And hence i am closing the thread.

  • Good receipt is mismatching with Service Entry sheet

    Hi friends
    I have a problem in my client's live system
    1. First I had processed service entry sheet through ML81n for 1 quantity and price of Rs.100
    2. Due to this service entry sheet system created GR for 1 quantity and price of Rs.100.
    3. While processing Invoice through we had wrongly entered the price as Rs. 10 and posted & later when we came to know that the entry in MIRO is wrong, we had canceled the invoice through MR8M, by which the system had reversed the Invoice as - Rs.10.
    4. Now I had revoked the service entry sheet and deleted the entry, so it became Rs.00. but the corresponding is only reversed for the IR amount as -Rs.10.
    In my PO history it is reflecting as Rs. 0 in Service entry sheet & in Invoice but in GR entry is showing me as Rs.90.
    How to correct this entries.
    Please help me.

    I have tested the same scenario..
    I created the PO for 100AU for 1000SAR..
    I created SES and accepted..
    MIRO for 10 AU, ie for 100SAR.. ( but i changed the line item manually for value, otherwise it did propose only 1000SAR)
    cancelled Inv..
    Deleted SES..
    But as you said GR was still showing for 900 SAR..
    I again did MIRO for 1000SAR..
    Afterwards i tried creating MIRO again by referring PO as well as by referring both entry sheets... But it didn't pick any value from any of the referred documents..
    I think it is standard behaviour..
    But if i try the same scenario without deleting the SES,  and only by cancelling the inv doc which i had posted for 100SAR..
    then again did MIRO for 1000... it is working fine...
    So my comment above was correct.. If invoice entry was wrong, it is enough to cancel the inv doc and no need to delete the service entry sheet

  • Reversal of goods receipt document at incorrect rate

    Hello,
    We have problem with reversing of goods receipt document.
    We have created a PO and fixed our exchange rate in PO. Then, we did GRN and system picked up exchange rate fixed in PO.
    After this we reversed our GRN document but this time the rate was not picked up from PO but rather from Exchange rate maintainance table i.e TCode OB08.
    Note: No change was done in PO in between of this two transaction
    Could you please tell me why this has hapenned and how to get rate from PO instead of OB08 while reversing GRN or any other way to achieve this.

    Here the Inventory has been reversed at rate from OB08. One more thing to notice is that Amt in Local currency is same in both entries i.e it is driving the transaction currency

  • Cancelling Material Receipts generated from approved Service Entry Sheets

    Several service entry sheets were entered twice into SAP and approved for Vendor .  Upon approval, material receipt documents were created and because the vendor is ERS, invoices were created and paid.  Manual credit memos have been processed in AP so the vendor has been charged back but the GR/IR GL account won't clear without the material receipt reversals. 
    To properly credit the job and debit the GR/IR GL account for this duplication, reversing material receipt documents need to be created. Anybody knows how to do the correction?
    please advise.

    Please follow the below steps.
    01. First Cancel the Invoice
    02. GO ML81N and in change mode you will get rewoke service entry sheet, a      pop will come for posting dates enter the posting dates. and save . It will change the reverse the GR document created through Service entry. Set deletion indicator if you want.

    1. I think u could use services for objects is the best way to fulfil requirement.
    note: a. If u want to use ESSR as business document. u need to go for Archive linking and store document as business
                  document in Services for objects.
    2. If u going to use standard object linking from DMS for 'ESSR' object so for not exist.
        Note:reason is not required any DMS object linking here as i guess. Coz u will be creating Entry sheet agianst Purchase
                orders and vendors too.
                 IN PLM, u can maintain DIR in purchase order or u can maintain in vendor masters. any how u r filling WBS nor also in
                 basic data sheeet of ML81N.
                 So datacan be easily tracable due to all are interconnected each other.
    3. If u want to use ESSR as object link from DMS u need go for development. but this is not required as i guess.

  • How to block WBS or Network element field in Service Entry Sheet ML81n

    Hi Guru
    Would like to seek your advise on the following query.
    We use Service master to trigger Purchase Order Service related (Item category = D; AAC = P).
    Then, user will use T\code ML81n to create service entry sheet by reference to Purchase Order and service master document. During Service entry sheet creation, usually WBS element or Network element field will be populated automatically based on the information from Purchase Order.
    However, user could overwrite the WBS element or Network element in service entry sheet. Thus, it creates discrepency WBS\Network element between PO and Entry Sheet.
    1. Is there any way we could retrieve Service entry sheet not to allow user to update the WBS\network element field?
    2. What will be the impact if we block the field from user.

    Thanks for your reply.
    When I trace the service master, there is no specify field to input WBS element.
    Also, I have checked the service master entered by user, it seems that only the following fields are filled:-
    Service Category
    BuoM
    Mat\Service Group
    Valuation class
    The rest of field are remained as blank as it might due to multiple WBS element shared 1 same service master
    Please advise how I should block the WBS element from service entry to prevent overwriting.

  • Link between Service Entry Sheet and Material Document

    Hi
    I am busy with developing a report where i am required to find the link between the Material Document and Service Entry Sheet. 
    I am aware that on the Purchase Order Data tab of the Material Document has the service entry sheet number and line item.  However the problem I have picked up here is in the event I create a Service Entry Sheet  with a service in line 1 and for some reason Delete that Line and then capture the service again, it is saved in table ESLL as line 2.  This is correct.  However when I have a look at the material document, it references it as line 1 of the service entry.  Is there any way to get this in sync?

    This table does show the service entry sheet number and line item however the line item does not correspond with the line item on the service entry sheet.
    Eg.
    I create a service entry sheet where I capture a service in line 1.
    I delete Line 1
    I recapture on line 2.
    Post Service Entry
    The Material Doc reference document is the service entry however the line item for the reference is 1.
    I need to try and link the line items

  • Change account upon reversing Goods receipt document (MIGO)

    Hello,
    I have the following situation at hand:
    A goods receipt document (MIGO- 101) is posted in the month of June. Everything OK, account determination correctly.
    Now in the month of July we want  to cancel this goods receipt (MIGO - 102). My client does not allow postings in months already closed!
    The complexity is that upon reversing the goods receipt the request is that a different account is posted.
    In the standard SAP funcionality upon reversing a material document, the same accounts get debited and credited.
    How can I acomplish this request?  Is there a BADI or user-exit available to manipulaste in this particular situation the accounts posted?

    The complexity is that upon reversing the goods receipt the request is that a different account is posted.
    Here  company  required  in  different  account  or  when  you  done  reversal  it posted  in  to  different  account .
    Whenever  we  done  reversal  same  accounting  will  be   debited  and  credited  (Standard  Behavior )

    I ahve to make changes in Goods receipt Document. I am having the folling details with me .
    Program Name : - SAPM07DR
    Form Routine : - ENTRY_WE02
    FORM : ZWESCHEINVERS2.
    When i take print out for Goods receipt Document using transaction MB02 it print some RETURN DELIVERY SLIP. Bu when i check for FORM for output type WE02, it show the ZWESCHEINVERS2 form but this form is for Goods receipt Document. Can any one help to find out the way to print Goods receipt Document for any Material Document No.

    Go to NACE transaction and find the correct form and program has been called. Once it is verified, make necessary changes in the required form for Goods reciept.

       I have got requirement like this , I have done Goods Receipt Note (GRN) based on Purchse order Number using '.BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' with 101 movement type.
       But now my requirement is reversal of good receipt note(GRN) based on Material Document Number (or) Purchase Order Number with 102 movement type. what is the bapi name i need to use. and i need to give reason for the reversal of GRN.
    please tell me the field name for reason  in bapi.
    i have searched in the net, but i could not get proper answer to this isse.
    Highly appriciate who gives answer as early as possible. I need to complete this task EOD. please give replies.

    Hi,
    If your material document has specific movement type i.e. 101, if you cancel document using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CANCEL, it automatically picks associated movement type 102 defined in customizing setting, you don't need to pass 102 explicitly while cancelling.
    I have not seen reason code in this bapi, but it is required to pass reason code then you may try transaction code MBST using BDC.

  • Error while using BAPI  to create Goods Receipt Document

    Hello All,
        While using the bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to create  Goods receipt document ,the following error is encountered:-
    Error Message:FOR OBJECT XABBELEGNR,NUMBER RANGE INTERVAL DOES NOT EXIST OM36.
    Do we need to create a number range object ??If yes,how and where to create ?

    There is only a valid interval missing, not the whole object.
    Maintenance can be done via transaction SNRO, enter your object XABBELEGNR in entry screen. (Alternatively use transaction OMJ6).
    Push button 'Number Ranges' and 'Change Intervals'. Here you can define an interval.

    Is there any place else they can view vendor, vendor name for those good receipt documents .

    Please go to FBL1N, In Dynamic Selection give document as "WE", this will give and enable Purchase Order Number
    This will give you Vendor Name, Purchase Order and  FI Document number or u can try MB51, there you will not get Vendor Name, but you will get Vendor Code, Material Document Number and Purchase Order Number

    I think you can make use of SHD0 - Transaction variant to achieve this. You can make it as grayed out while recording steps in SHD0.
