I figured out(by trying each and every menu until I figured out it was the tools menu. when I get to the last step it says click the remove button. There is NO remove button at that point (just an enable button which is the last thing I want to do. I am talking about the Cinema ploos extension. It represents it's self as an upgrade with many improved features, but all it is is an add bot that is noisy and obnoxious and they want a one time fee (extorsion) to remove it

What you can redownload will depend upon what country that you are in - music, films and TV programmes can't be redownloaded in all countries, audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads. What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes (if content providers/rights-holder have removed items from the store then they also won't show for redownloading)

Tabs will not load sometimes unless I move the cursor or hold down an arrow button. If I close all tabs and reopen, it will work properly for a while then start doing the same thing. I've tried disabling add-ons but it does not help.

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

I want to completley disable the installation and/or use of add-ons in Firefox 4. I don't want anybody that logs onto either of my computers to be able to use add-ons and I can't find a way to disable it in the configuration files. I've found ways to lock down other options like updates etc. but I cannot find a way to completely disable add-ons.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Working add-ons can be removed easily with a single button - whereas, disabled ones are not presented in the Add-on Manager with a means for removal.
Seems an oversight; but in any event, with nothing in the FAQs about removing disabled add-ons, I'm hoping someone will point the way to add-on handling details

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe Mode:

I am trying to download e-print (Print what you want) and I keep getting a message saying I must uninstall the current Bing Search Engine. Actually, I never downloaded Bing. It just appeared. had this problem after accidentally downloaded the yahoo toolbar along with an adobe product. Firstly, tried to remove it control panel in add/remove programmes but it refused to uninstal. Since then was told by technicians of my ip to use Revo uninstaller the free ed. Next step was go to tools then options. On the general tab, at the bottom you will find manage-add-ons. under search provider do not want. f yahoo is still there disable it.
Also go to internet options in control panel and set up there too. Be sure to find and tick the option that other search engines cannot change yours. Be sure to set the appropriate home page.

I've installed a few search engines as add ons in Firefox Mobile, and want to change the order they are listed in.
I'd expect this to be a simple drag and drop (I believe Opera Mobile allows search engines to be reorded by drag and drop), but that doesn't work.

The only method right now is to disable or uninstall search engines. Doing a better job of being able to adjust this would be good.
