How Get Quicktime Window Zoom Button to Function Properly?

A newly opened Quicktime window won't expand when I click on the window's green toggle button in the upper left corner. But if I first expand the window by dragging its corner, I can then toggle between the new and original sizes.
How can I get my green button to perform properly for Quicktime (it works fine for other apps)?

Yes, the keys you suggested work. Thank you. So I guess my question has become borderline academic.
But I'm still bothered by the initial inertness of the green button, which works as designed ONLY following the first MANUAL size change after the file has been opened. Same behavior whether that first size change was made by dragging or by the Command 1,2,3 or Command F keys.
Is there maybe a Quicktime system file that's been corrupted that I could reinstall?

  • How get pure windows 7 disc

    I have Toshiba netbook NB305 and I don't want to install a Toshiba software on it. Where I can get pure Windows 7 installation disk? Can I recovery my Operating System without Toshiba Applications?

    not if you want your laptop to run smooth. most of those programs that seem like a waste dont take up much space and make the laptop run the way it is supposed to. removing anything that has toshiba in the name is not recommended. if you still want to do this you would need to buy a retail copy like lilmaqi stated.

  • PCI-6602: How do I ensure that it is functioning properly??

    Hi!
    I have installed a PCI-6602 into my system.
    I have ran a "Self-Test" on the board and it says it passed.
    We are trying to generate a pulse through PFI36 cntr0. For some reason, it is not generating the signal from the software we recieved from another company.
    Is it possible that a NI-DAQmx version difference could be driving this problem? We have a 8.8.0f2 and they have 8.7.1f3.
    Are there any other "Self-Tests" we can run on this board to ensure that the NI board is functioning properly?
    What other problems could we be looking at?
    Thanks for your time!

    Hello,
    You can do this:  Set up a slow pulse train for CTR0 (1Hz).  Set up a continuous digital channel read for Port 0 Line 0 on your card.  Hook up CTR0 output (pin 5) to P0.0 (pin 10).  Start your program to do the counter output pulse train and continuous read.  You should see your digital line transition from high to low over time.  The examples you can use to set this up are Gen Dig Pulse Train-Continuous.vi and Cont Read Dig Chan-Int Clk.vi.  For Cont Read Dig Chan-Int Clk.vi, remove the DAQmx Timing VI to make it software timed, and connect the task handle and error wires accordingly. They can be ran from separate VI's as they don't use the same resources.
    To be exact on the verbage used, you can perform a self-test on the device by right clicking the device in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and select Self-Test.  As for testing the device manually, go with what I described above.

  • How do I get the Project Window of iMovie '11 functioning properly?

    The scrubber in the Project Window runs painfully slow. It has to think about literally every movement, but if I just hit Play it will run smoothly. The scrubber in the Event Window also works fine. I had thought it was because I didn't have enough space in the Startup Disk, but I've cleared it out and nothing's changed.

    If you had iMovie 9 and upgraded to Mavericks, iMovie 9 should still be in your Applications folder  in a folder called imovie 9.0.9.  You can still use it and your Events and projects folders should still be present.

    The code below is for the radio buttons, The choice is to either pay for an "Economic" ticket, or a "First Class" ticket. If a customer selects the economic ticket radio button, what line of coding do i add to the write method above, to show "Economic ticket"
    JRadioButton EconomyButton = new JRadioButton(EconomyString);
    EconomyButton.setMnemonic(KeyEvent.VK_C);
    EconomyButton.setActionCommand(EconomyString);

    Also i ran into another slight problem, theres a textbox called "Fine" in another form called "page1", how do i call it's value i.e. what line of code do i place for it in the method above? Help,

    Try to use the "[ code][ code]" tags, it makes your code much easier to read! :)
    If you want a method, such as write() to be able to get text from a radio button, such as EconomyButton, make sure to declare it higher in your code and public, so you can use the method:EcononomyButton.getText()Also note, you may find it easier if you rename your variables to lower case, such as "economyButton", and your classes upper case.
    For more information on ways to get information out of a button you've created, check out the javadocs:
    http://www.google.com/search?&q=java+5+jradiobutton
    Note, if you scroll down, you'll see a bunch of "Methods Inherited By" stuff. You can use them too!

  • How to stop Windows disabling BootCamp keypad functions?

    Windows keeps disabling Boot Camp keyboard functions.
    Have to reload disk and perform repair.
    Last until next window update, then becomes disabled again.

    If it is a 15" model, than it should have two GPUs. Use the internal display and download gfxCardStatus. Ensure your are using the Intel GPU and test your browsers. If the screen issues are resolved, then nVidia (or driver) is suspect, otherwise I suspect the logic board.
    You can also check the Mac Using Apple Hardware Test - Apple Support . It may not find all issues.

  • How to mark window close button as "unsaved"?

    Using SWT, you can change the main window quit/close icon/button (in upper left corner of title bar) to indicate that the file/whatever of the application has not been saved. The code to do that in SWT is something like this -
    Shell shell = new Shell(new Display(), SWT.CLOSE | SWT.TITLE | SWT.BORDER | SWT.MIN);
    shell.setModified(true);
    Is this feature available in Java FX 2.2? If not, has there been a bug/request filed for it?

    I had a question going in the same direction: "Is there any way to disable the close button in a decorated stage?" but from your answer to the previous question, I guess this is not possible... could you please confirm this? A workaround would be to set an event handler to consume the window close event. Looks like I'll need to go that way. Or could you suggest a better way?I don't think it's possible with to disable the button in JavaFX 2.2 - if you did, it would provide an inconsistent native windowing experience for the user anyway as I've never seen a close button on a Windows 7 app disabled.
    However, as you point out, you can capture (and handle or ignore) the events if generated. You can do this by setting an onCloseRequest event handler for the window and calling event.consume() in the handler. (relevant javadoc comment):
    https://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/stage/Window.html#setOnCloseRequest%28javafx.event.EventHandler%29
    Called when there is an external request to close this Window. The installed event handler can prevent window closing by consuming the received event.------
    You could check out my related answer at StackOverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12874664/javafx-entirely-customized-windows, for some other thoughts on this on customizing decorated and undecorated windows, but I think most has already been said in this thread.

        <p class="style6 style9">“I have been working with Owen Dawson for the past 7 years. During that time my swing has dramatically changed and improved. This has happened through Owen's drills and use of video. It is because of these techniques, that I understand how to hit good shots but just as importantly why I hit a shot poorly. I’m glad I’ve had the opportunity to work with Owen and would highly recommend him. ” <strong>Sam Young - Country Club of Maryland - 2009 Men's Club Champion </strong></p>
        <p class="style2">.............................................</p>
        <p class="style6 style9">“Owen does two things  particularly well, in my opinion.  First, he is a master of recording  technology, and it really helps me to see what I need correcting, and what the  new move needs to be.  Second, Owen knows what the best next step should be  in your own journey to a better swing.  I have taken one or two lessons  from Owen each year for the last three or four years – one relatively small  step at a time, and then worked on grooving that step.  In that period, my  index has dropped about 8 strokes, and in 2007 I won the Club’s “Most Improved  Player” award.  Kudos to Owen!”</p>

  • Buttons not functioning properly

    Hi, i have 41 slides in my presentation. At the start there
    is a Next button. The slide pauses after 12 seconds to allow the
    user to click on it. It then goes to the next screen. However if
    you use the Back button on the controls below to go back to that
    screen and click on the Next button again......it no longer works.
    Infact the fwd button on the controls dont work either. I pressed
    it a few times and then all of a sudden it jumped to slide 35!!???
    Which has a slide with two buttons - one to go to the next slide
    and one to go back to the start.....neither of these work. I am
    using the blue image buttons. How can I overcome this?
    Thanks

    Well that solved all but one of them. Thanks for that - but
    there's one where it is playing about 10 frames of animation after
    the click, so I can't use the gotoAndStop or it won't play the
    animation. Its a little tough to describe, but Im using gotoAndPlay
    and that sends it to a labeled frame, which plays an animation
    where a white box fades in to cover everything. When the white box
    is at 100% opacity I have a gotoAndPlay action on that frame which
    tells it to start playing an embedded timeline. There's about 10
    frames on that embedded timeline too and then a stop. The stop on
    the main timeline comes before the embedded one - but those run
    independently as far as I know. It all works fine for the first
    click, but a second click, no matter how fast or slow I click
    advances it to the second stop on the embedded timeline, the main
    timeline replays the correct portion again. Hopefully that makes
    some sense..
    I have posted what I have so far so you can look at what I am
    saying. The button I'm talking about is the "projects" button on
    the bottom of the screen. A second click sends it to another page.

  • Menu button not functioning properly

    Hi everyone. After I upgraded my iPod Software to Version 1.2.3 I noticed that my menu button starting working improperly. Here is what it is doing, while listening to music I press the menu button to go back and it pauses the music that I am listening to. I press it again and it restarts the music, sometimes from the pause point and other times from the beginning. After I press the button a bunch more times, it goes back a menu but the music will pause, restart, and play a few seconds afterwards. Has anyone heard about this happening or does anyone got a suggestion? F.Y.I. I have completed the 5 R's twice with no luck.
    I have an iPod 80GB 5G

    Hi,
    As this issue seems to be software (firmware) related, you might want to give a try to CopyTrans Doctor http://www.copytrans.net/doctor.php before sending your iPod for repair.
    CopyTrans Doctor is said to be a "software iPod repair solution".
    That may help.

  • The all windows feature is not functioning properly

    When I used the all windows feature ( via gesture, hot corner, or key (F3)) only the minimized windows are represented. The open windows are faded to the background, all of them. It seems to work when the computer first starts up.
    I honestly have no clue what sparked this issue.
    Any Ideas?
    And has anyone else had this issue?

    Hi Raj
        The error "The SSL support feature is not properly configured. Https is not available" will not cause any problems for you during synchronization.  The reason that this error is displayed is due to the fact that by default MI is configured to support HTTPS Synchronization and not HTTP. This is because it is recommeded to use HTTPS sync inorder to transmit data in a secure manner and this is very necessary in customer production system.  This so called error will not have any impact on sync but is just an information to the administrator.  This can be disabled by the use of parameter <b><i>MobileEngine.Security.SSLSupport=false</i></b> but make sure that this parameter is set to false even before performing the first sync i.e before obtaining a device id.  If you set this value to false after performing some syncs, the error is still visibile in either the Web Console or the NetWeaver Administrator because it would have been sent by the previous sync and these statments are retained and never purged.  Hope this helps and clarifies your doubts.
