How long should it take to recover from a invalid feed?

I posted the 2nd edition of my Podcast Sunday night, the 16th, at about 9:30 P.M. local time. Unfortunately, I'd just updated my version of podPress, a WordPress plug-in that handles publishing Podcasts for me, and I'd failed to read the directions properly, which led to an invalid feed which, in turn, led to iTunes ignoring it.
I corrected the problem at 12:47 A.M. on Tuesday the 18th and have pinged iTunes several times since then, but after nearly 48 hours, iTunes still only displays the 1 episode.
Is there anyone at Apple who might have pity on me and see that the Podcast gets updated soon? If not, how much longer should I have to wait? I'm losing listeners, I fear.

It's currently in the computer installed, I've inserted my installation disk, but how long should it take for it to load? How were you booting from the DVD drive? Did you hold down the C key at startup? Try holding down the Option key to get a Boot Selection screen, Wait 30+ seconds for the DVD disc to show up and select it to boot from.
If when using the Option key you never get the install DVD disc showing up or after selecting it to boot from the system just sits there for any length of time, over 2 minutes, then your Supredrive is not reading it. This is a very common problem with the Supredrives. They seem to work for some things and not for others or they just fail out of the blue.
I suggest you go out and buy any brand External DVD drive that connect by USB port (That is Except the Apple USB External Superdrive as they won'r work on your model Mac notebook) and try booting the install DVD from that external DVD drive.

It's about a gigabyte, so if you have a slow connection, it might take some time.
But - you shouldn't be getting the beach ball - that's a different thing.

Ripping DVD's - How long should it take?

How long should it take to rip a whole DVD? PQDVD seems the easiest, but it rips at 1x speed (or close to it). Are there programs out there that do it faster? Are there programs that are cheaper? $35 is a lot of money.

I use DVD Decryptor (free) to rip the VCD files from the DVD.
I then use Videora for iPod to encode them to MP4.
Time for DVD Decrypt is about 15 minutes for a 2 hour movie.
Time for Videora is about an hour and a half for a 2 hour movie (give or take a half hour).
DVD Decryptor needs to be set to Not split the files based on size, and there is another tab that asks if you want to split the VCD files at all. Both set to none, find in the options screen.

DFSR - This member is waiting for initial replication for replicated folder SYSVOL Share - How long should it take?

Yesterday we were forced to perform a non-authoritative sync of the SYSVOL folder as replication had stopped because one of the DCs had been disconnected from it's replication partner for more than 60 days (caused by a unexpected shutdown and we did not
pick up on the fact replication had stopped until now).
I performed the non-authoritative sync of the SYSVOL folder and now the folder is in state 2
ReplicatedFolderName ReplicationGroupName State
SYSVOL Share Domain System Volume 2
and has been for more than 12 hours. The DFS replication health report, reports "This member is waiting for initial replication for replicated folder SYSVOL Share".
How long should it take and is there anyway to force it so that replication can resume?

Encoding time depends on several things (mosty common are)
• Free Space on Start-Up (Mac OS) get's low eg less than 5Gb - and encoding time get's stupidly long
I never go under 25Gb free spae
• What You feed iDVD. Some Codecs/Fileformats just get's encoded stright of - but others needs to be converted first (re-coded) by iDVD first - can also take eons of time.
So Please tell where Your material came from and in what Codec/File format
• What Mac was Used to encode. My Mac G3 600MHz - took about 30 hours per hour movie. My dG5 2GHz was close to 1:1 - My new MacBook Pro 2.2GHz i7 - Have not tried yet - May be even faster ?

Restore Ipod? How Long Should This Take?

I received my replacement iPod back from Apple this afternoon. As a Windows 2000 user, I followed the instructions provided to reset the iPod for Windows. Namely to install the latest updater, restart PC, run updater... connect iPod and select Restore when the box became available.
The message then popped up saying Your iPod has been restored to factory settings and is restarting. Please leave the iPod connected and wait while it completes the restore process.
Just how long should this take? I hit restore at 14:15pm UK time, it's now 22:15 and it's still sat there with the same message, iPod blinking Do Not Disconnect and seemingly nothing else happening. Should it be restarted by now?
If it helps, am running Win 2000 SP4, used iPod updater 11-17-05, PC has 192mb RAM and is PIII 600Mhz.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated!

I clicked the X. It told me application couldn't be cancelled. Shut down PC anyway. Disconnected iPod. Apple logo shows up. Battery charger image shows, so I connected it to the mains charger... it sat there, thought about it and told me it was fully charged! Is now sat here quite happily accepting tunes from my iTunes library!
Thanks ever so much for the help, really appreciate it! Going to work tomorrow will seem more worthwhile having music to listen to!
