How record exact time and data

Now I have labview and DAQ card E6251, I want to get data and exact time together and then write them to file. Would you like to give me some sample VI or suggestion?

Hi Sean,
The place to start with data acquisition and LabVIEW is the NI Example Finder.
This can be found by the following method:
   1. Run Labview
   2. Click the Help menu button
   3. Click the Find Examples button
   4. On the right hand side; Click Hardware Input/Output->DAQmx->Analog Measurement->Voltage->Cont Acq&Graph Voltage - Write Data to File (TDMS).VI
When this example runs, click the Physical Channel drop down menu near the upper left hand corner on the front panel, select your
   physical channels to sample.
Click the Run button to begin acquiring data, a dialog box will prompt you to enter a filename and location for saving the TDMS file.
When you stop the acquisition the TDMS File Viewer will open the file for examination.
After playing with this example for a bit, please re-read the comments that Dennis K. and others have made earlier in this thread, everything will make more sense at that point.

Is there a way to find exactly when a certain web page was visited? I know if I go to Tools/Page Info, I can see how many times that page was visited, but I would like to know if I can find the exact time and date. Thank you.

I am using Firefox version 3.6.13

You can find the last time a web page was visited by using the Library.
In the History menu select "Show All History" to open the Library. You can use the Library to view the history, and by default it will show the last date & time the site was visited. If the Visit Date column is not visible, within the Library select Views, then Show Columns, then Visit date to display that column.

Putting time and dates on pictures

does anyone know how to put time and dates on pictures that are being taken?

Without knowing what exactly is the difference it is difficult to "advice on what PSE9 is doing". Can you post what is the "correct" date on the photo in the camera and what is the date now in PSE. I would expect some time difference between the two because the timezone may be different in the camera and the timezone on your computer might also be different but correct t because of auto-update in computers using the Internet.
To give you an example, if your timezone is Central Time (US and Canada) then 10:00 hours on your photo will have a different time when moved to a computer with timezone set in Dublin, London, Lisbon or Edinburgh. the difference will be 6 hours. Apart from this I can't think of anything else.

What's the problem? The previous example was pretty clear. Just adapt it to your purposes...

How to show two different plots with current system time and date on waveform chart

I am using one waveform chart to display the more than one value continiously. The data are comming properly but i am not getting my system (pc) time and date on x axis. It is showing default date and time (i.e.01/01/1904 5:30:45). Please give me suggestions to display the real time and date on x axis of waveform chart.

How does your data look like? Do you graph waveform data types, dynamic data, or plain arrays/clustes? In the case of plain arrays, you need to set x0 to the absolute start time of your data, e.g. with a property node.
I you would attach your code (or an image) we could offer more specific advice. There are too many possibilities.

I installed the HP Office Jet 4622 All-in-one Printer and everything works wonderfu. However on the test page for the fax the time and date are showing Jan-00-00 00:00AM. I do not know how to change the date and time. Please help. Thanks.

Use the Setup (wrench icon) button on the front of the printer to look through the settings menu to set the printer time and date.

How To Include Current Time and Date in Form

Does anyone know how I can include the time and date in the
body of a form mailer? Our system allows the receiver of each
submitted form to copy the body of the form entries and paste them
into either Excel or FileMaker for database building. They would
like to have the time and date also appear somewhere in the
submitted body so they will not have to do a seperate copy/paste of
the time and date seen in the header... I followed the javascript I

Can you not use when the email's timestamp?
Also, in z7's script, beware the common mistakes, if you try
to retype it - .getDate() gives the day of the month (1-31), but
.getDay() gets the day of the week (1-7). To make it more
confusing, .getMonth() gets the month (0-11), so you have to add
one to make it human-readable. The script posted is correct, but I
went round and round with my PC when I tried to do that the first
time!

Good morning. I need to perform a query to know how many clients PCs are active or inactive during the a specific time and date (let say, today 9pm). In my query, I want to know:
1. How many client PCs is active at that time and date?
2. How many client PCs is not inactive at that time and date?

Thank you Gerry for pointing out that it doesn't show real time date. I do agree with that. However, I am look at the (at least in this) report which supposed to [description] shows a list of computers not reporting any power activity for a specified date
and time. Since I can only key in date in my selection (time option not given), I am expecting the report to show me whether there any client PCs that doesn't any power activity for the specified date. A list was generated, and a number of them shows HardwareInventoryScan,
LastHeartBeatScan and LastPolicyRequest on the same date itself. I would like to know why these appears, so that I can learn from it.
Due to the selection option given, I can't expect my original goal, but at least (hopefully) I can get to know (past event) how many and which client PCs is not powered on a particular date based on the date and collection selected.
At least by getting explainations, I hope to learn something from this (how to read this report). Thanks in advance.

Handbrake, MPEG Streamclip and Evon all replace the original timecode with the date of modification. This is very frustrating when you are trying to keep the chronology right. I know that if you upload the files to iMovie from one device the chronology isn't a problem, but I'm adding video files from a couple of iPhones and a couple of camcorders. any help much appeciated.
