How should I configure XI to Send Purchasing Data to Catalog?

Hi,
I'm asked to do the config for XI for the transfer of records from R/3 to CCM.
The report RM06CCMEXP is on the ECC system and when this is run i can see that data is sent to XI.
In XI i see a message from the ECC system:
Sender Service               BS_ECC_DEV
Sender Namespace        http://sap.com/xi/APPL/Global
Sender Interface             CatalogueUpdateNotification_Out.
This is also as is described in the sap.help.com at this link

Questions
Is the interface 'CatalogueUpdateNotification_Out' the correct one?
If yes, i need to know which SWCV i need to get the namespace "http://sap.com/xi/APPL/GLOBAL" in the Integration Directory? I suppose it is standard in the SLD, but which one is it? If i have that, are there standard mappings there that i could use?
If the interface that sends the data is not the correct one, how do i change do i configure the ECC system to use another interface, and which one should it be? And then can i just proceed as is described in the cookbook for CCM 2.0?

I know this type of problem. Solution is very simple. All you need to do it is download from service.sap.com software distribution center proper XI Content of SAP APPL and upload SAP APPL to your Integration Repository.
Choose the latest version of SAP APPL component.

How should I configure my hard drives?

I have a 1st Gen Mac Pro and have just bought 3 750GB Seagate Barracuda hard drives, I still have the 250GB drive in bay one, and have also bought Logic Studio, but before i install Logic, I was wondering what people suggestions would be regarding partitioning etc.
My plan was to us the 250GB for the system stuff,
Drive 2 for audio
Drive 3 for sample based plugin (I have synthogy Ivory Grand for example)
Drive 4 not sure yet.
that is without partitions, but I can't remember on which forum I read about doing some kind of partition where you split a drive into 95% and 5% and the 5% part spins faster and is better for the audio drive. Is this correct and how do I know if I'm partitioning the right 5% in OS 10.5.2 ?

I have 3 drives in my Mac Pro. The standard 320gig in bay 1 and 2 Seagate 500gig drives in bays 2 and 3.
My configuration is similar to yours in that I use drive 1 for software installs and OS, drive 2 for audio and drive 3 for sample library. I don't know about the 5% partition, never heard of that, but I formatted my drives in this way:
Drive 1 Mac OS Extended, Journaled.
Drive 2 Mac OS (i.e NOT journaled and NOT case-sensitive)
Drive 3 Mac OS (i.e NOT journaled and NOT case-sensitive)
Because I was doing a clean install I let Logic Studio do a full install putting all of it's instruments and samples in their default locations. I then moved the samples (not the instruments, just the samples) to my Samples drive before I ran Logic. But, as Bee Jay kindly and very thoroughly went through, you can't move ALL of the included Samples across.
I moved the SAMPLES, (not the instruments) from:
/Library/Application Support/Logic/
/Library/Application Support/Garageband
being sure to leave the Hybrid sample folders exactly where they were as moving them causes issues. Similarly, the instruments and channel strips (.exs files etc) should be left in their default locations too.
I could move the Ultrabeat samples but on loading a kit, I was always asked where the samples were. I aliased ONLY the Ultrabeat samples folder from my Samples Drive back to the default location and this all seems to be ok.
I have a few of my own kits and exs instruments and for these I put the instruments in my user Libray, so
~/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments
and the actual samples on my Samples drive.
And it all works a treat and is very very fast indeed. Bee Jay suggested extracting the instruments and samples directly from the DVD's using Pacifist, which I will do in the future. I let Logic do a default install so that I could see what folders were made and their locations.
All in all it was fairly painless and now I have my content split.

HT2497 how should i configure time capsule with time warner arris as separate networks?

i have been using the time capsule 4th generation with my home network but my connectivity seems to sometimes disconnect atleast with my macbook pro i always seem to be having to go place my cursor on the wifi logo to keep it consistent? i could jsut try and continue but really want a simple fast direction in what to do and how to configure this so that i only have access to my time capsule and network while my family may have access to the arris time warner cable network... ive heard of bridging and have had it so that my router be a bridge. whats the benefit and actual meaning of bridging in lame terms? i understand that bridging means it just runs internet through that device... so that device isnt setting any ip adresses? anywho ive messed around with the twcale internet site a bit hope i havent messed up too much. when i called time warner cable today they said they could only assist me with the arris side and not advise me with time capsule config... now i want to call apple but it seems i have to pay to call them? wow. and i bought the time capsule and best buy and was on hold for 10 minutes while being hung up rght when i seemed to be about to be helped. oh joys. anywho... help please?

We recently switched back to TWC here in the valley, att was horrible. We get 22.6 download and 2.24 uploads usually, however...we too have been having issues with the internet becoming sluggish throughout the day, not just at peak usage times. We have 2 computer plugged in directly and 3 others wireless but not on at the same time all the time.
I haven't gone into the Arris this time around, but am thinking there are settings that are screwed up. We have been using the Time Capsule's wireless connection and it is terribly slow. I'm not sure if there is a problem with the settings there or what.

How do I configure FireFox to send e-mail (with Live Mail)?

I try to send a link through e-mail. I only manage to get Firefox to open Live mail, no e-mail message opened, no link added.
This used to work under XP, now I use Windows7 Professional with the latest Firefox version

Can you check whether your Norton browser add-ons are enabled on the Add-ons page? Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
The disabled extensions cluster toward the bottom on a gray background. If they are down there, try to enable them.
If they won't enable, try using Norton LiveUpdate a few times to make sure you have the latest versions. You probably need to close Firefox and start it up again after the LiveUpdate in order for Firefox to detect the new files.

How should I configure my Xserve?

We're adding an Xserve that will serve files off an Xserve RAID. I'm not sure how far I need to pimp the system, though.
Is 2GB RAM enough? Since all the big file storage will on the RAID do I need more than one 80GB SATA drive?

That's only possible, if the drives do not contain the operating system.
Unless the Intel Xserves are very different than the G5 versions re-installing is not necessary.
To create a mirrored RAID from an existing system disk:
1) Boot from DVD (external etc.)
2) Using diskutil from the command line make the existing disk part of a new mirrored RAID.
3) Reboot - use Disk Utility to add the second disk to the RAID. (You can do this from the command line before rebooting if you're comfortable with CLI.)
4) Let the disk "rebuild".
This process is out-lined in several thread posts... did you try it and it didn't work on the Intel Xserves? I know the Intel models add disk functionality - hopefully they didn't take this away.

How do I configure smtp to send email

Just bought mt iPad and trying to set up my mailbox.
Sending emails is all good.
But I am struggling to set up my outgoing mail.
My smtp server is mail.mydomain.com
My user name is [email protected]
When I set up the outgoing mail I set mail.mydomain.com as my domain and my user name as [email protected]
When but the iPad tries to authenticate with a user name of [email protected]@mail.mydomain.com
When I set the domain as mydomain.com and my user name as Ian.wermerling then it can not authenticate because I believe it is not authenticating against the actual smtp server.
Any suggestions?

How do I configure a dynamic table with Data-Drop Down selections to store separate values?

I am attempting to use LiveCycle to create an Order Form that uses an ODBC to a SQL database. When a user makes a selection, a separate column in the table references the "Item #" associated in the SQL table, and generates a corresponding barcode.
My problem is that when I select an Item from the drop down list, all the items in the table change. What am I missing here to separate the rows as different line items? I tried adding a [*] to the end of the connection string, and that allows me to select different options but does not generate the "Item #" or "Barcode" field.
The screenshot below shows the basic form. When I select any of the data drop downs, all of the Items change.
I used the auto generated script for the "Add Row +" button shown below. Is this my issue? Or do I need to alter the way I'm setting up the Data Binding in for my Data Drop Down?

Do we not send Purchase order acknowledgement IDoc for order cancellation?

Is there a way to NOT send a Purchase order acknowledgement IDoc (POA) when we process an IDoc to cancel the order (or cancel all items)? The system now sends POA whenever there is a order create or order change (including cancellation) IDoc coming in but my customer wants not to receive POA in case of order cancellation.

How Do I Configure A WRT54G to Work With A Cisco 2800 Router

I'm helping my dad set up a new network. He has a Cisco 2800 series router that connects to the internet via two T1 lines. From this connection, he supplies internet service to his customers. The router was installed and configured with help from AT&T who monitors the router and advises my dad if there are problems.
The Cisco 2800 is not my reason for posting.
He wants to connect his home computers to the 2800. He has one desktop and two wireless laptops and wants to use a WRT54G to connect those computers to the 2800 router. How should he configure the WRT54G to connect to the 2800?

That's what I thought. So it is really no different than connecting the WRT to a DSL modem or cable modem as far as the setup goes. Good then.
Now, next question;
Would this network setup be correct?
Connect a 5-port switch to the 2800
Connect the WRT54G to the 5-port switch.
Configure the laptops to connect throught the WRT54G.
Connect the desktop (Ubuntu 9.10) to the 5-port switch via Ethernet cable (bypass the WRT54G).
Would there be IP conflicts or domain problems? I ask this because this is how his LAN is presently setup and he seems to be getting random connectivity problems on his Ubuntu desktop machine. One day it works fine. The next day it won't connect. Sometimes, even after he is connected, it stop works midstream. It also takes 10 minutes or so to boot up. The laptops always work without issue.
The two laptops would be issued IP addresses of 192.168.1.xxx but the desktop would be getting 12.83.xxxx.xx(something similar). The desktop's internet IP would receive its internet IP from the 2800 via DHCP just like the WRT54G is receiving its IP from the 2800. The two would essentially be on different LANs connected to the same router. Do you forsee any issues here?

If the user has registered the unit so usually the service partner should be able to check the purchase date.

How best to configure a WRT54GS connected to a BEFSR81 connected to cable modem?

I know it is old gear, but it's all I have. I have an office in my home. I have a wired router (BEFSR81) which is connected to my cable modem and has seven wired connections to it: four computers, two printers and a wireless router (WRT54GS). The wired router performs DHCP service for the network: four computers (at 192.168.1 100-103). The printers are at static addresses outside the DHCP range (192.168.1.150 and 155). I want the wireless router to accept wireless connections from friends who stop by (or if I decide to go out on the porch with my laptop).
How should I configure the wireless router so that it allows wireless entities (laptops, Roku, etc.) to connect to my network. What IP address should it have off my wired router, and will my wired router's DHCP provide IP addresses to devices attaching to the network through the wireless router? For the convenience of cabling, I would prefer to have my wired router as the primary router if possible.

Oh, I've also updated my OS several times. I know there are some ways, but if you have updated you can't do those tricks anymore.

I just did a Get Info on my user home folder (the home folder in Users on the hard drive). The creation date for that folder is shown as March 19 2011, which is dead on - that's when I first booted the Mac and created the account.
That folder was initially created in OS X 10.6.3, which was updated to OS X 10.6.8, then cloned, then updated to 10.7, cloned again, updated to 10.7.1, cloned again, and finally updated to 10.7.2. Yet the folder has retained its original creation date (which is to be expected).
Unless you have wiped accounts along the way, or done a total re-install of the OS at some time, the creation date for that user folder should get you very close. Factoring in the shipping time should get you to the actual purchase date.
In my case I still have the original shipping box; the FedEx label shows a shipping date of Mar 15 2011, which agrees with my recollection of shipping transit time.

Can someone please tell me how my firewall should be configured. I had downloaded some free fonts and some free software for mac from various websites. Since then I have had several problems. The problem is now whenever I go to browse on any of my three web browsers safari, firefox and chrome several different windows start opening up to download Mac Keeper etc.or video player and far more. I have just purchased from the the Apple store a mac secure anti virus and it is scanning my computer but in the meant time what else can I do to protect myself from an infiltration of web software ads that are plaguing me. I have also gone into preferences in my browser to block pop ups, to not track me etc. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Veronika

Exactly which sites? If it was Download.com or softonic, they quite often wrap the free software in adware and you'll wind up with ****ware. Never download anything from those sites; instead, either download from the app store or the developer's site directly - practice safe computing.
In order to remove MacKeeper, use their uninstaller. To get rid of adware, either remove by downloading this:

And, your AV software will most likely not be able to identify adware.

No, you do not need to touch ME_PRINT_PO. You need to put code before and after ME_PRINT_PO in the print program.
Step 1 - Copy the standard print program SAPFM06P to make a Z version, lets call it ZSAPFM06P
Step 2 - Copy include FM06PE02 to make a Z version, lets call that ZFM06PE02.
Step 3 - ZSAPFM06P change the statement "Include FM06PE02" to read "Include ZFM06PE02".
Step 4 - In include ZFM06PE02 you will find a subroutine called "ENTRY_NEU". In this subroutine you will see it first calls ME_READ_PO_FOR_PRINTING then calls ME_PRINT_PO. Before it calls ME_PRINT_PO just put:
l_nast-nacha = 1.
CLEAR l_nast-dimme.
This means that ME_PRINT_PO will not e-mail, it will create a spool request.
Step 5 - Still in ZFM06PE02, after ME_PRINT_PO has been called, add new code. First check that ent_retco EQ 0. If it does not then exit.
Step 6 - Get the spool ID created by ME_PRINT_PO by either moving sy-msgv1 to a variable or select from NAST.
Step 7 - Call function CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF using the spool ID from step 6, and put the result from table PDF into an internal table you can use later. ALso store the export variable pdf_bytecount, you will need it later.
Step 8 - Call function SX_TABLE_LINE_WIDTH_CHANGE using the table from step 7 as content_in and put the results from content_out into a new internal table.
Step 9 - Add some text into a internal table of type solisti1, this will be the body text of the e-mail.
Step 10 - Add whatever receivers you want into an internal table of type somlreci1. If you just want it to go to the address that the PO would have gone to anyway, select the e-mail address from ADR6 where the address number = l_doc-xekko-adrnr, that is the data from the PO.
Step 11 - Populate an internal table of type sopcklsti1 with data relevant to your PDF table from step 8 and the text table from step 9. You will have to put the size of the PDF from step 7 (pdf_bytecount) on the PDF line and the size of the text will be the number of lines of text * 255.
Step 12 - Add info to a structure of type sodocchgi1. You can add the e-mail title in here, field obj_descr. Also add the size of the PDF and the size of the text from step 12 into doc_size, and give the doc a name in field obj_name. This can be anything, ZPDFPO for example.
Step 13 - Call SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 using the tables from steps 8, 9, 10 and 11 and the structure from step 12. You can amend the sending e-mail also. Set commit_work to space.
Step 14 - That is all you need, but I actually call function RSPO_R_RDELETE_SPOOLREQ to delete the spool request created in step 4, then call NAST_PROTOCOL_UPDATE to add some more messages to the processing log of the PO.
That is all.
