using actionscript..
if i have a movie clip in my Scene 1 and inside that movie clip is another symbol e.g. a button, how will i reference the instance name of that button in my Scene 1. tnx!

Use the dot operator. Say for example you have a movieclip with instance name mysymbol and it has a child symbol button with name childsymbol then you use mysymbol.childsymbol on the main timeline. Try also to trace the symbols to see if they exist like trace(mysymbol) or trace(mysymbol.childsymbol)

i tried this method
Restart the computer. Then, your computer will roll back to Windows Vista.
Click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
Under System variables, click New.
Type MIG_UPGRADE_IGNORE_PLUGINS in the Variable name field.
Type IphlpsvcMigPlugin.dll in the Variable value field.
Click OK three times to close the dialog boxes.
Start the upgrade installation again.

Reinstall iPhoto.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. you may not have the appropriate permissions, this erroe message i get every time i try to access iTunes, I need help.

I have been having this problem for few weeks I tried to unistall it and reinstall it still didn't work I also tried to delet the shortcut by draging it to Recyle bin and find the iTunes through the c drive and send the icon or even open it from there still didn't work so I really need help here.

Is there a way to get the instance name of a move clip once it's on the stage? In my dress up game, I need to know which items are on the doll in order to keep them visible. My drag and drop feature uses an array and currentTarget:

It can successfully run this code. However, instead of tracing "It's on the doll!", I'd like to turn the currentTarget into it's instance name, which should be "Doll.Drawers.Dress1" etc... and then store that name in an array.
How would I do this?

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone restarts. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. See if better. If not, Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if better. If not you may need to replace the LCD Display or the iPhone may be beyond repair and you need a new phone.
