I want to work with ABAP proxies.How to active ABAP proxy in SAP system.What the configuration is needed.Is there any configuration is need in XI system to work with ABAP proxies.Please help me..

Hi Kishan,
You have to check whether ur r/3 system's(WAS 620 or above) excahnge profile has entries for integration builder.
Pls check the Example configuration for accessing
interfaces in the Integration Repository (exchange profile):

If the Parameters are not there u need to add in the respective section's as provided in the link.

I have a question on the release of XI Add-on we need to install on the Business system side for activating ABAP Proxy. We are using XI 3.0 system and want to activate the ABAP Proxy between XI 3.0 system and the R3E system running on WAS 620 SP 45.
I read an excellent SDN Blog from Vijaya Kumari on how to activate the ABAP Proxy. It lists XI Add-on installation on the business system. The XI Add-on (SAPK-20006INAPPINT SP06) is what the XI 3.0 configuration guide refers to in OSS note 439915. Is there a newer XI Add-on to go with XI 3.0 system?

SAPK-20006INAPPINT(SP06) is the latest XI add-on (APPINT 200_620) available. Since your WAS 620 is on (SP45) and the prerequisite for SAPK-20006INAPPINT(SP06) is SAPKB62043, your system looks ready. But of course, refer to the mentioned Note - 439915.

I'm not sure if this is the right question. Any Web AS 6.20 system will require the XI-add on to communicate to XI (2.0 or 3.0) - specifically regarding proxies. WebAS 6.40 systems do not require the add-on.

There is a specific program for that: RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE. It will also re-activate the related DTPs.
Please check the following SAP Notes:
#1408161 - Program for transformation activation.
#1471117 - SP25:RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE skips if M version has OBJSTAT 'INA'.

How to call abap proxy at run time?

hello frnds,
i m working on a scenario in which whenever Invoice is saved in SAP R/3 at that time same data should go to Oracle DB. i m using ABAP proxy on SAP R/3 side and JDBC receicver adapter on oracle side of XI.
so to post data i need to call ABAP Proxy whenever invoice is saved.. i have tried to find out save event for invoice but not able to get... can anybody tell me the solution that how i can call proxy at run time?

I have successfully installed EHP1 composition enviornment from SDN , now i m able to work on
NWDS for JAVA and Enterprise portal . it contains java application server .
but in order to get data from ABAP Backend system from NWDS(JAVA) , I don't have ABAP Backend sysytem , how to install abap backend system with abap application server in my system ????
there is one link to install Netwaever ABAP 7.1 trial version( webdynpro abap and abap application server ) in sdn but in system requirement it clearly mentioned that " make sure that there is no SAP sysytem installed in ur system " .
I need webdynpro java ,webdynpro abap and enterprise portal together but i have only webdynpro java and EP , so how to install abap as a backend system in my EHP1 ?
or any other download link which contain all three ??
please help me ?

Hi,
CE is indeed not double stack. However, it is possible to install both an ABAP and a CE on the same host provided they have different system ids and instance numbers. This works for the current SDN download versions: CE 7.1 and CE 7.1.1 (system id CE1, system number 00) and AS ABAP 7.01 (system id NSP, system number 02).
Needless to say, it is perfectly possible to configure and establish all kinds of connections between the two:
JCo/RFC calls in both directions
Web Service calls in both directions
AS ABAP as a portal backend
publishing system information in SLD
accessing an ESR
accessing a Service Registry (publish + query)
using AS ABAP as user database for the CE
Single Sign-On

Go to transaction SBWP and Click Distribution list and choose the list where you can find one check box send express. you just deselect the check box and save it. After that you will not receive any express note . but you will get messge to your inbox.

In any SAP System,if a user having authorizations has mistakingly locked all the users of the SAP system,then how wll we unlock those users bcoz we wont be able to logon into the SAP System. If all the users are locked , they can only be unlocked via sql.
Actually waht happens is if the uflag field of an user in table usr02 is 0 then the user is unlocked. Different values of the uflag field in table USR02 mean:
0          User not locked
32         Locked by CUA central administrator
64         Locked by administrator
128       Locked after failed logon
Incase all the users are locked execute the following sql to unlock them
update sap<sid>.usr02   (means update sapd01.usr02 or sapq01.usr02 etc)
set uflag='0' ;
commit.;
This unlocks all the users.
update sap<sid>.usr02
set uflag='0' where bname='xxx';
commit.;
This unlocksonly the user xxx.

Hi Amar,
Use the FM IDOC_WRITE_AND_START_INBOUND to post an inbound IDoc. Just build the EDIDD and *EDIDC8 tables and enter a profile for a inbound message type from a partner. It returns a IDoc number. Don't forget to do commit work.

How to insert ABAP PROXY in customized ABAP program

Hello experts,
I am a ABAP developer and I am developing a program to send XML strings to a legacy system using an ABAP PROXY but I have run into a roadblock as follows:
My PI colleagues who know PI but not ABAP have created a ABAP PROXY data type with the structure that I need to be populated from my program but cannot tell me how to get the data into this structure. They have directed me to SERVICE INTERFACES where there is a class and method EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS but this is where we all have a road block. I am not sure whether I have to just use this class and method in my program to populate the data type proxy previously created or whether a completely new proxy has to be created under service interfaces.
Any help would be appreciated.

I thought you are using 7.0 ... sorry for the confusion.
Here are the steps that you can follow for proxy generation for SAP PI 7.1:-
TCode - SPROXY
1. The interface objects are ordered according to software component version, namespace and object type.
If no connection to the Integration Repository exists, the system only displays interface objects in the tree structure for which a proxy exists in the system.
2. Choose an interface object for which no proxy already exists. To create a proxy for this interface object, double click the context menu Create Proxy.
3. In the dialog box, specify the name of the package where you want to create the proxy objects. You can also specify a prefix for the names of all objects to be created to avoid naming conflicts with names that already exist in the system.
Result
To generate proxies, the WSDL description of the message interface is read using HTTP.
If no naming conflicts occur during the conversion, you can call the hierarchy of the generated objects from the tab page "Structure". The objects are only then saved in the system once you choose Activate.
If the description is changed in the Integration Repository, you must regenerate the proxy objects

ABAP Proxy on XI System itself?

Hi all!
I was wondering whether it is possible to use an ABAP Inbound Proxy that is located on the XI system itself (e.g. for getting some additional data out of the SAP database as you would do via RFC function modules)?
How does the XI react if it gets an SOAP Message for calling an inbound proxy when its own Integration Engine is customized as a "central" one? Doesn't it try to route this message trough its integration engine instead of passing it to the proxy object then?
Has anyone tried this out yet ...?

Hi,
As suggested, u need to create a client copy. (check the Configuration guide to know the step-by-step procedure for setting up the client copy). This client system will be registered as a Applicaiton system in the SLD. So when you configure ur scenario, in receiver determination, u will refer to the client system. say SYSTEM_20) and the messag will be routed to SYSTEM_20 and the ABAP server proxy will get executed).
U can refer to the weblog to "Communication between SAP System & Webservice Using Proxies"

The sound effects make me crazy, how can you turn them off? I did not find any information in the help of sap.
Anyway, does anyone not turn off these crazy sound effects ?! How can you work concentrated with them?

Ok, i am within local layout, then options. The first tab contains "messages" with the options:
beep at message
dialog windows at success message
and two more.
None of these is activated. So I wonder why I get the sounds nevertheless each time i make a click within the mini SAP system ?!
And I do not find any other sound options anywhere at the "local layout" configuration...
