From your description, you want to use expression to display or hide the textbox border on the column base on it's scope, right? In Reporting Services, the color of the textbox border is support expression, however we cannot use the expression to display
or hide the textbox border dynamically. So I am afraid your requirement cannot be done.

A partial solution:
-- Select a border color, as suggested.
-- Pull down Format/Border, and deselect
the "top" and "bottom" buttons.
This will get you vertical lines around all
cells with data, but not cells with null
values. Also (it's been a while since I
looked at this in detail) this works nicely
from the live previewer but doesn't work in
all output formats - not HTML for instance,
if I recall correctly. Depends on which
type of output you need.
If you have a lot of null cells, i.e. with
no border, the lines is your best option.
Done neatly it looks about the same.

Sir i'm using daq6251.But Sir before implimenting it to my final application now i'm just trying to achieve 1millisecond time interval for timer in a vary simple programe i mean at this time no hardware (daq device) is involved i,m just trying to achieve minimum time interval of 1millisecond.
Sir i read form "help" of labwindows how this time interval can be set,i'm trying for,as described in help notes but i could'nt.I'm attaching a screen shot sir for you it may helpful for you to explain me.
And sir also waiting for your kind reply regarding word report generation.

With the class StyleConstants I can modify the paragraph attributes, character constants, font constants, ... But, howcan I add border at some words in a JTextPane?

The simplest way is to add your own custom attibute to character element of your document (by setCharacterAttributes()) method. And override LabelView. In the paint method of the LabelView just check whether parent element's attributes contains the attribute.

How to add a graphic watermark that is bigger than the photo?
     Basically I want to add a watermark that is a border, like "outside stroke" so that it doesn't clip the photo.
     Upper, left and right side are 10px and on the bottom is my signature that is 40px high. I know how to do this in Photoshop, but can't figgure it out in Lightroom.
     The inset function with negative numbers doesn't work, because it only export to the size of the exported image, instead it should resize the image with those 10px up, left and right and 40px on      the bottom.
My bordes look like this either one of the two can be used, and if you scroll down you will se how the end result should look like.
And below is what it should look like, so that Lightroom doesn't clip the photo.

How to add Panel in JScrollPane? URGENT!

I need to add a Panel in JScrollPane
I have try to add JPanel into JScrollPane, but apparently, the JPanel did not show up at all in the JScrollPane (all i see is the border of JScrollPane)
Then I switch my JPanel to Panel (awt) and it does appear on the JScrollPane, but scrollbars are not visible even i have set the size of the panel is larger than the JScrollPane. (and i also set the VERTICAL_SCROLLBARS_ALWAYS) I can scroll with my mousewhieel, but the panel can scroll out of place(ie outside of the Jscrollpane)
Can someone teach me how to add a Panel or JPanel to a JScrollPane Please~ Thanks!!!

You would do something like this

But how can I put it on and off then? You could use some javascript to do it or use the region id and then get the second table in the region body with that class name, there are a couple different ways to do it but none are simple and out of the box.
If you can out an example page on apex.oracle.com it will be much easier to help you out with the exact code.
It will be much simpler to do in 3.1 which is why that enhancment was put in.

SImple way to add border?

Hi All,
I am trying out a version of fireworks 8 on my new laptop ,
coming from using fireworks 4 on my desktop. My question is how can
I add a simple 1px solid colour border to my images. I could do
this quite simply in fw 4 but I can't seem to get beyond some
horrendous textures and patterns in fw8......don't even seem to be
able to select / point to the border in order to change its
properties. Think I'd better stick to my old faithful if I can't
get this licked.
If anyone knows a v. quick method to do this that would be
great (have got a milltion images to resize and add border to
asap!!

Try this:
Duplicate the background layer, and convert this layer to black/white (ALT+CTRL+B)
Select the young lady's face, and place this on a separate layer (CTRL+J)
Open a Brightness/contrast layer at the top and group the top 2 layers (CTRL+G). Work the brightness and contrast sliders so that the 2 gray scale layers match as much as possible
Keep the face layer, but delete the duplicated grayscale layer below
Change the blending mode of the face layer to luminosity
With the eyedropper tool, sample color from the original skin
Open a blank layer at the top, and change blending mode to color
Paint over the face to match colors. Touch up additional spots as needed, e.g.hand
Add a levels adjustment layer and work the sliders below the histogram to best advantage
Sharpen slightly

     I made a custom button "skin" because I want my buttons to be images with NO box or border around it and it works great, but I don't know how to add the button functionality. ex. How do I add a border to my pages?
In the templates that are available to use with Pages there is one that is titled "Johnson Newsletter." I would like to know how to make the border that is around the red section as well as how to get the border that surrounds that first page of the newsletter.
I know how to add the picture frame that is available by going to Graphics and then Stroke. But, I can't find any other style options.

The border around the red box is created by using a white dashed line.
You can see the construction in:
+Inspector > Objects (the square-circle icon) > Stroke > Line+
The double rule surrounding the page is 2 boxes nested inside each other the inside one having a lighter shade.
You can't edit it because it is locked, to unlock it and see how it works:
+Menu > Arange > Unlock+ then go to +Inspector > Objects > Stroke > Line+ again.
To get the neat parallel effect, create the outer box and copy and paste it over itself, then shrink the dimensions on all sides equally and change its color.
Another way to get parallel lines is to make 2 equal size boxes on top of each other, with the bottom one having a much thicker rule and the top one having a white or different colored rule but no fill color. The top box will cover up the middle of the bottom box's rule making it look like a parallel line. You can make more boxes stacked on top of each other to create more parallel effects and experiment with different styles of rules, dashed, dotted etc.
