How to add column access BADI to appraisal template.

I am not able to see option to add column access BADI in template at Processing tab--> Further template behaviour.
Kinldy let me know how to add it.
I am able to see only following options
BC         Business Check
D1         Default Appraiser
D2         Default Appraisee
DE         Default Execution Period
DN         Default Appraisal Document Name
DP         Default Part Appraiser
DR         Default Review Date
DV         Default Validity Period
HA         Header Data Change
PM         Maximum Number of Part Appraisers

Based on the Role and Status of the appraisal form, turn the Column On/Off/Hide..
sample code...

Hi All;
The column access BADI: HRHAP_COL_ACCESS, I know can be used to control when the appraisal documnt can be displayed, locked etc. based on the status and sub status. For example you may want to lock the document and prevent access via ESS and MSS once the document hits a particular status.
My question: Can this BADI be used to control which columns within the document can be viewed by whom or is the BADI to conrol the display of the entire document iself ( and ot just parts).
For example if we have a column defined as "Manager's Assessment'" within the appraisal document, can we prevent the employee from viewing the column until it is in a paricular status and sub status.
In my opinion those type of requirements should be controlled via the config and not the BADI. The BADI itself should be used to control the document itself. Please let me know if this is correct.

Given below is an excerpt from SAP documentation:
<i>The column access specified for the Part Appraisal (PAPP) and Final Appraisal (FAPP) columns is possible for appraisals with the following statuses:
In Process
Completed
Approved
Rejected
</i>
My understanding as per this is that 'column hiding' is possible by configuration, but not for all the statuses and sub-statuses.
These settings can be done in tcode OOAM, in tab named 'Column Access' at the template level.

You cannot add columns dynamically. But you can define a maximum number of numbers and then hide unused columns in your form useing SET_ITEM_PROPERTY(..,VISIBLE, PROPERTY_FALSE);

How to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g

Can anybody please help me to understand how to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g and how to map the Form fields with the Data Elelment.
I tried it with 10 g set up as well, but I found following things
1) PDF form template mapping was only available whenever we provide sample data with the same filed name and also number of fileld should be same.
2) According to user manual that I have, it says that whenever I click on the form field while mapping the form field data elements, it should open a new window having the corresponding mapping details.
But in my case no new window was opened when I clicked on the form field while mapping.
Please help me out since i am beginner with BIP and have to move forward with Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g.

I am new to BIP-11g. But i have created rtf, pdf templates in 10g. I am migrating reports to 11g. If you know How to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g , Please let me know.
In 10 g you need to do the following things
1. First you need to create data template.
2. Then you have to upload pdf template.
3. After you have uploaded the pdf template, Map Form Fields tab will appear. Then you can map the form fields.

Have made a report for HR - ZHR_CTC by using logical database and field-symbol. Report is working fine, but now have to add columns e.g business area text, positions text etc.
Have added columns in field-symbol.But not able to fetch data into that.
Data has to be fetched from different trasparent table comparing <field-symbol>-field.
Plz suggest the proper way to do it.

How do i add column to this view.
It seems that this view is based on AK Region POS_PO_LINES_D and this region is based on a view POS_PO_LINES_V.

The only difference is if added column has default value. In that case:

How to add column to report from the same table? Gives error now

Steps to reproduce:
Build a report on a table with easy report, select all columns
Add column to the table
Edit report and add column (one has to click Show Related Tables Only: No to view the same table!)
Report will give error as it will be build as
SELECT ... FROM table1, table1

AH HAAA!!!!
And I was afraid to convert from the "SQL (Structured Query)" to "SQL". Probably because I blew up my other reports...

Revert your logic and remove or do not display columns if the corresponding parameter is missing or does not have the expected value(s).
Using ALV lists you would accomplish this using the following coding:
IF ( <parameter is missing or has not expected value> ).
ls_fcat-tech = 'X'.
MODIFY gt_fcat FROM ls_fcat
TRANSPORTING tech
WHERE ( fieldname = <column> ).
ENDIF.
The column for which this attribute is set in the fieldcatalog will appear neither in the ALV list nor in the layout.
Now for a classical report (WRITE report ?!) you should develop a similar logic. You have to encapsulate the displaying or writing for each column and make this dependent from the parameter, e.g.:
LOOP AT gt_data INTO ls_data.
IF ( <parameter is missing or has not expected value> ).
" do nothing -> skip this column
ELSE.
PERFORM write_column USING ...
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
