How to assign multiple categories to a webapp item that is populated from a frontend form?

We have a webpage with a form that allow users to populate a webapp, but we also need that the user can assign multiple categories to the webapp item that is going to insert.
The support forum told us that it is not possible to assign categories from the frontend, but only from the admin area.
Is there any workaround to this issue? We do not want the users to access to the admin area because we need them to populate the webapp only from the web form.

I am trying to get my page to list webapp items that are part of a few categories. I understand that if i want to view only one category, I just need to do the normal process of choosing that category and placing it out. So my question is: How do I display multiple categories of items in a webapp in a single page. I've tried this

This only displays the everything from the first category, then everything from the next, which will not make it in order of date.

How can I go about doing it?

I am looking to allow users to input a webapp item and allow them to select a category to tie to that item.

You can loop the internal table like
loop at <table xxxx> where field1 = ' xxx' or field1 = 'yyy'
or you can write two read statements to read the internal table in wrk area.
read table <table xxxx> with key field1 = ' xxx'.
if sy-subrc <>0
read table <table xxxx> with key field1 = 'yyy'.
if sy-subrc = 0
endif.
else.
do your data processing.

Trying to assign multiple category sets to an item

Trying to assign multiple category sets to an item-- i created a new category set and went to set it as the default set for Order Management. Receiving this error:
category set is defined with Multiple Category Assignment flag set to yes. Order Managment functional area can be assigned only category sets having Multiple Category Assignment flag set to No.
Is this a setting that I can change??

If the item is in transit, I'm not certain there is a way that you can do this. It will be delivered to the person at address that is on the postage label. If there is Signature Confirmation selected on the parcel, it might be held somewhere until you pick it up, though. Since you are registered to ebay in Australia, it might be best if you contact Australia Post with this question. We can only answer with our experience in dealing with Canada Post and the couriers here. And do be sure to update your addresses with both ebay and paypal to prevent this from happening in future. Well the exact process would be as I mentioned in my previous post.
1. Create the BOM for an item
2. Choose this item in the Production Order
3. Then in this Production order you can change/ delete/ add whichever item you want .
OR
If all the child items are completely different from the original BOM then you can use the Special Type BOM in which you can always create the BOM while creating the Production Order itself. There is no standard BOM here.

Portal 904 : Assigning Multiple Categories to an Item

The requirement is :
For a File that I am uploading, I should be able to assign it multiple categories (say the file is a test script for Oracle Financials, GL module and it's for phase II). So I have qualified this file as Belonging to
Suite: Oracle Financials
Module: GL
Phase: II
Type: TestScript
Since Portal only allows one category per item, how else can I implement this functionality? Eventually I want to be able to search by each of these categories and their combination.

This is definitely one way of doing this and I was aware of it. The only reservation I had was that this will result in large number of perspectives and the real "perspectives" (like Tech.Consultant, Functional Consultant, Project Manager) will be kind of hard to find.
Another way to do this is to create the top level Categories and expose sub categories as Custom Attributes and create LOVs to display the sub-categories.
This will allow the user the ability to choose one real category (top level) in the category field and then he/she may choose the cross-reference info. from custom attributes.
The problem is, I cannot find a way to display a list of Attributes (as clickable links) so that the user can click on say GL and see all documents that have this attribute (Apps Module) selected.
So, what I want is the ability to display in a page region, a list of my custom attributes and when the user clicks on an attribute, the documents that have been assigned that attribute should be listed.
Is is possible and is this the right way to do this?

Then you will have to create a when-validate-item trigger with a cursor based on your selection of your LOV . Loop through that cursor assigning the next in the next record by using the built-in function next_record. (put you selection for you value in a hidden item for example.

How difficult would it be to write a code that prevents sites from changing your homepage wtihout u knowing it happened?

Today I had the unhappy experience of a company or site I visited that installed three programs I didn't want. I uninstalled all of them in windows control panel (]remove programs). This however did not solve my problem.....no matter what I did I could not get startpage to come back. I did many things like go to tools and options and type it in close out and open and it was still not there. Finally my grandson uininstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and it was back.
My question is: Can you not write a code in the software that prevents this from happening and when people install Firefox ask them if they want this feature or write an ad on. Please this problem grows every day it gets worse. Before all you had to do is change it back now one can not get rid if it so easily.
We really would love this feature ask anyone.

Have you copied them from your old computer via one of the methods described on the page that you posted from ? Your music will only show on your new computer's iTunes library if you put it onto it, so you will either need to copy it from your old computer, from your backup of your library and add it via File > Add To Library, or (depending upon whether you are in a country where you can re-download music and if the music is still in the store) you might be able to re-download your purchases via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your new computer.
