How to avail iphone4s 1-year warranty if your country don't accept this services on Apple stores?

Hi, I lived in the Philippines. I bought my factory unlocked Iphone4s last April 2012 in one of the retail stores here. A while ago, i got a problem on my iphone. there was a -1 error whenever i restore my iphone. Now, it is just on the recovery mode and wasn't able to access in anyway i do.
I want to send my Iphone to Apple store and repair it. All apple repair center here in the Philippines do not accept Iphones that do not came from Smart/Globe(network carrier). Do I need to send my iphone to the nearest neighbor country like Singpore or Hong Kong just to repair my iphone?
Also, do i have to pay for the repair?
Hope to hear from anyone.
Thanks

It sounds like you purchased a gray market phone. iPhones can only be serviced in the country of origin.
Globe and SMART are the two authorized carriers in the Phillipines. If you got the phone from one of them, you need to take it to them for service. If you got it elsewhere, you need to determine where it came from and either take it there in person or send it to someone you know there to take it in for service.
The warranty is not international.

If you don't know the sender, then it is most likely a scam or spam email. I get them every day - I just delete them. I also get daily notices from Facebook or someone called Adriana at Facebook even though i do not have an account there. Can't do anything about it - just delete it.

  • I have a 2 year old iphone4 that got ran over by a car and although the outside screen isn't broken it is inside somehow, is it true I can take this into an apple store and get a discount when I buy a new one? Thanks

You can exchange for an out of warranty exchange iPhone 4 at a price of $149 in US
you get an as new iPhone 4 and the Apple genius bar take your "bits"
Apple are about to offer a trade in programme in the US but I believe the donor iPhone must be in full working order to qualify

Well, this "third party" is going to put my old hdd back and not charge me any money (as he did not fix it) but i think its better off taking it to an AASP because i have a feeling Apple store will charge way too much.
The way I read that comment – you seem to suggest the Mac was broken before the third party replaced the disk - is that the case or was it working before the HD was replaced?
Since the Mac is out of warranty you will have to pay for any repairs wherever you take it. Authorised Apple service centres will be able to get parts whereas any non certified technicians will have to use 'grey market' parts since Apple will not sell parts to the public. These may be reconditioned or not official parts - it's a risk to use them. Visit the Apple store & ask them - there is no point in lying about it being handled by a third party. An Apple tech may be able to tell when they open the case, depending on how meticulous your third party was.
If you are handy with a screwdriver & have tools and a lot of patience you could use a guide on iFixit.com, but there is no indication of why this Mac not booting up.
It could be that the disk is not formatted correctly.
Are you sure the tech copied an OS onto the disk? Did they install the OS for you or did they clone the old disk?
Can you boot from a backup disk or from an install disk? Does the disk appear in Disk Utility when booted from another OS (either the installer or a backup).
'Not booting' can mean so many things, what does booting do exactly? Grey screen, black screen, any noises or tones, any signs of life at all…?
If you look at the iFixit guides you will see many fiddly connectors, if the tech failed to hook them all back up it could explain the failure, or perhaps you just have a disk that is 'dead on arrival' - sometimes that happens. A properly trained technician should be able to figure that one out.

  • How can I use my ipad in a hotel that only has ethernet connections.    The apple store clerk told me that I can't use airport express unless I also have a computer with me in the hotel.

How can I use my Ipad in a hotel that only has ethernet connections?  The Apple store clerk told me that travel express won't work in my hotel unless I also have a computer.

The issue with the Airport Express (or any of the Apple routers) is that you need the Airport Utility to configure it.  Airport Utility works on OSX and Windows, but not on the iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch.)  It will work, if you can preconfigure the Airport correctly ahead of time, but you'd be stuck if you did need to reconfigure while at the hotel.
You can use most any other router that is configured with a web page, which means you have a chance of configuring with Safari on the iPad.  If you want something somewhat portable, I use a "travel router" made by D-Link. The current model is the DAP-1350.  Other companies make similar travel routers, but I have no experience with the others.

  • How do I get my Mac to recognize external drive filled with 5 projects, created at Apple Store?

How do I get my Mac to recognize external drive filled with 5 projects, created at Apple Store? I created 6 hrs worth of projects on computer in apple store with my external. came home my computer did not recognize it at all. went back to apple, they said oh click the news reel bottom left that will do it, came back home and nope....not recognizing it, in fact it says no events exist on this disc. I want to get the 5 projects and put up on vimeo tonight. ugh.

    Hi Tom,
I'm so impressed with how you help everyone solve their problems. I will do my best here, but my husband will be home soon and knows how this large external is formatted.
How late do you all work there? I'm on east coast. Is the screen shot you wanted? I opened up external and
    this is what I see.
Drive is connected to usb in back of computer. N

  • How much does it cost to get my iPod Touch 3g's batteries replaced at the Apple Store?

I think my iPod Touch's batteries are dead. No matter what I do it doesnt turn on. I plugged it back to my computer and iTunes can't even detect it. So the most logical explanation is MY IPOD IS DEAD! I have had it for almost 2 years now and I didn't buy the expanded warrenty...
Please tell me how much it cost.. and don't say, "Get the iPod Touch 4!" I'm perfectly fine with the 3rd gen..
    Thanks in advance.

Battery replacement, if that's all that's wrong with your iPod, isn't quite as expensive as Kappy and VZ estimated. For correct pricing in your country, see:
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
If you ship the iPod to Apple rather than taking it to an Apple Store, you may also have to pay a shipping charge.
    Regards.

  • How can I email to customer service at apple store online -Singkapore?

I have ordered iPhone 4s from Apple store online-Singapore,reference order number W27****918 and W23*****47 and I received 3 black iPhones' already. But I need receipt bill with signature from Apple store. But I could not email my request to Apple store. I tried to call but I did not get any good answer, probably the problem from language.
Please give me an email address of Apple store online-Singapore!!!

The Apple Stores don't have published email addresses that I know of. You can, though, find out how to view and print an invoice yourself here:
    http://store.apple.com/sg/help/viewing_changing_orders#invoice
Otherwise you'll have to talk to them by phone. If there's an issue with language, you may wish to enlist the help a friend who speaks the appropriate language.
    Regards.

  • How quickly does the basic iMacMini connect to a Sling Media account and then handle streamed Sling Media content? Is it possible to test this at an Apple store?

How quickly does the basic 1.4GHz/4GB/500GB iMacMini load Sling Media New Watch application and connect to one's account? Is this iMac fast enough to stream a video stream of approx.  2MB bandwidth without buffering (assuming an adequate internet connection) ? Is it possible to test this on a display model at an Apple store in the UK?
    Thanks for your assistance

    You said " 1.4GHz/4GB/500GB iMacMini"
There is not such thin. There is the 1.4 GHz.4G/500GB Mac Min desktop computer.
iMac computers are ingratiated computers that includes the display.

  • I want to mirror my iphone4 to a hd device using the hdmi adapter i bought from an apple store, without jailbreaking my i phone?!

i want to mirror my iphone4 to a hd device using the hdmi adapter bought from an apple store but i donnot want to jailbreak my iphone4?

The iPhone 4 does not support mirroring.
However, you can still output video from supported Apps using the adapter. Apps such as the videos App, and the Phots App in slideshow mode will output video through the adapter.

  • How much will it cost to fix the LCD screen of my iPhone 3G at the Apple Store?

I went upstairs to check my Phone and a plain white screen with verticle lines kept showing. I turned it off and back on and did the same. I can't see anything but the white screen!
How much will it cost to fix the LCD- beacuse i heard it was the LCD- how much in the Apple Store??!

Try a Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts on its own.
If still problems, take iPhone to Apple Store, they charge $99 (not $199) for Front Screen Replacement on  iPhone 3g.
But before they do that, ask them to Reseat Flex Cable #1 (LCD display flex cable) to see if this will fix the Screen for Free.

  • So I have warranty on my iphone4s and my phone4s is messed up but I'm going to the apple store. So they'll probably give me a new one but is there anyway to get the iphone 5 instead?

    I just wanna know!

No. If you get the phone replaced, it will be with an identical model. If you want an upgrade to an iPhone 5, you will have to buy an iPhone 5. Apple does not do trade ins.

  • HT4461 Hello I have just installed my license for OS v 10.6.3 and installed the upgrades on a new hard drive. I would like to upgrade to my license for Lion. How do I do this (through the Apple Store I guess). Cheers

Hello, I have just installed my license for Mac OS v 10.6.3 and installed updates including security updates.
I have a licence for Lion that is sitting on Apples computer somewhere.
How do I access my account and install Lion on my machine?
Beyond that I want to upgrade to Maverick but given I work out the first step upgrading to Maverick should be easy.
    Thanks, Julian R A

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
OS X Lion could be purchased from the Mac App Store (and now, at the Apple Online Store). Once you purchase it, you can download it as many times as you want for free.
Open  > Software Update, and install the most recent Mac OS X version. It should be Mac OS X 10.6.6 or newer. Then, open the Mac App Store, go to Purchases, log in with your Apple ID and download OS X Lion. Make a backup before upgrading and check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com
You can upgrade to OS X Mavericks from Mac OS X 10.6.6 or newer without any problem, so upgrading to OS X Lion first is a waste of time. Open the Mac App Store and download OS X Mavericks
